Photo owned by @libertycrypto27Becoming a parent has been the most beautiful gift that life could give me. I can't imagine life without my little Chiara and without her smile that lights up with joy and light-heartedness even the most tiring and busy days.
Tomorrow is the end of the school year and today the teacher explained to Chiara and her classmates how people should behave to make the earth a better place to live. As a homework assignment my daughter had to draw a picture on the theme that the teacher discussed in class and my daughter made the picture that I have put on the cover of this post.
When my daughter draws or does some manual and creative activity I am happy because today's children and young people spend so much time in front of their smartphones and are increasingly used to being users of content and not creators of content.
I asked my daughter to describe and tell me about her drawing and I wanted to share her explanation with you.
On the left-hand side of the drawing there is a world full of flowers, without waste, with a warm and bright sun. It is a smiling world...
On the right side of the picture is an angry world, full of waste, sad and gloomy and with fires and explosions caused by wars fought by men.
I didn't understand what my daughter had drawn next to the sun and thought it was the moon.
But Chiara answered me surprised as if it was clear and obvious what she had drawn:
But daddy can't you see that it is the halo of Jesus!
I am also in the part of the world at peace and thank goodness I didn't want to be in the part of the world at war. I'm the one with the pointed hair... no, I didn't put my hand in the electrical socket, but simply at my tender age of 42 I still use gel and have a decidedly youthful haircut :) Next to me is Chiara and my wife.
Lower down is my daughter with her best friend called Aurora.
On the right-hand side of the world at war there are two boxes. In the top box there is a man who wants to kill a woman.
In the bottom box is a dead man killed by another man.
My daughter is seven years old and went to second grade this year. Her drawing is simple, but even if it is made by a child it expresses all the historical contradiction of humanity, which has been able to create works of infinite beauty but also works of infinite atrocity such as wars.
The future of the earth could be a future full of peace if we learn to respect the environment around us and to respect one another, or it could be a world full of hatred and wars.
Everything will depend on us, and above all on us parents, who have a very important task because the children of today will be the adults of tomorrow...
Photo owned by @libertycrypto27Diventare genitore è stato il regalo più bello che la vita poteva farmi. Non riesco ad immaginare una vita senza la mia piccola Chiara e senza il suo sorriso che illumina di gioia e spensieratezza anche le giornate più faticose e piene di impegni.
Domani termina l'anno scolastico e oggi la maestra ha spiegato a Chiara e ai suoi compagni di classe come gli uomini dovrebbero comportarsi per rendere la terra un posto migliore in cui vivere. Come compito per casa mia figlia doveva fare un disegno sul tema trattato dalla maestra in classe e mia figlia ha realizzato il disegno che ho messo come copertina a questo mio post.
Quando mia figlia disegna o fa qualche attività manuale e creativa io sono contento perchè i bimbi e i ragazzi di oggi passano tanto tempo davanti allo smartphone e sempre più spesso sono abituati ad essere fruitori di contenuti e non creatori di contenuti.
Ho chiesto a mia figlia di descrivermi e raccontarmi il suo disegno e volevo condividere con voi la sua spiegazione.
Nella parte sinistra del disegno c'è un mondo pieno di fiori, senza rifiuti con un sole caldo e splendente. E'un mondo sorridente...
Nella parte destra del disegno c'è un mondo arrabbiato, pieno di rifiuti, triste e cupo e con fuochi ed esplosioni causati dalle guerre combattute dagli uomini.
Non capivo cosa mia figlia aveva disegnato di fianco al sole e pensavo fosse la luna.
Invece Chiara mi ha risposto sorpresa come se fosse chiaro ed evidente quello che aveva disegnato:
Ma papà non vedi che è l'aureola di Gesù!
Nella parte di mondo in pace ci sono anche io e meno male non volevo proprio trovarmi nella parte del mondo in guerra. Io sono quello con i capelli a punta... no non ho messo la mano nella presa della corrente elettrica ma semplicemente alla mia tenera età di 42 anni ancora uso il gel e porto un taglio di capelli decisamente giovanile :) Vicino a me c'è Chiara e mia moglie.
Più in basso c'è mia figlia con la sua amica del cuore che si chiama Aurora.
Nella parte destra del mondo in guerra ci sono due riquadri. Nel riquadro in alto c'è un uomo che vuole uccidere una donna.
Nel riquadro in basso c'è un uomo morto ucciso da un altro uomo.
Mia figlia ha sette anni e quest'anno ha frequentato la seconda elementare. Il suo è un disegno semplice ma anche se è fatto da una bimba esprime tutta la contraddizione storica dell'umanità che è stata capace di creare opere di infinita bellezza ma anche opere di infinita atrocità come le guerre.
Il futuro della terra potrà essere un futuro pieno di pace se impariamo a rispettare l'ambiente che ci circonda e a rispettarci gli uni con gli altri o potrà essere un mondo pieno di odio e guerre.
Tutto dipenderà da noi e soprattutto da noi genitori che abbiamo un compito molto importante perchè i bimbi di oggi saranno gli adulti di domani...
