Hello hivers, just over three months ago I joined the dCity game. So far I have invested about 900 HIVE and today my virtual city consists of 355 cards. In the following picture you can see the graphic representation of my city. Each colored circle represents a card or a group of cards.
Anyway after three months I am happy to have chosen to invest in dCity and the investment so far has been very good. Usually I write a detailed monthly report on every decentralized game I signed up for but this month I had little time and I am late with my report but I hope to publish it in the next days.
My strategy
My strategy has changed over time and has adapted to the changes and updates dCity has had. At first I chose the cards to buy based on the population attribute in order to position myself in the top 200 places in the ranking so that I would receive a daily HIVE award. Then I reconsidered my strategy and focused on buying the cards that had a good ratio Sim production / $.
In the first 75 days I invested all the rewards of the game in the purchase of new cards. In the last month I converted all the SIMs produced by my city to HIVE. My goal is to reach the Breakeven point. Once I reach the breakeven point I will return to invest in the growth of my city.
Today my city produces 1012 SIMs per day which based on the current value of the SIM tokens on the Hive Engine is equivalent to 4,28076 HIVE.
I deliberately did not take into consideration the value of my cards because in the unfortunate event that the game should collapse my cards would be worth very little. But if I consider the value of the cards that constitute my city I am already in strong profit. The calculation of the profit and the relative ROI will be done in the next few days.
SIM and Active Users
The two aspects that I look at weekly are:
- the value of SIM tokens
- the number of active players
the value of SIM tokens
As you can see from the graph in the image below, the value of SIM tokens has remained fairly stable for the last 30 days.
In particular I consider important the number of active users, as long as dCity keeps or increases the number of active players I won't have to sell any of my cards.
In case there is a negative trend I will start selling the cards that compose my virtual city to decrease the risk.
I didn't have a lot of confidence in this project at the beginning but I had to believe again. The merit is all of the creator of dCity who is very active and has clear ideas about his project unlike other projects whose creators have confused ideas and make improvised choices as in the recent case of the Cryptobrewmaster game where the creators modified and changed the rules of the game within ten hours.
For the moment I am very satisfied with my investment on dcity!
Important note:
dCity more than a game is an investment and mainly as such must be treated. In every type of investment there is always a risk factor to evaluate and consider.
This post is not meant to be in any way an invitation to invest in dCity but it's just my point of view about my personal investment in dCity.

In un modo o nell'altro dopo tre mesi sono contento di aver scelto di investire su dCity e l'investimento fino ad ora è molto buono. In genere scrivo un report mensile dettagliato su ogni gioco decentralizzato a cui mi sono iscritto ma questo mese ho avuto poco tempo e sono in ritardo per quanto riguarda il mio report ma spero di poterlo pubblicare nei prossimi giorni.
La mia strategia
La mia strategia nel corso del tempo è cambiata e si è adattata ai cambiamenti e agli aggiornamenti che dCity ha avuto. In un primo momento sceglievo le carte da acquistare in base all'attributo popolazione con il fine di posizionarmi nei primi 200 posti in classifica in modo da ricevere un premio in HIVE giornaliero. Poi ho rivalutato la mia strategia e mi sono concentrato sull'acquisto delle carte che avevano un buon rapporto Produzione Sim / $.
Nei primi 75 giorni ho investito tutte le ricompense del gioco nell'acquisto di nuove carte. Nell'ultimo mese invece ho convertito tutti i SIM prodotti dalla mia città in HIVE. Il mio obbiettivo è raggiungere il punto di Breakeven. Una volta raggiunto il punto di pareggio ritornerò ad investire nella crescita della mia città.
Oggi la mia città produce 1012 SIM al giorno che in base al valore attuale dei token SIM su Hive Engine equivalgono a 4.28076 HIVE.
Non ho volutamente preso in considerazione il valore delle mie carte perchè nel malaugurato caso in cui il gioco dovesse subire un tracollo le mie carte varrebbero molto poco. Ma se considero il valore delle carte che costituiscono la mia città sono già in forte profitto. Il calcolo del profitto e il relativo ROI lo farò nei prossimi giorni.
SIM e Utenti Attivi
I due aspetti che guardo con cadenza settimanale sono:
- il valore dei token SIM
- il numero dei giocatori attivi
il valore dei token SIM
Come puoi vedere dal grafico nell'immagine in basso, il valore dei token SIM è rimasto abbastanza stabile negli ultmi 30 giorni.

In particolare considero importante il numero degli utenti attivi, fin quando dCity manterrà o aumenterà il numero di giocatori attivi non dovrò vendere nessuna delle mie carte.
Nel caso ci sia un trend tendenzialmente negativo inizierò a vendere le carte che compongono la mia città virtuale per diminuire il rischio.
Non avevo moltissima fiducia in questo progetto all'inizio ma mi sono dovuto ricredere. Il merito è tutto del creatore di dCity che è molto attivo e ha le idee chiare sul suo progetto a differenza di altri progetti i cui creatori hanno idee confuse e fanno scelte improvvisate come nel recente caso del gioco di Cryptobrewmaster dove i creatori hanno modificato e stravolto le regole del gioco nel giro di dieci ore.
Per il momento sono molto soddisfatto del mio investimento su dcity!
Nota Importante:
dCity più che un gioco è un investimento e principalmente come tale deve essere trattato. In ogni tipologia di investimento c'è sempre un fattore di rischio da valutare e considerare.
Questo mio post non vuole essere in alcun modo un invito ad investire su dCity ma è solo il mio punto di vista sul mio personale investimento su dCity.
