I like to share on my Hive blog my progress, thoughts and news about almost every Hive game I play and today it is the turn of dCrops.

dCrops is a farming play to earn game developed and built on the Hive blockchain and I have been a dCrops player for more than two years because I started playing during May 2021.

Today is September 19, 2023, and on dCrops, just under 24 hours ago, the summer season ended and the fall season began, which will end in 14 days and just over 2 hours.

Two interesting new features were introduced during the summer season:

• the Farmers Market
• allocation of 2.25x Crop Power for CROP tokens placed in the Diesel Pool CROP:SWAP.HIVE

The most interesting new feature was the introduction of the Farmers Market, which added the ability to sell and buy in-game items that could not be bought or sold before.

A few days after the introduction of Farmers Market, it was announced that 2.25x Crop Power was awarded for CROP tokens placed in the Diesel Pool CROP:SWAP.HIVE.

On dCrops the CROP Power score has two use cases:

• it influences the maximum number of chests obtainable by completing the 7 seasonal quests
• if higher than 20K points it allows to receive a daily reward in HIVE tokens whose amount depends on the Pool of the reward mechanism which is called Holding Rewards.

For example, I who have a CROP Power score = 64648.53:

• I can receive 14 Reward Chest if I complete all the missions.
• I receive a daily reward in HIVE and my last payment I received was 0.098 HIVE

Starting September 11, 2023, those who add liquidity to the diesel pool CROP:SWAP.HIVE receive 2.25X for each CROP put into the pool.

This means that:

• those who have 1000 CROP on Hive Engine or in the in-game wallet get a CROP Power score = 1000
• whoever has 1000 CROPs in the CROP:SWAP.HIVE pool gets a CROP Power score = 2250

Note: CROP Power is calculated as an average over a 15-day time interval, so the increase in CROP Power is not immediate and will be maximum on the 15th day after liquidity is added.

Important note: Before adding liquidity to a pool I recommend that you study the mechanisms that govern a liquidity pool and understand what impermanent loss is.

My Summer Report and early Autumn operations

In order to check my progress on dCrops season after season, I have gotten into the habit at the beginning of each season of noting down four pieces of information:

• My Account Value
• My Inventory Total Shares Value
• My total CROP tokens in my wallets (in-game wallet and Hive Engine wallet).
• My CROP Power

By comparing the final values with the initial values I can have a concise and compact view of the status of my investment in dCrops.

In the following table you can see the results I got in the summer season.

Today I am recording a decrease in the value of my card collection, which, however, is a very small decrease compared to the beginning of the spring season: -29.39 SWAP.HIVE = -1.42%.

Increasing as always is the value in Shares points of my inventory: +6.39%.

During the summer season I could earn more Shares points but on the last day of the season I was out of town with my family and didn't make it in time to do the last harvest operations and didn't harvest the ripe watermelons in my Land plots :(

Decreased by a very small amount (-0.03%) the amount of CROP in my possession.

The large difference in seasonal percentage increase between my Shares points (+6.39%) and the amount of CROP tokens (-0.03%) is the effect of my event-oriented strategy because in all seasons leading up to the start of the next event organized by dCrops:

• I will only sell crops to complete quests until the start of the next event
• I will sell all other crops only during the next event so that I will get an initial advantage = more points to use in the Event Shop.

With the latest changes introduced I need to do a reevaluation of my strategy but for now I continue in this way.

My CROP Power has increased: +581.04 CROP POWER = +0.91%.

In the summer season, I completed all seasonal quests without difficulty and more than 8 days ahead of the end of the season.

Today I made the claim of rewards from the summer quests and in the following image you can see what I found inside the 14 chests I opened.

I was hoping to find more NFTs inside the chests but I am still satisfied because the 3 WOOD NFTs have a total value of 6.6 HIVE (2.2 HIVE per WOOD).

If you are a new player always remember:

• **to Claim Rewards before clicking on Get New Quests.
• to claim the new quests before planting the seeds for the new season because otherwise you may have a lot of difficulty completing the quests ;)

In the image below you can see the 7 new quests that I need to complete before the end of the fall season.

In this beginning of the season I have been really lucky because I have received 7 quests that I can complete and therefore I don't have to use the reroll function which has a cost of 10 CROP.

Since the quests were introduced this is the second time I have been so lucky and of course I hope it will happen more times in the future.

The next step in managing seasonal quests is the Planting operation executable from the Farm section of dCrops.

In the following image you can see all the seeds that I can plant in the fall season.

The fall season is the worst season for me because it is the only season in which I have no legendary seeds to plant.

Therefore, I decided to use all 5 mystery seeds in my possession hoping to find a legendary seed even though the odds are very low.

Unfortunately, no seed turned into a legendary seed

In the following image you can see all seeds I planted today.

I conclude this post of mine with a little focus on the CROP token. The last time I checked the market value of CROP tokens was September 3, and in the following image you can see the graph of the market value of CROP tokens that I took from Hive Engine on September 3, 2023.

Today there will be some problem displaying the charts on Hive Engine because the candlestick chart is not displayed correctly.

This is not a problem because what matters are the buy orders and sell offers.

In a time interval of 16 days (Sept. 03, 2023 - Sept. 19, 2023) the CROP token registers an increase in value:

• +25.71% compared to the dollar value it had 16 days ago (Highest Bid Market Value)
• +28.16% compared to the dollar value it had 16 days ago (Lowest Ask Market Value)

The HIVE token also registers a good increase in value in a 16-day intevval: +5.09%

The increase in value recorded by the CROP token over the past 16 days is in my opinion the effect of the two new features introduced during the previous season because the Farmers Market and the bonus in CROP Power from the CROP:SWAP.HIVE liquidity pool added two new use cases to the CROP token that increased its market value.

Mi piace condividere sul mio Hive blog i miei progressi, le mie considerazioni e le novità su quasi tutti gli Hive games a cui gioco e oggi è il turno di dCrops.

dCrops è un gioco di farming play to earn sviluppato e costruito sulla blockchain di Hive e io sono un giocatore di dCrops da più di due anni perchè ho iniziato a giocare durante il mese di maggio 2021.

Oggi è il 18 settembre 2023 e su dCrops, da poco meno di 24 ore, è terminata la stagione estiva ed è iniziata la stagione autunnale che terminerà fra 14 giorni e poco più di 2 ore.

Durante la stagione estiva sono state introdotte due interessanti novità:

• il Farmers Market
• assegnazione di 2.25x Crop Power per i token CROP immessi nella Diesel Pool CROP:SWAP.HIVE

La novità più interessante è stata l'introduzione del Farmers Market che ha aggiunto la possibilità di vendere e acquistare anche gli items del gioco che prima non erano acquistabili o vendibili.

Qualche giorno dopo l'introduzione del Farmers Market è stata annunciata l'assegnazione di 2.25x Crop Power per i token CROP immessi nella Diesel Pool CROP:SWAP.HIVE.

Su dCrops il punteggio CROP Power ha due casi d'uso:

• influenza il numero massimo di forzieri ottenibili completando le 7 quests stagionali
• se superiore a 20K punti permette di ricevere una ricompensa giornaliera in token HIVE il cui quantitativo dipende dalla Pool del meccanismo di ricompensa che si chiama Holding Rewards.

Ad esempio io che ho un punteggio CROP Power = 64648.53:

• posso ricevere 14 Reward Chest se completo tutte le missioni
• ricevuo una ricompensa giornaliera in HIVE e il mio ultimo pagamento che ho ricevuto è stato di 0.098 HIVE

A partire dall'11 settembre 2023 chi aggiunge liquidità alla diesel pool CROP:SWAP.HIVE riceve 2.25X per ogni CROP immesso nella pool.

Questo vuol dire che:

• chi ha 1000 CROP su Hive Engine o nell'in-game wallet ottiene un punteggio CROP Power = 1000
• chi ha 1000 CROP nella pool CROP:SWAP.HIVE ottiene un punteggio CROP Power = 2250

Nota: il CROP Power è calcolato come media su un intervallo di tempo di 15 giorni e quindi l'aumento del CROP Power non è immediato e sarà massimo al 15° giorno dall'immissione di liquidità.

Nota importante: prima di aggiungere liquidità ad una pool ti consiglio di studiare i meccanismi che governano una liquidity pool e di comprendere cos'è l'impermanent loss.

Il mio Report estivo e la mia operatività di inizio autunno

Per controllare i miei progressi su dCrops stagione dopo stagione ho preso l'abitudine ad ogni inizio di stagione di annotarmi quattro informazioni:

• My Account Value
• My Inventory Total Shares Value
• My total CROP tokens in my wallets (in-game wallet and Hive Engine wallet)
• My CROP Power

Dal confronto tra i valori finali e i valori iniziali posso averre una visione sintetica e compatta dello stato del mio investimento su dCrops.

Nel prospetto seguente puoi vedere i risultati che ho ottenuto nella stagione estiva.

Oggi registro una diminuzione del valore della mia collezione di carte che però è una diminuzione molto piccola rispetto all'inizio della stagione primaverile: -29.39 SWAP.HIVE = -1.42%.

Aumenta come sempre il valore in punti Shares del mio inventario: +6.39%.

Durante la stagione estiva potevo guadagnare un numero maggiore di punti Shares ma l'ultimo giorno della stagione ero fuori città con la mia famiglia e non ho fatto in tempo ad effettuare le ultime operazioni di harvest e non ho raccolto le angurie mature nei miei Land plots :(

Diminuisce di un valore molto piccolo (-0.03%) il quantitativo di CROP in mio possesso

La grande differenza di incremento percentuale stagionale tra i miei punti Shares (+6.39%) e il quantitativo di CROP tokens (-0.03%) è l'effetto della mia strategia event-oriented perchè in tutte le stagioni che precederanno l'inizio del prossimo evento organizzato da dCrops:

• venderò solo i crops per completare le quests fino all'inizio del prossimo evento
• venderò tutti gli altri crops solo durante il prossimo evento in modo da ottenere un vantaggio iniziale = un numero maggiore di punti da utilizzare nell'Event Shop.

Il mio CROP Power è aumentato: +581.04 CROP POWER = +0.91%.

Un punteggio CROP Power superiore a 20000 permette di ricevere una ricompensa giornaliera in token HIVE.

Nella stagione estiva ho completato tutte le quests stagionali senza difficoltà e con più di 8 giorni di anticipo rispetto alla fine della stagione.

Oggi ho fatto il claim delle ricompense delle quests estive e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere cosa ho trovato all'interno dei 14 forzieri che ho aperto.

Speravo di trovare un numero maggiore di NFTs all'interno dei forzieri ma sono comunque soddisfatto perchè i 3 NFT WOOD hanno un valore totale di 6.6 HIVE (2.2 HIVE per WOOD).

Se sei un nuovo giocatore ricordati sempre:

• di fare il Claim delle Rewards prima di cliccare su Get New Quests
• di richiedere le nuove quests prima di piantare i semi per la nuova stagione perchè altrimenti potresti avere molte difficoltà a completare le quests ;)

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le 7 nuove quests che devo completare prima della fine della stagione autunnale.

In questo inizio di stagione sono stato davvero fortunato perchè ho ricevuto 7 quest che posso completare e quindi non devo utilizzare la funzione reroll che ha un costo di 10 CROP.

Da quando sono state introdotte le quests è la seconda volta che sono così fortunato e ovviamente spero che succeda altre volte in futuro.

Il passo successivo alla gestione delle quests stagionali è l'operazione di Planting eseguibile dalla sezione Farm di dCrops.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutti i semi che posso piantare nella stagione autunnale.

La stagione autunnale è per me la stagione peggiore perchè è l'unica stagione in cui non ho semi leggendari da piantare.

Per questo motivo ho deciso di utilizzare tutti e 5 i mistery seeds in mio possesso sperando di trovare un seme leggendario anche se le probabiltà sono molto basse.

Purtroppo nessun seme si è trasformato in un seme leggendario ma avrò comunque come effetto positivo un aumento della mia produzione stagionale.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutti i semi che ho piantato oggi.

Concludo questo mio post con un piccolo focus sul token CROP. L'ultima volta che ho controllato il valore di mercato dei token CROP era il 3 settembre e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il grafico del valore di mercato dei token CROP che ho preso da Hive Engine il 3 settembre 2023.

Oggi ci sarà qualche problema di visualizzazione dei grafici su Hive Engine perchè il grafico candlestick non è visualizzato correttamente.

Non è un problema perchè quello che conta sono gli ordini di acquisto e le offerte di vendita.

In un intervallo di tempo di 16 giorni (03 settembre 2023 - 19 settembre 2023) il token CROP registra un aumento di valore:

• +25.71% rispetto al valore in dollari che aveva 16 giorni fa (Highest Bid Market Value)
• +28.16% rispetto al valore in dollari che aveva 16 giorni fa (Lowest Ask Market Value)

Anche il token HIVE registra un buon aumento di valore in un intevallo di 16 giorni: +5.09%

L'aumento di valore registrato dal token CROP negli ultimi 16 giorni è secondo me l'effetto delle due novità introdotte nel corso della stagione precedente perchè il Farmers Market e il bonus in CROP Power della liquidity pool CROP:SWAP.HIVE hanno aggiunto due nuovi casi d'uso al token CROP che ha aumentato il suo valore di mercato.
