dCrops: General Sale Purchase Cases Evaluations + The opening of my first 10 BETA packs
On August 25, 2022 ended the Presale Beta of dCrops which is an NFT-based farming game developed and built on the blockchain of Hive.
During the presale buying a Beta pack had a cost of $2.70 while now that the General Sale is underway buying a Beta pack has a cost of $3.
In a previous post of mine I showed all the possible purchase cases during the Beta presale and today I want to show all the possible purchase cases during the BETA General Sale.
In fact, to purchase a Beta pack it is possible to use 5 different payment methods (HIVE, SWAP.HIVE, HBD, SWAP.BUSD, CROP) from the Shop section of dCrops or it is possible to purchase DCBETA tokens on the markets of the second level tokens of the Hive blockchain using only SWAP.HIVE tokens.
But before I show the best purchase method that can be used today August 30, 2022 to purchase a Beta pack I want to share the opening of 10 BETA packs and some personal evaluations and considerations.

Contest participants could win one of 15 packs provided by dCrops (5 ALPHA and 10 BETA) and winners will be chosen randomly.
Today I decided to open 10 BETA packs, an operation I performed from the OPEN section of the Dcrops site.
Each BETA pack contains 3 NFTs and in the image below you can see the odds of finding a card of a given rarity (Drop Rates).
Finding a legendary card will be very difficult (1%) but I hope luck will kiss me :)
It is possible to open a maximum of 5 BETA packs at once and that is the option I chose.
In the following images you can see the cards I found in the first 5 BETA packs I opened.
In the first 5 packs I did not find any legendary cards, but I still had 5 packs to open. Much to my surprise and happiness I immediately noticed a bright, dancing card in my sixth pack :)
Yeeeeessss!!! I found my first legendary card of the BETA edition!
I opened my spreadsheet and created a table to calculate the total market value of the BETA edition cards I found inside the 10 BETA packs I opened (see image below).
The market value of the BETA cards I found today is 274.29 SWAP.HIVE = $151.41.
Obviously this value is an estimated value because it is based on the lowest market price for each card I found inside the packs I opened and also it has only been 5 days since the presale ended.
My legendary card Stove has a market value of 128 SWAP.HIVE and there are only 3 Stove cards for sale on the market.
To buy 10 BETA packs I spent 27$ but the cards I found in the opened packs have a market value of 274.29 SWAP.HIVE = 151.41$. Not bad right? If I exclude the value of the legendary card Stove which might be overestimated I still get a good value: 146.29 SWAP.HIVE = $80.75.
I am very happy with the contents I found in the first 10 BETA packs I opened and immediately used the seed cards I found that are plantable in the current season on dCrops which is Spring.
In the coming days I will consider whether to keep the Stove card with the goal of building my first Building-type NFT or to put it on the market for sale with the goal of buying more BETA packs...
In conclusion, I want to share the calculations related to the BETA pack purchase cases that can be made during the General Sale with the intent to help those of my readers who are not very practical in evaluating the market value of tokens that can be used as a purchase method. BETA packs have a fixed cost of $3 per pack but can be purchased using a variety of payment methods and the actual dollar cost of a BETA pack can change depending on the token used as a payment method and a wrong choice can mean missing out on a possible discount or it can mean paying a BETA pack much more than $3.
In the image below you can see all the purchase cases of a BETA pack and its effective Cost in dollars per pack based on the market value of the token used for the purchase.
The best possible purchase today, August 30, 2022, is to try to bid on Hive's second-tier token markets to try to purchase a DCBETA token.
However, this is a mode of purchase that is not always realizable and is certainly not immediate because it will only be realized if the purchase offer is accepted, and in recent days only DCBETA tokens have been sold based on the price of the best sale offer and not based on the best purchase offer.
For those who want to purchase a BETA pack immediately, the most convenient options today, August 30, 2022, are as follows:
- purchase a DCBETA token from TribalDex or Hive Engine based on the Lowest Ask value: Cost per pack: 5.2999930 SWAP.HIVE = $2.925596
- Purchase a BETA pack from the Shop section of dCrops using HBD tokens: Cost per pack: 3 HBD = $2.9370
Absolutely it is not worthwhile today to buy a BETA pack with CROP tokens because then the cost per pack would rise to $6.62. Better to sell the CROP tokens first on Hive's second-level tokens markets and buy a DCBETA token using the SWAP.HIVE tokens obtained from the sale of the CROP tokens ;)
For those who want to purchase more than 100 packs in a single transaction, the method I recommend today is to use HBD tokens and the cost per pack decreases as follows:
- purchase of 100 BETA packs + 10 bonus packs: $2.67 per pack
- purchase of 500 BETA packs + 75 bonus packs: $2.55 per pack
- purchase of 2000 BETA packs + 400 bonus packs: $2.44 per pack

La valutazione dei casi di acquisto della General Sale (30 agosto 2022) + L'apertura di 10 pacchi Beta
Il 25 agosto 2022 è terminata la Beta Presale di dCrops che è un gioco di farming basato su NFT sviluppato e costruito sulla blockchain di Hive.
Durante la presale acquistare un pacco Beta aveva un costo di 2.70$ mentre adesso che è in corso la General Sale acquistare un pacco Beta ha un costo di 3$.
In un mio precedente post ho mostrato tutti i casi di acquisto possibili durante la Beta presale e oggi voglio mostrare tutti i casi di acquisto possibili durante la Beta General Sale. Infatti per acquistare un pacco di carte Beta è possibile utilizzare 5 diversi metodi di pagamento (HIVE, SWAP.HIVE, HBD, SWAP.BUSD, CROP) dalla sezione Shop di dCrops oppure è possibile acquistare i token DCBETA sui dex dei token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive utilizzando esclusivamente i token SWAP.HIVE.
Ma prima di mostrare il miglior metodo di acquisto utilizzabile oggi 30 agosto 2022 per acquistare un pacco Beta voglio condividere l'apertura di 10 pacchi BETA e alcune valutazioni e considerazioni personali.

I partecipanti al contest potranno vincere uno dei 15 pacchi messi a disposizione da dCrops (5 ALPHA e 10 BETA) e i vincitori saranno scelti in modo casuale.
Oggi ho deciso di aprire 10 pacchi BETA, operazione che ho effettuato dalla sezione OPEN del sito di Dcrops.
Ogni pacco BETA contiene 3 NFTs e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le probabilità di trovare una carta di una determinata rarità (Drop Rates).
Trovare una carta leggendaria sarà molto difficile (1%) ma spero che la fortuna mi bacerà :)
E' possibile aprire un massimo di 5 pacchi BETA contemporaneamente ed è l'opzione che ho scelto.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le carte che ho trovato nei primi 5 pacchi BETA che ho aperto.
Nei primi 5 pacchi non ho trovato nessuna carta leggendaria ma ho ancora 5 pacchi da aprire. Con grande sopresa e felicità ho subito notato una carta luminosa e ballerina nel mio sesto pacco :)
Yeeeeessss!!! Ho trovato la mia prima carta leggendaria dell'edizione BETA!
Ho aperto il mio foglio di calcolo e ho creato una tabella per calcolare il valore di mercato totale delle carte dell'edizione BETA che ho trovato all'interno dei 10 pacchi BETA che ho aperto (vedi immagine seguente).
Il valore di mercato delle carte BETA che ho trovato oggi è di 274.29 SWAP.HIVE = 151.41$.
Ovviamente questo valore è un valore stimato perchè si basa sul prezzo di mercato più basso per ogni carta che ho trovato all'interno dei pacchi che ho aperto e inoltre sono passati solo 5 giorni dalla fine della prevendita.
La mia carta leggendaria Stove ha un valore di mercato di 128 SWAP.HIVE e sul mercato ci sono solo 3 carte Stove in vendita.
Per acquistare 10 pacchi BETA ho speso 27$ ma le carte che ho trovato nei pacchi aperti hanno un valore di mercato di 274.29 SWAP.HIVE = 151.41$. Non male vero? Se escludo il valore della carta leggendaria Stove che potrebbe essere sovrastimato ottengo comunque un buon valore: 146.29 SWAP.HIVE = 80.75$.
Sono molto contento del contenuto che ho trovato nei primi 10 pacchi BETA che ho aperto e ho subito utilizzato le carte seme che ho trovato e che sono piantabili nella stagione in corso su dCrops che è la Primavera.
Nei prossimi giorni valuterò se tenere la carta Stove con l'obiettivo di costruire il mio primo NFT di tipo Building o se metterla in vendita sul mercato con l'obiettivo di comprare altri pacchi BETA...
In conclusione voglio condividere i calcoli relativi ai casi di acquisto dei pacchi BETA effettuabili durante la General Sale con l'obiettivo di aiutare chi dei miei lettori non è molto pratico nella valutazione del valore di mercato dei token utilizzabili come metodo di acquisto. I pacchi BETA hanno un costo fisso di 3$ ma possono essere acquistati utilizzando diversi metodi di pagamento e il costo effettivo in dollari di un pacco BETA può cambiare in base al token utilizzato come metodo di pagamento e una scelta sbagliata può significare perdere un possibile sconto oppure può significare pagare un pacco BETA molto di più di 3$.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutti i casi di acquisto di un pacco BETA e il relativo Costo effettivo in dollari per pacco in base al valore di mercato del token utilizzato per l'acquisto.
Il miglior acquisto possibile oggi 30 agosto 2022 è quello di provare ad effettuare un'offerta di aquisto sui mercati dei token di secondo livello di Hive per cercare di acquistare un token DCBETA.
Questa è però una modalità di acquisto non sempre realizzabile e sicuramente non è immediata perchè si realizzerà solo se l'offerta di acquisto verrà accettata e negli ultimi giorni sono stati venduti solo pacchi BETA in base al prezzo della miglior offerta di vendita dei token DCBETA.
Per chi vuole acquistare subito un pacco BETA le opzioni più convenienti oggi 30 agosto 2022 sono le seguenti:
- acquistare un token DCBETA da TribalDex o Hive Engine in base al valore Lowest Ask: Costo per pacco: 5.2999930 SWAP.HIVE = 2.925596$
- acquistare un pacco BETA dalla sezione Shop di dCrops utilizzando i token HBD: Costo per pacco: 3 HBD = 2.9370$
In modo assoluto non conviene oggi acquistare un pacco BETA con i token CROP perchè in questo caso il costo per pacco salirebbe a 6.62$. Meglio vendere prima i token CROP sui mercati dei token di secondo livello di Hive e acquistare un token DCBETA utilizzando i token SWAP.HIVE ottenuti dalla vendita dei token CROP ;)
Per chi vuole acquistare un numero di pacchi superiore alle 100 unità in un'unica transazione il metodo che consiglio oggi è di utilizzare i token HBD e il costo per pacco diminuisce nel seguente modo:
- acquisto di 100 pacchi BETA + 10 pacchi bonus: 2.67$ per pacco
- acquisto di 500 pacchi BETA + 75 pacchi bonus: 2.55$ per pacco
- acquisto di 2000 pacchi BETA + 400 pacchi bonus: 2.44$ per pacco
