The Amazing Xmas Event Promotion is over! Profit and ROI calculation!
On dCrops about 4 hours ago, the fall season ended and the winter season began, which will end in 14 days and 19 hours.
In the fall season I planted 82 seeds and as in the previous three seasons I decided not to sell all the crops I have obtained for two reasons:
- I want to keep a good number of crops in my inventory so that I can easily complete seasonal quests
- in case dCrops will organize a nice promotion like the Xmas event promotion in the future I could get much more benefit by selling crops during the promotion instead of now.
I completed the quests quite smoothly and today I made the claim of 12 chests and in the following picture you can see the contents I found inside the chests.
In today's post I want to focus on share points which are an important element in the game of dCrops and I want to show how to calculate the estimated seasonal and annual ROI of a seed card.
Seed cards when planted in a Land card plot produce a certain amount of crops that when collected go into the inventory section and can be sold for shares points.
The shares points allow you to enter the Leaderboards which is one of the reward mechanisms of the dCrops game.
The Leaderboards rewards active players every 15 days through a Reward Pool of CROP tokens that is divided among all players who have earned Shares points during a season.
This means that the more Shares points a player accumulates during a season, the higher the reward in CROP tokens will be.
This explains why point shares are so important in the game of dCrops.
How much is a point share worth?
This question cannot always be answered with an accurate and current value but only and exclusively with an estimated value because it refers to the time when Leaderboard rewards are distributed which is exactly the time when a season of dCrops ends.
In the season that just ended I only got 8 share points because as I explained to you at the beginning of this post I did not want to sell my crops and decided to keep them.
Before the end of the season I had in my in-game wallet 13793,353 CROP.
Now and after the distribution of Leaderboards rewards in my wallet there are 13798,543 CROP.
If I do the following subtraction, I get the amount of CROP tokens I earned from the 8 Shares points I got during the fall season.
13798,543 - 13793,353 = 5.19 CROPS
Based on the market values of the CROP tokens I can calculate the HIVE and dollar value of 1 point share.
Obviously for the reasons I explained earlier the values given above are the values that the point shares had in the fall season while in the current winter season they may have different values even if the market values were to remain the same.
Calculating the HIVE and dollar value of 1 point Share is very important because it allows us to make some important evaluations.
For example, it allows you to calculate the **estimated seasonal and annual ROI of 1 seed card.
To show you how to calculate the estimated seasonal and annual ROI of a seed card I will give a practical example by considering the Peas card which is a common type seed card that can be used in the current season (winter).
The Peas seed card has a market value of 0.920 SWAP.HIVE and produces 5 crops during the winter season that are sellable for 3 Shares points each for a total of 15 Shares points.
This means that by using a Peas card and selling crops products I will get an estimated gain of 15 Shares = 9.73 CROP = 0.024331 HIVE = $0.013452 during the winter season.
In the following image you can see the calculation of the **estimated seasonal ROI of a Peas card: +2.6447%
I can also calculate the **estimated annual ROIof the production of a Peas card by multiplying the estimated earnings of a single season by 6.0833 because the Peas card can be used once every 60 days.
In farming games like dCrops it is always important to do calculations and evaluations before purchasing a game asset and I hope I have given you useful information.

Come calcolare il ROI stimato stagionale e annuale di una carta seme!
Su dCrops da circa 4 ore è finita la stagione autunnale ed è iniziata la stagione invernale che terminerà fra 14 giorni e 19 ore.
Nella stagione autunnale ho piantato 82 semi e come nelle tre precedenti stagioni ho deciso di non vendere tutti i crops che ho ottenuto per due motivi:
- voglio mantenere un buon numero di crops nel mio inventario per poter completare agevolmente le quests stagionali
- nel caso dCrops organizzerà in futuro una bella promozione come la promozione Xmas event potrei ottenere molti più vantaggi vendendo i crops durante la promozione invece di adesso.
Ho completato le quests abbastanza agevolmente e oggi ho fatto il claim di 12 forzieri e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il contenuto che ho trovato all'interno dei forzieri.
Nel post di oggi voglio focalizzarmi sui punti shares che sono un elemento importante nel gioco di dCrops e voglio mostrare come calcolare il ROI stimato stagionale e annuale di una carta seme.
Le carte seme se piantate in un plot di una carta Land producono un certo quantitativo di crops che una volta raccolti vanno a finire nella sezione inventario e possono essere venduti in cambio dei punti shares.
I punti shares permettono di entrare nella Leaderboards che è uno dei meccanismi di ricompensa del gioco di dCrops.
La Leaderboards premia i giocatori attivi ogni 15 giorni tramite una Reward Pool di token CROP che viene divisa tra tutti i giocatori che hanno ottenuto dei punti Shares durante una stagione.
Questo vuol dire che più punti shares accumulerà un giocatore durante una stagione e più sarà alto il premio in token CROP.
Ecco spiegato il motivo per cui i punti shares sono così importanti nel gioco di dCrops.
Quanto vale un punto share?
A questa domanda non si può rispondere sempre con un valore preciso e attuale ma solo ed esclusivamente con un valore stimato perchè riferito al momento in cui vengono distribuite le ricompense della Leaderboard che è esattamente il momento in cui termina una stagione di dCrops.
Nella stagione appena conclusa ho ottenuto solo 8 punti shares perchè come ti ho spiegato all'inizio di questo post non ho voluto vendere i miei crops e ho deciso di conservarli.
Prima della fine della stagione avevo nel mio in-game wallet 13793.353 CROP.
Adesso e dopo la distribuzione dei premi della Leaderboards nel mio wallet ci sono 13798.543 CROP.
Se faccio la seguente sottrazione ottengo il quantitativo di token CROP che ho ottenuto grazie agli 8 punti Shares che ho ottenuto durante la stagione autunnale.
13798.543 - 13793.353 = 5.19 CROP
In base ai valori di mercato dei token CROP posso calcolare il valore in HIVE e in dollari di 1 punto share.
Ovviamente per i motivi che ti ho spiegato prima i valori indicati sopra sono i valori che i punti shares hanno avuto nella stagione autunnale mentre nella stagione invernale in corso potrebbero avere dei valori diversi anche se i valori di mercato dovessero rimanere uguali.
Il calcolo del valore in HIVE e in dollari di 1 punto Share è molto importante perchè permette di fare alcune importanti valutazioni.
Ad esempio permette di calcolare il ROI stimato stagionale e annuale di 1 carta seme.
Per mostrarti come calcolare il ROI stimato stagionale e annuale di una carta seme farò un pratico esempio prendendo in considerazione la carta Peas che è una carta seme di tipo comune utilizzabile nella stagione in corso (inverno).
La carta seme Peas ha un valore di mercato di 0.920 SWAP.HIVE e produce 5 crops durante la stagione invernale che sono vendibili per 3 punti Shares l'uno per un totale di 15 punti Shares.
Questo vuol dire che utilizzando una carta Peas e vendendo i crops prodotti otterrò un guadagno stimato di 15 Shares = 9.73 CROP = 0.024331 HIVE = 0.013452$ durante la stagione invernale.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il calcolo del ROI stimato stagionale di una carta Peas: +2.6447%
Posso anche calcolare il **ROI stimato annuale **della produzione di una carta Peas moltiplicando il guadagno stimato di una singola stagione per 6.0833 perchè la carta Peas può essere utilizzata una volta ogni 60 giorni.
Nei giochi di farming come dCrops è sempre importante fare calcoli e valutazioni prima di acquistare un asset del gioco e spero di averti dato informazioni utili.
