On Dcrops the fall season has recently ended and winter has begun. I started playing Dcrops almost from the beginning, it was late May 2021 and the second season of the game had just started. Each late/early season is the ideal time for me to evaluate my investment on Dcrops and it is also the time I chose to check the trend of the market prices of the game's cards and to check the trend of the value of the only native token of the game: the CROP token.

If you want to start as a farmer you need to buy at least 2 cards of different types: - **1 LAND card** - **1 SEED card**

LAND cards and SEED cards are NFTs that have different playing characteristics:

• LAND cards can be used continuously, in every season of the game.
• SEED cards can be used only in a specific season and therefore their use is cyclic but discontinuous. So SEED cards are not lost after the harvest but can be used once every 45 days.

## LAND cards: The best buy

In the game of Dcrops there are four types of LAND cards (image below).

A SEED card needs one land to be used, and LAND cards have a number of plots that increases based on the rarity of the card (min.1 - max 4):

• Average Farmland (Common type card): 1 plot = 1 usable seed card
• Fertile Land (rare card): 2 plots = 2 usable seed cards at the same time
• Awesome Land (Epic card type): 3 plots = 3 seed cards that can be used at the same time
• Hi-Tec Land (Legendary type card): 4 plots = 4 seed cards usable at the same time

LAND cards also have a Bonus attribute that varies from 2% (Average Farmland) to 10% (Hi-Tec Land). The bonus attribute increases the probability of receiving additional CROP at harvest time but is not an element that I consider decisive in choosing the best LAND card to buy unless the price difference between two cards is very small.

The main criteria I have chosen to identify which LAND card to buy is the lowest Cost per Plot.

In the following table I have included the prices of LAND cards that are for sale on the Dcrops marketplace today February 11 and calculated the Cost per Plot in SWAP.HIVE in the following two purchase cases:

• payment with SWAP.HIVE tokens.
• payment with CROP tokens.

As you can see from the calculations in the table in the following image, the Land card that has the lowest cost per plot is the Fertile Land rare card in the case of using SWAP.HIVE tokens as payment method. The Fertile Land card has a cost per plot of 1.14 SWAP.HIVE and is therefore the best possible purchase at this time.

At the time of writing this post there are 41 Fertile Land cards priced at 2.28 SWAP.HIVE and they were all offered for sale by the same player: @desecration

The last time I checked the market values of the LAND cards was January 27, 2021.

In the following image you can see the difference in value of the LAND cards I recorded on the dates:

• January 27, 2021
• February 11th 2021

## SEED Cards: The best buy for the winter season There are five SEED cards that can be used during the autumn season: - **Peas** card (common type) - **Radish** card (common type) - **Cabbage** card (rare type) - **Onion** card (epic type) - **Bell Pepper** card (legendary type)

Only the legendary Bell Pepper card can be used multiple times during the winter season (it has no cooldown period). All other cards can only be used once during the current winter season and then can be reused in the next winter season.

The SEED cards allow you to obtain agricultural products (Crop) which can be sold in exchange for SHARES points. The SHARES points allow you to position yourself in the Leaderboard of Dcrops, which rewards players according to the amount of SHARES points they have collected during the season with a quantity of CROP tokens (end-of-season reward).

When choosing which SEED cards to purchase, it is important to calculate the SHARES POINTS/HIVE ratio for each SEED card that can be used in a season.

The SHARES Points/HIVE ratio indicates the minimum number of SHARES points that can be obtained for each HIVE token spent on the purchase of a SEED card.

Calculating the value of each SEED card's SHARES POINTS/HIVE ratio is easy:

Total SHARES Points obtainable from the SEED card in a season / SEED card purchase cost (in HIVE)

In the table in the following image you can see the SHARES/HIVE points ratio values for each SEED card that can be used during the winter season.

As you can see from the calculations in the table above, the card with the highest SHARES points/HIVE ratio value is the *Cabbage card (63.15) which is therefore the best card to buy today February 11, 2022. Each HIVE token spent on the purchase of a Cabbage card earns a minimum of 63.15 SHARES points. On the other hand, the worst buy is the legendary Bell Pepper card which has the lowest SHARES/HIVE points ratio: 5.00.

Compared to 14 days ago, the market price of SEED cards that can be used in the autumn season has decreased, except for the legendary card Bell Pepper whose market price has almost doubled: 86.60% (see table below).

## Evaluation of my investment on Dcrops To evaluate my investment on Dcrops I have to consider: - **the total cost of my investment** - **the total value of the game assets in my possession**.

So far I haven't sold any CROP cards and tokens in my possession, otherwise I would have to consider the total value of the revenues obtained from the sale of the assets of the game.

### Total cost of my investment The total cost of my investment on Dcrops is the cost I've incurred to date to purchase: - packs of Alpha cards - individual cards from the Dcrops marketplace.

I have not purchased any additional assets in the last few months, so my investment is the same as in my previous report: 156.57 HIVE tokens.

### Total value of assets in my possession The total value of the assets in my possession is given by the sum of the following values: - value of the cards collection - value of card packs bought but not opened - total value of game rewards received (CROP tokens and HIVE tokens) ### The value of my card collection My card collection consists of **193 cards (NFT)**: - 18 **LAND** cards - 175 **SEED** cards

To calculate the total value of my collection of cards I take as reference the lowest sale price on the market of Dcrops at the time of writing my report (February 11, 2022). As you can see from the calculations in the table below, the market value of my card collection is 233.19 SWAP.HIVE = 261.18$.

Compared to 14 days ago (January 27, 2022) my card collection has increased its value in terms of SWAP.HIVE tokens even though the increase is very small: + 1.01 SWAP.HIVE). The dollar value of my card collection has also increased and due to the difference in value of the HIVE tokens (Jan 27, Feb 9) the increase in value in this case is larger: + 56.45 $)

### The value of card packs in my possession

To date, I have purchased 34 packs of Alpha cards. I chose not to open 20 packs of cards to increase my CROP Power: 20 Alpha packs = 40000 points of CROP POWER.

Today February 11, 2022 the value of an ALPHA card pack = DCALPHA token on Hive Engine, Tribal Dex or LeoDEX is:

• 7.49 SWAP.HIVE = $8.31 (Lowest Ask).
• 5.00 SWAP.HIVE = $5.55 (Highest BID)

In the image below you can see the Candlestick chart of DCALPHA token for the period December 9, 2021 - February 11, 2022.

In my reports I always consider the lowest and immediately monetizable value of the DCALPHA card packs and therefore the total value of the Dcrops card packs in my possession is 100 SWAP.HIVE = $112

In 14 days both values of the card packs in my possession have increased:

• value in SWAP.HIVE = + 20 SWAP.HIVE
• value in dollars: + 41.52$

## The value of my CROP tokens

The CROP tokens are the native tokens of Dcrops and are also second level tokens of the Hive blockchain and as such can be bought and sold on the Hive Engine/TribalDex/LeoDEX marketplaces.

CROP tokens are also the seasonal reward for placement on the Leaderboard of Dcrops.

In the last season I forgot to sell the agricultural products and so the total amount of CROP tokens I have remained the same as at the beginning of the previous season: 6382,952 CROP tokens.

On January 27, 6382,952 CROP tokens had a value of 11.84 SWAP.HIVE = $10.43.

Today, February 11, after 14 days, 6382,952 CROP tokens have a value of 14.10 SWAP.HIVE = $15.79.

### Holding Rewards

In addition to the Leaderboard on Dcrops there is a second mechanism to reward players who have a CROP POWER score above 20000 points. My CROP POWER score is 46958.90 points and thanks to this score I receive a daily reward in liquid HIVE tokens.

The value of the last reward I received from Dcrops was 0.098 HIVE (My share: 0.1448%).

To date, I have received a total of 14.78 HIVE from Dcrops' Holding Rewards ranking.

## Profit, Roi and Considerations

To date, February 11, 2021, I have invested 156.57 HIVE in the game of Dcrops: My card collection has a total value of 233.19 SWAP.HIVE (estimated value). The 20 packs of Alpha cards in my possession have a value of 100 HIVE. From the Holding Rewards collection I received a total value of 14.78 HIVE. The value of the CROP tokens in my possession is 14.10 SWAP.HIVE.

In about 8 1/2 months I invested 156.57 HIVE tokens in Dcrops and got a profit of 205.50 HIVE = $230.16

The profit of 205.50 HIVE tokens corresponds to an ROI of +131.25%

## Final Considerations

In the last 14 days my investment in Dcrops has increased in value because both my profit and ROI have increased.

I am satisfied with the financial result I have achieved so far from my gaming/investment activity on Dcrops. In 8 and a half months I have achieved an ROI of 131.25% and a profit of 205.50 HIVE.

In all likelihood in Q2 of this year the cards from the Beta collection will be released and I am curious to see the impact of the new collection of cards on the game dynamics.

DCROPS: Le migliori carte da acquistare in Inverno + Il mio report finanziario

Su Dcrops è da poco terminata la stagione autunnale ed è iniziato l'inverno. Ho iniziato a giocare a Dcrops quasi fin dall'inizio, era fine maggio 2021 ed era iniziata da poco la seconda stagione del gioco. Ogni fine/inizio stagione è il momento ideale per me per valutare il mio investimento su Dcrops ed è anche il momento che ho scelto per controllare l'andamento dei prezzi di mercato delle carte del gioco e per controllare l'andamento del valore dell'unico token nativo del gioco: il token CROP.

Se vuoi iniziare l'attività da imprenditore agricolo devi acquistare almeno 2 carte di tipologia diversa: - **1 carta LAND** - **1 carta SEED**

Le carte LAND e le carte SEED sono NFT che hanno caratteristiche di gioco differenti:

• le carte LAND possono essere utilizzate di continuo, in ogni stagione del gioco.
• le carte SEED possono essere utilizzate solo in una specifica stagione e quindi il loro utilizzo è ciclico ma discontinuo. Quindi le carte SEED non si perdono dopo il raccolto ma possono essere utilizzate una volta ogni 45 giorni.

## Carte LAND: Il miglior acquisto

Nel gioco di Dcrops ci sono quattro tipi di carte LAND (immagine seguente).

Una carta SEED ha bisogno di un terreno per essere utilizzata e le carte LAND hanno un numero di terreni che aumenta in base alla rarità della carta (min.1 - max 4):

• Average Farmland (carta di tipo Comune): 1 terreno = 1 carta seme utilizzabile
• Fertile Land (carta di tipo Rara): 2 terreni = 2 carte seme utilizzabili contemporaneamente
• Awesome Land (carta di tipo Epica): 3 terreni = 3 carte seme utilizzabili contemporaneamente
• Hi-Tec Land (carta di tipo Leggendaria): 4 terreni = 4 carte seme utilizzabili contemporaneamente

Le carte LAND hanno anche un attributo Bonus che varia dal 2% (Average Farmland) al 10% (Hi-Tec Land). L'attributo bonus aumenta la probabilità di ricevere dei CROP aggiuntivi al momento del raccolto ma non è un elemento che io considero determinante nella scelta della migliore carta LAND da comprare a meno che la differenza di prezzo tra due carte sia molto piccola.

Il criterio principale che ho scelto per individuare quale carta LAND comprare è il Costo per Plot più basso.

Nella tabella seguente ho inserito i prezzi delle carte LAND che sono in vendita sul mercato di Dcrops oggi 11 febbraio e ho calcolato il Costo per Plot in SWAP.HIVE nei seguenti due casi di acquisto:

• pagamento con i token SWAP.HIVE
• pagamento con i token CROP.

Come puoi vedere dai calcoli presenti nella tabella nell'immagine seguente la carta Land che ha il minor costo per plot è la carta rara Fertile Land nel caso di utilizzo dei token SWAP.HIVE come metodo di pagamento. La carta Fertile Land ha un costo per plot di 1.14 SWAP.HIVE ed è quindi il miglior acquisto possibile in questo momento.

Nel momento in cui scrivo questo post ci sono 41 carte Fertile Land al prezzo di 2.28 SWAP.HIVE e sono state tutte messe in vendita dallo stesso giocatore: @desecration

L'ultima volta che ho controllato i valori di mercato delle carte LAND era il 27 gennaio 2021.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere la differenza di valore delle carte LAND che ho registrato nelle date:

• 27 gennaio 2021
• 11 febbraio 2021

## Carte SEED: Il miglior acquisto per la stagione invernale Le carte SEED utilizzabili durante la stagione invernale sono cinque: - carta **Peas** (tipo comune) - carta **Radish** (tipo comune) - carta **Cabbage** (tipo rara) - carta **Onion** (tipo epica) - carta **Bell Pepper** (tipo leggendaria)

Solo la carta leggendaria Bell Pepper può essere utilizzata più volte durante la stagione autunale (non ha un periodo di cooldown). Tutte le altre carte possono essere utilizzate una sola volta durante la corrente stagione invernale e poi potranno essere riutilizzate nella stagione invernale successiva.

Le carte SEED permettono di ottenere i prodotti agricoli (Crop) che possono essere venduti in cambio di punti SHARES . I punti SHARES permettono di posizionarsi nella Leaderboard di Dcrops che premia i giocatori in base al quantitativo di punti SHARES che hanno raccolto durante la stagione con un quantitativo di token CROP (ricompensa di fine stagione).

Nella scelta delle carte SEED da acquistare è importante calcolare il rapporto Punti SHARES/HIVE per ogni carta SEED utilizzabile in una determinata stagione.

Il rapporto PUNTI SHARES/HIVE indica il numero minimo dei punti Shares ottenibile per ogni token HIVE speso nell'acquisto di una carta SEED.

Calcolare il valore del rapporto PUNTI SHARES/HIVE di ogni carta SEED è facile:

Totale Punti SHARES ottenibili dalla carta SEME in una stagione / costo di acquisto della carta SEME (in HIVE)

Nella tabella nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere i valori del rapporto Punti SHARES/HIVE per ogni carta SEED utilizzabile durante la stagione invernale.

Come puoi vedere dai calcoli nella tabella in alto, la carta che ha il valore del rapporto punti SHARES/HIVE più alto è la carta *Cabbage (63.15) che è quindi la carta migliore da acquistare oggi 11 febbraio 2022. Ogni token HIVE speso nell'acquisto di una carta Cabbage permette di guadagnare un minimo di 63.15 punti SHARES. Il peggior acquisto è invece la carta leggendaria Bell Pepper che ha il rapporto punti SHARES/HIVE più basso: 5.00.

Rispetto a 14 giorni fa il prezzo di mercato delle carte SEED utilizzabili nella stagione autunnale è diminuito tranne per la carta leggendaria Bell Pepper il cui prezzo di mercato è quasi raddoppiato: 86.60% (vedi tabella seguente).

## Valutazione del mio investimento su Dcrops Per valutare il mio investimento su Dcrops devo considerare: - **il costo totale del mio investimento** - **il valore totale degli assets del gioco in mio possesso**

Fino ad oggi non ho venduto carte e token CROP in mio possesso altrimenti dovrei considerare anche il valore totale dei ricavi ottenuti dalla vendita degli assets del gioco

### Costo totale del mio investimento Il costo totale del mio investimento su Dcrops è il costo che ho sostenuto fino ad oggi per acquistare: - i pacchi di carte Alpha - singole carte dal mercato di Dcrops.

Negli ultimi mesi non ho acquistato ulteriori assets e quindi il mio investimento è uguale a quello del mio report precedente: 156.57 token HIVE.

Per calcolare il valore totale della mia collezione di carte prendo come riferimeno il prezzo di vendita più basso presente sul mercato di Dcrops al momento della stesura del mio report (11 febbraio 2022). Come puoi vedere dai calcoli nella tabella seguente, il valore di mercato della mia collezione di carte è di 233.19 SWAP.HIVE = 261.18$.

Rispetto a 14 giorni fa (27 gennaio 2022) la mia collezione di carte ha aumentato il suo valore in termini di token SWAP.HIVE anche se l'aumento è molto piccolo: + 1.01 SWAP.HIVE). E' aumentato anche il valore in termini di dollari della mia collezione di carte e grazie alla differenza di valore dei token HIVE (27 gennaio, 11 febbraio) l'aumento di valore in questo caso è maggiore: + 56.45 $)

### Il valore dei pacchi di carte in mio possesso

Fino ad oggi ho acquistato 34 pacchi di carte Alpha. Ho scelto di non aprire 20 pacchi di carte per far aumentare il mio CROP Power: 20 pacchi Alpha = 40000 punti di CROP POWER.

Oggi 11 febbraio 2022 il valore di un pacco di carte ALPHA = token DCALPHA su Hive Engine, Tribal Dex o LeoDEX è di:

• 7.49 SWAP.HIVE = 8.31$ (Lowest Ask)
• 5.00 SWAP.HIVE = 5.55$ (Highest BID)

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il grafico Candlestick del token DCALPHA relativo al periodo 9 dicembre 2021 - 11 febbraio 2022.

Nei miei report considero sempre il valore più basso e immediatamente monetizzabile dei pacchi di carte DCALPHA e quindi il valore totale dei pacchi di carte di Dcrops in mio possesso è di 100 SWAP.HIVE = 112$

In 14 giorni sono aumentati entrambi i valori dei pacchi di carte in mio possesso:

• valore in SWAP.HIVE = + 20 SWAP.HIVE
• valore in dollari: + 41.52$

## Il valore dei miei token CROP

I token CROP sono i token nativi di Dcrops e sono anche token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive e come tali possono essere comprati e venduti sui mercati di Hive Engine/TribalDex/LeoDEX.

I token CROP sono anche la ricompensa stagionale per il posizionamento nella Leaderboard di Dcrops.

Nell'ultima stagione conclusa mi sono dimenticato di vendere i prodotti agricoli e quindi il totale dei token CROP in mio possesso è rimasto identico all'inizio della stagione precedente: 6382.952 token CROP.

Il 27 gennaio 6382.952 token CROP avevano un valore di 11.84 SWAP.HIVE = 10.43$.

Oggi 11 febbraio, dopo 14 giorni, 6382.952 token CROP hanno un valore di 14.10 SWAP.HIVE = 15.79$

### Holding Rewards

Oltre alla Leaderboard su Dcrops c'è un secondo meccanismo per ricompensare i giocatori che hanno un un punteggio CROP POWER superiore a 20000 punti. Il mio punteggio CROP POWER è di 46958.90 punti e grazie a questo punteggio ricevo ogni giorno una ricompensa in token HIVE liquidi.

Il valore dell'ultima ricompensa che ho ricevuto da Dcrops è stato di 0.098 HIVE (My share: 0.1448%).

Fino ad oggi ho ricevuto in totale 14.78 HIVE dalla classifica Holding Rewards di Dcrops.

Fino ad oggi, 11 febbraio 2021, ho investito nel gioco di Dcrops 156.57 HIVE: La mia collezione di carte ha un valore totale di 233.19 SWAP.HIVE (valore stimato) I 20 pacchi di carte Alpha in mio possesso hanno un valore di 100 HIVE Dalla classifica Holding Rewards ho ricevuto un valore totale di 14.78 HIVE Il valore dei token CROP in mio possesso è di 14.10 SWAP.HIVE.

In circa 8 mesi e mezzo ho investito 156.57 token HIVE in Dcrops e ho ottenuto un profitto di 205.50 HIVE = 230.16$

Al profitto di 205.50 token HIVE corrisponde un ROI di +131.25%

## Considerazioni Finali

Negli ultimi 14 giorni il mio investimento su Dcrops è aumentato di valore perchè sono aumentati sia il mio profitto che il ROI.

Sono soddisfatto del risultato finanziario che ho ottenuto fino ad ora dalla mia attività di gioco/investimento su Dcrops. In 8 mesi e mezzo ho ottenuto un ROI del 131.25% e un profitto di 205.50 HIVE.
