EASTER EVENT is LIVE!: An Amazing and Fun Promotion by dCrops (ENG/ITA)

I started investing and playing on dCrops at the end of May 2021 and thus was among the first to play in this gaming project built and developed on the most beautiful blockchain there is: Hive!

I generally write and publish a post about my gaming activity on dCrops once every 15 days, between the end of a season and the beginning of the new season.

Today I change my usual posting habit because the beautiful Easter Event promotion started two days ago, and today I want to share my thoughts and the strategy I chose to follow for this promotion.

I really liked the previous Christmas promotion organized by dCrops because it was a fun promotion and also very profitable.

In a previous post of mine, I calculated the Profit and ROI I got from participating in the XMas Event promotion:

• Profit: $18.62
• ROI: +253.365%

The new Easter Event promotion is very similar to the previous XMas Event promotion and has the same mechanism for participation and prize distribution.

Accessing the Easter Event promotion page is very simple because you just need to click on EASTER EVENT in the dCrops menu as indicated by the arrow in the following image.

Like the previous XMas Event promotion, the Easter Event promotion also offers two modes of participation:

• one mode of participation completely free
• an additional mode of participation that has a registration cost of 5000 CROP tokens

All dCrops players can participate in the Easter Event promotion simply by completing game activities. Each game activity is assigned a score in Easter Eggs (see image below).

With Easter Eggs points you can buy different items from the EVENT SHOP section.

There are also some other more valuable items in the EVENT SHOP, but they can only be purchased using Golden Tickets.

The Golden Tickets can only be found within the Golden EGGs. The probability of finding 1 Golden Ticket inside a Golden Egg is 20%.

Golden Eggs can be:

• purchased in the event shop using Easter Egg points: 250 Easter Eggs per Golden Egg.

• received as gifts from other players through participation in the paid mode of the Easter Event promotion: enter in the Easter Bunny's team.

Entering the Easter Bunny's team has a one-time and initial cost of 5000 CROP tokens.

Entering Easter Bunny's team allows you to:

• send 3 gifts per day to 3 randomly chosen dCrops players.
• receive gifts from other players.

The ability to send and receive gifts (Easter Eggs) is in my opinion the coolest and most fun part of the Easter Event promotion.

Today, when I discovered that the Easter Event promotion had already started two days ago, I didn't have a moment's hesitation and immediately entered the Easter Bunny team.

I first sent 5000 CROP from my in-game Wallet to my wallet on Hive Engine and then clicked on Get Involved - Help the Easter Bunny

I also immediately sent the first Daily Gifts by clicking Send Daily Gifts

I will be able to send 3 free gifts again when the counter reaches the value 0h:00m:00s

In the screenshot below you can see what is possible to find inside the Golden Eggs and the relative probabilities.

It is also possible to send NFTs to other players via the @dcrops.event account or it is possible to purchase Golden Eggs to send to other players, and both of these generous actions earn points for the Easter Raffle which has attractive prizes.

## My strategy for the Easter Event

For the past 6 seasons of dCrops, I chose not to sell crops in my inventory because I wanted to sell them during the current promotion so that I could earn more Easter egg points.

My inventory has a value of 19312 points Shares.

My strategy for the Easter Event will be the following:

• I will store only 12 crops for each crop type and crop rarity to have a chance to complete the seasonal quests easily.
• I will sell all other crops to get the most Ester Eggs points that I will use to buy Golden Eggs from the Event Shop.
• I will send 50% of the Golden Eggs I buy from the shop to other players to increase my score in the Easter Raffle while the other 50% I will open.

I will use all Golden Tickets to purchase NFTs in the Shop and my first goal is the Fairy Garden NFT because I have no legendary NFT land in my collection.

Will it be worthwhile to participate in the Easter Event promotion?

To answer this question I will make a simple evaluation comparing the costs and possible revenues...

Important Note: My calculations and simulations are not financial advice!

Entering the Easter Bunny's team has a cost of 5000 CROP whose current market value is:

• 18.35 HIVE = $7.7988 (Highest Bid Value)
• 21.85 HIVE = $9.2863 (Lowest Ask Value)

The probability of finding a Golden Ticket in a Golden Egg is 20% and this means that if I receive an average of 3 Golden Eggs per day in 28 days I will have received a total of 84 Golden Eggs with an average probability of finding 16.8 Golden Tickets and only from the daily gifts I receive and without considering the Easter Eggs I will buy from the shop and open.

With 16 Golden Tickets I could purchase for example:

• 1 Fairy Garden (15 Golden tickets).

Fairy Garden is a legendary Land type NFT and if I consider as a possible future market value 55 SWAP.HIVE which is the value of the Land card that has the lowest price for sale in the market today I get an estimated profit higher than 30 SWAP.HIVE** (55 SWAP.HIVE - 21.85 SWAP.HIVE).

Alternatively with 16 Golden Tickets I could purchase:

• 4 Alpha Packs (12 Golden tickets).
• 2 Beta Packs (4 Golden tickets).

Considering the market value (highest BID) of the Alpha (7.70 SWAP.HIVE per pack) and Beta (5 SWAP.HIVE per pack) packs, I could obtain an estimated profit of just under 20 SWAP.HIVE.

With two simple calculations I explained to you why I decided to spend 5000 CROP immediately to enter the Easter Bunny's Team ;)

Easter Event: Una bella e divertente promozione!

Ho iniziato ad investire e a giocare su dCrops a fine maggio 2021 e quindi sono stato tra i primi giocatori a credere in questo progetto di gioco costruito e sviluppato sulla blockchain più bella che c'è: Hive!

Generalmente scrivo e pubblico un post sulla mia attività di gioco su dCrops una volta ogni 15 giorni tra la fine di una stagione e l'inizio della nuova stagione.

Oggi cambio la mia consueta abitudine di pubblicazione perchè è iniziata da due giorni la promozione Easter Event a cui dedico questo mio post.

La precedente promozione natalizia organizzata da dCrops mi è piaciuta davvero tanto perchè è stata una promozione divertente e anche molto profittevole.

In un mio precedente post ho calcolato il Profit e il ROI che ho ottenuto partecipando alla promozione XMas Event:

• Profit: 18.62$
• ROI: +253.365%

La nuova promozione Easter Event è davvero molto simile alla precedente promozione XMas Event e ha lo stesso meccanismo di partecipazione e di distribuizione dei premi.

Accedere alla pagina della promozione Easter Event è molto semplice perchè è sufficiente cliccare su EASTER EVENT nel menu di dCrops come indicato dalla freccia nell'immagine seguente.

Come la precedente promozione XMas Event anche la promozione Easter Event offre due modalità di partecipazione:

• una modalità di partecipazione completamente gratuita
• una modalità di partecipazione aggiuntiva a quella gratuita che ha un costo di 5000 CROP tokens

Tutti i giocatori di dCrops possono partecipare alla promozione Easter Event semplicemente completando le attività di gioco. Ad ogni attività di gioco è assegnato un punteggio in Easter Eggs (vedi immagine seguente).

Con i punti Easter Eggs è possibile acquistare diversi items dalla sezione EVENT SHOP

Nell'EVENT SHOP ci sono anche degli altri items di maggior valore che però possono essere acquistati solo utilizzando i Golden Tickets.

I Golden Tickets possono essere trovati solo all'interno dei Golden EGG. La probabilità di trovare 1 Golden Ticket all'interno di un Golden Egg è del 20%.

I Golden Egg possono essere:

• acquistati nell'event shop utilizzando i punti Easter Egg: 250 Easter Egg per Golden Egg.

• ricevuti come regalo da parte di altri giocatori tramite la partecipazione alla modalità a pagamento della promozione Easter Event: entrare nella Easter Bunny's team.

Entrare nella Easter Bunny's team ha un costo unico e iniziale di 5000 CROP tokens. Entrare nella Easter Bunny's team permette di:

• inviare 3 regali al giorno a 3 giocatori di dCrops scelti in modo casuale
• ricevere regali dagli altri giocatori

La possibilità di inviare e ricevere regali (Easter Eggs) è secondo me la parte più bella e divertente della promozione Easter Event. Oggi, quando ho scoperto che la promozione Easter Event era già iniziata da due giorni non ho avuto un attimo di esitazione e mi sono subito iscritto al team di Easter Bunny.

Ho prima inviato 5000 CROP dal mio in-game Wallet al mio wallet su Hive Engine e poi ho cliccato su Get Involved - Help the Easter Bunny

Ho inviato subito anche i primi Daily Gifts cliccando su Send Daily Gifts

Potrò inviare nuovamente 3 free gifts quando il contatore arriverà al valore 0h:00m:00s

Nello screenshot seguente puoi vedere cosa è possibile trovare all'interno dei Golden Eggs e le relative probabilità.

E' inoltre possibile inviare NFTs ad altri giocatori tramite l'account @dcrops.event oppure è possibile acquistare Golden Eggs da inviare ad altri giocatori e tutte e due queste generose azioni permettono di guadagnare punti per l'Easter Raffle che ha degli interessanti premi.

## La mia strategia per l'Easter Event

Nelle ultime 6 stagioni di dCrops ho scelto di non vendere i crops nel mio inventario perchè volevo venderli durante la promozione attualmente in corso in modo da guadagnare un maggior numero di punti Easter egg.

Il mio inventario ha un valore di 19312 punti Shares.

La mia strategia per l'Easter Event sarà la seguente:

• Conserverò 12 crops per ogni tipologia di crop e per ogni rarità di crop per avere la possibilità di completare le quests stagionali facilmente.
• Venderò tutti gli altri crops per ottenere il maggior numero di punti Ester Eggs che utilizzerò per acquistare i Golden Eggs dall'Event Shop.
• Il 50% dei Golden Eggs che acquisterò dallo shop li invierò agli altri giocatori per aumentare il mio punteggio nella Easter Raffle mentre l'altro 50% li aprirò.

Utilizzerò tutti i Golden Tickets per acquistare gli NFTs presenti nello Shop e il mio primo obiettivo è l'NFT Fairy Garden perchè nella mia collezione non ho NFT land leggendarie.

Conviene partecipare alla promozione Easter Event?

Per rispondere a questa domanda farò una semplice valutazione confrontando i costi e i possibili ricavi...

Entrare nella Easter Bunny's team ha un costo di 5000 CROP il cui valore attuale di mercato è di:

• 18.35 HIVE = 7.7988$ (Highest Bid Value)
• 21.85 HIVE = 9.2863$ (Lowest Ask Value)

La probabilità di trovare un Golden Ticket in un Golden Egg è del 20% e questo significa che se riceverò in media 3 Golden Eggs al giorno in 28 giorni avrò ricevuto un totale di 84 Golden Eggs con una probabilità media di trovare 16.8 Golden Tickets e solo dai daily gifts ricevuti e senza considerare gli Easter Eggs che acquisterò dallo shop e che aprirò.

Fairy Garden è un NFT di tipo Land leggendario e se considero come possibile valore di mercato futuro 55 SWAP.HIVE che è il valore della carta Land che ha il prezzo più basso in vendita sul mercato oggi ottengo un profitto stimato superiore ai 30 SWAP.HIVE (55 SWAP.HIVE - 21.85 SWAP.HIVE).

In alternativa con 16 Golden Tickets potrei aquistare:

• 4 Alpha Packs (12 Golden tickets)
• 2 Beta Packs (4 Golden tickets)

Considerando il valore di mercato (highest BID) dei pacchi Alpha (7.70 SWAP.HIVE per pacco) e Beta (5 SWAP.HIVE per pacco) potrei ottenere un profitto stimato di poco inferiore a 20 SWAP.HIVE.

Ecco spiegato con due semplici calcoli il motivo per cui ho deciso di spendere immediatamente 5000 CROP per entrare nella Easter Bunny's Team ;)
