Hello hivers and Splinterlands players, Today 28 February 2021 another season of Splinterlands came to an end. It was a disappointing season for two reasons:

• I didn't reach the goal I had set for myself: to make it to the Champion III league.
• I didn't find anything exceptional in the chests.

I finished the season in the Diamond II league and therefore not only didn't reach my goal but also worsened my result from the end of the previous season where I finished in the Diamond I league. My final rating was 3079 points compared to 3458 points in the previous season. With this score I was placed at the number 277 of the Diamond ranking.

The almost 400 fewer rating points than in the previous season are the result of fewer battle victories. In fact, this past season I completed 281 battles (8 less than the previous season) but only got 152 wins (23 less than the previous season).

My winrate was 54.09%.

This winrate is also lower than my total winrate which is 55.04%.

In order to increase my power score on the last day before the end of the season, I rented 15 cards from the market at https://peakmonsters.com/

The cards I rented are as follows:

• Gloridax Magus, Untamed, Level 4
• Diamond Dragon, Untamed, Level 3
• Angel of Light, Beta, Level 4
• The Kraken, Reward, Level 4
• Elemental Phoenix, Beta, Level 3

• Crypt Mancer, Beta, Level 3
• Lyanna Nature, Beta, Level 7

As soon as the season ended, I stopped all contracts with a duration of more than 1 day. The rental cost me a total of $0,44.

*** # Goal for the current season *** In the recently finished season I did not reach the rating of 3700 points to enter the Champion III league. I also had a lot to do yesterday and didn't have much time to try to reach my goal. When I sat down in front of my computer there were only a few hours left until the end of the season. Despite the disappointing result of this season I decided to try again to reach the **Champion III league** in the season that has just started. Reaching the Champion III league would be a great satisfaction.

The reward for finishing the season in the Diamond II league corresponds to a total of 50 chests.

In the following picture you can see the cards I found in the chests.

*** I found **17 cards** out of **50 chests**. The chests can contain three types of rewards: **Cards, DECs, Potions**. The probability of finding a card in each chest is 1/3, so I was neither lucky nor unlucky because I got 17 cards instead of the average 16,66 that are probably there.

However, I was very unlucky because of the type and value of the cards found.

I found 13 common cards, 3 rare cards and 1 epic card. The most valuable card I found is Torhilo the Frozen which has a market value of $0.214 and a DEC conversion value of 200.

Torhilo the Frozen is a card that has a good conversion value to DEC relative to its price and is therefore useful for increasing the value of the power score but is a card that I very rarely use.

In my card collection I now have:

• 1 card Torhilo the Frozen level 3 (10 BCX)
• 2 level 1 Torhilo the Frozen cards

Torhilo the Frozen becomes a bit more useful when he reaches level 4 and gets the Last Stand ability, so I need 8 more cards for level 4.

The total value of the cards I found in the chests is $0,670.

DEC and Potions

I also found 12 Potions and a total of 1699 DEC tokens.

Today February 28, 2021, 1699 DEC equals the value of 3,29 HIVE (Highest BID on LeoDex/HiveEngine)

Looking at the graph in the image below the DEC tokens have lost value since the end of the previous season when 1 DEC was worth 0,0023 HIVE. Today one DEC is worth 0,00194 HIVE.

. Differently from the previous season where the dollar value of 1 DEC had increased, this season it has decreased. In fact, on February 1, I found a total of 176 DEC in the chests with a value of **$0,11**. On February 15, 176 DEC had a value of **$0,13**. Today, February 28, 176 DEC have a value of **$0,10**.

I'll do some calculations now:

• total cost of card rental: 0,44 $
• value of cards found in chests: 0,670 $
• total value of DEC tokens found in the chests: 0,97 $

The total reward was - $0,44 + $0,670 + $0,97 = $1,2.

A somewhat disappointing reward although slightly higher in value than the previous season. I was luckier with the DEC total found and less so with the cards found in the chests but even though my end of season reward wasn't the best, Splinterlands is a fun game that rewards its players for playing.

**What traditional, centralised game rewards you for playing?** The answer is obvious: ## **none!**

Considerazioni sulla fine di Stagione + Ricompensa di fine Stagione

Ciao hivers e giocatori di Splinterlands, Oggi 28 febbraio 2021 è terminata un'altra stagione di Splinterlands. E' stata una stagione deludente per due motivi:

• Non ho raggiunto l'obbiettivo che mi ero prefissato: arrivare in lega Champion III
• Nei forzieri non ho trovato nulla di eccezionale.

Ho concluso la stagione in lega Diamond II e quindi non solo non ho raggiunto il mio obbiettivo ma ho anche peggiorato il risultato ottenuto alla fine della precedente stagione dove ero arrivato in lega Diamond I. Il mio rating finale è stato di 3079 punti contro i 3458 punti della precedente stagione. Con questo punteggio mi sono posizionato al posto numero 277 della classifica Diamond.

I quasi 400 punti di rating in meno rispetto alla precedente stagione sono il risultato di un minore numero di vittorie in battaglia. Infatti in quest'ultima stagione ho completato 281 battaglie (8 in meno della precedente stagione) ma ho ottenuto solo 152 vittorie (23 in meno rispetto alla precedente stagione).

Il mio winrate è stato del 54,09%

Questo winrate è inferiore anche al mio winrate totale che è del 55,04%.

Appena conclusa la stagione ho interrotto tutti i contratti con una durata maggiore di 1 giorno. Il noleggio mi è costato in totale di 0.44$

Obbiettivo per la stagione in corso

Nella stagione da poco conclusa non ho raggiunto il punteggio di rating di 3700 punti per accedere alla lega Champion III. C'è anche da dire che ieri ho avuto molti impegni e non ho avuto molto tempo per cercare di raggiungere il mio obbiettivo. Quando mi sono seduto davanti al mio computer mancavano poche ore alla fine della stagione. Nonostante il risultato deludente di questa stagione ho deciso di provare nuovamente a raggiungere la lega Champion III nella stagione appena iniziata. Raggiungere la lega Champion III sarebbe una bella soddisfazione.

Il premio per chi termina la stagione in lega Diamond II corrisponde ad un totale di 50 forzieri.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le carte che ho trovato nei forzieri.

*** Ho trovato **17 carte** su **50 forzieri**. I forzieri possono contenere tre tipologie di premi: **Carte, DEC, Pozioni**. La probabilità di trovare una carta in ogni forziere è di 1/3 e quindi non sono stato ne fortunato e ne sfortunato perchè ho 17 carte invece delle 16,66 mediamente probabili.

Sono stato però molto sfortunato per il tipo e il valore delle carte trovate.

Ho trovato 13 carte comuni, 3 carte rare e 1 carta epica. La carta di maggior valore che ho trovato è Torhilo the Frozen che ha un valore sul mercato di 0,214 $ e un valore di conversione in DEC di 200.

Torhilo the Frozen è una carta che ha un buon valore di conversione in DEC rispetto al suo prezzo e quindi è utile per aumentare il valore del punteggio power ma è una carta che utilizzo molto raramente.

Nella mia collezione di carte ho adesso:

• 1 carta Torhilo the Frozen di livello 3 (10 BCX)
• 2 carte Torhilo the Frozen di livello 1

Torhilo the Frozen diventa una carta molto più utile quando raggiunge il livello 4 e acquisisce l'abilità Last Stand e quindi mi mancano altre 8 carte per il livello 4.

Il valore totale delle carte che ho trovato all'interno dei forzieri è di 0,670 $

DEC e Pozioni

Ho trovato anche 12 Pozioni e un totale di 1699 token DEC.

Guardando il grafico dell'immagine seguente i token DEC hanno perso valore rispetto alla fine della stagione precedente quando 1 DEC valeva 0.0023 HIVE. Oggi un DEC vale 0,00194 HIVE.

A differenza della precedente stagione dove il valore in dollari di 1 DEC era cresciuto, in questa stagione è sceso. Infatti il 1 Febbraio ho trovato nei forzieri un totale di 176 DEC il cui valore era di **0,11$**. Il 15 febbraio 176 DEC avevano un valore di **0,13$**. Oggi 28 febbraio 176 DEC hanno un valore di **0,10$**

Adesso faccio un po di calcoli:

• costo totale noleggio carte: 0,44 $
• valore carte trovate nei forzieri: 0,670 $
• valore totale dei token DEC trovati nei forzieri: 0,97 $

Il profitto totale è stato di - 0,44 $ + 0,670 $ + 0,97 $ = 1,2 $.

Una ricompensa un pò deludente anche se leggermente superiore di valore rispetto alla stagione precedente. Sono stato più fortunato con il totale dei DEC trovati e meno con le carte trovate nei forzieri ma anche se la mia ricompensa di fine stagione non è stata tra le migliori, Splinterlands è un gioco divertente che premia i suoi giocatori per giocare.

**Quale gioco tradizionale e centralizzato ti premia per giocare?** La risposta è ovvia: ## **nessuno!**
