Today is Wednesday and it is the day when, for the past several weeks, I have been publishing a post on the game Farming Tales through which I update my readers on the news and development progress that has occurred in the previous seven days and at the same time share the financial results of the investment made by OneUp Cartel on Farming Tales, an investment that OneUp Cartel has decided to entrust management to me.

But before I get into the main topics of this post, I want to provide a brief introduction about Farming Tales for readers who are not familiar with this game.

## What is Farming Tales? ### (Brief Introduction)

Farming Tales is an NFT-based farming simulator built and developed on the WAX blockchain. I decided to start playing and investing in Farming Tales because I saw peculiarities in this game that many other blockchain-based farming games don't have:

• Farming Tales has beautiful graphics and uses a 3D graphics engine.
• Farming Tales has some NFT that are linked to real goods from real farms (saffron, honey,...).

Another point in favor of Farming Tales over other farming games is that it chose my beloved Hive to:

• post game-related updates (account: @farmingtales).

• organize contests to incentivize its players to sign up and post content on Hive's blockchain.

In addition, Farming Tales' roadmap also includes a future goal to integrate on Hive blockchain (Q3 - 2022).

_{Source: Whitepaper of FarmingTales} ## Farming Tales News Currently Farming Tales is a "**single player**" game, each player has his or her own farm in which all production elements such as animals, stables, and vegetable gardens are NFT. The Farming Tale development team is working on implementing a **multiplayer game mode** that will allow players to have a common game zone, the **New Waxchester**, in which to interact. sell and trade farm products. As communicated recently by lykos on the " Announcements" channel on the Farming Tales Discord server, development of New Waxchester is well underway, much progress has been made, and so the lead time should be relatively short.

In New Waxchester there will be buildings represented by unique NFTs owned exclusively by individual players. So far, 7 buildings in New Waxchester have been sold, and two days ago the auction of the eighth building began: the Tailor.

The auction sale of the NFT Tailor will end on May 19, 2022 at 17:01:01 UTC.

At the time of writing, the best purchase offer is 1010000 SEST tokens whose dollar value is $464.80 (=393939 WAX).

In the image below you can see the previous seven NFTs from New Waxchester whose sale was completed in the previous weeks with an indication of the final purchase price in terms of SEST tokens and the corresponding current value in dollars and WAX.

The second Crafting Event of weekly duration ended on May 15, 2022. Prizes were awarded to players who purchased the largest number of NFT Stables from the in-game market using SEST tokens as the payment method.

For the current Crafting Event, the participation rules have been changed and the event theme has been removed so all purchases made from the in-game Market section will be considered without any limitation regarding the type of NFTs purchased.

In the following image you can see the prizes that the top three finishers of the week will receive.

## WAX, SEST and CBIT Market Value Considerations The overall situation in the cryptocurrency market is that of the **Bear Market**, and the value of the blockchain token on which Farming Tales runs is slightly lower than it was 7 days ago.

As you can see from the tables and calculations in the image below, the dollar value of the WAX token has lost 6.90% of its value in 7 days from a value of $0.126743 on May 11, 2022 to its current value of** $0.118**.

On the other hand, the dollar value of SEST and CBIT tokens is recovering slightly, registering +3.74% and +0.36% respectively.

## OneUp Cartel Investment Update

My gaming/investment activity on Farming Tales is double because I play two roles:

• I am a simple player who has decided to invest in the purchase of NFT and tokens
• I am a operator of the Cartel project of the beautiful community called OneUp.

OneUp is a community of the Hive blockchain focused on NFT games and blockchain games.

OneUp Cartel is a project of the OneUp community and is: - a Meta Gaming Guild - a Meta Curation - a Meta Dividend Token

I have been managing OneUp Cartel's investment in Farming Tales since January 29, 2022, and today, May 18, 2022, 109 days have passed.

OneUp Cartel invested in the Farming Tales project in two successive times:

• First investment: 500 HBD (January 29, 2022)
• Second investment: 250 WAX (March 1, 2022)

From the conversion of HBD tokens to WAX tokens, I obtained 1583 WAX tokens, which when added to the second investment of 250 WAX produced a total of 1833 WAX tokens.

1833 WAX tokens is therefore the ttal amount of tokens I had available to invest in Farming Tales.

I used the 1833 WAX tokens in the following ways:

• Purchase of NFT: 1585.59 WAX
• Purchase of WAX Resources (CPU,RAM,NET): 51.54 WAX
• Purchase of 14970 SEST tokens: 195.00 WAX
• Cost of trading on Alcor Exchange: 0.87 WAX

In the last week, I continued to accumulate game rewards and also sold some Seed Box type NFTs.

## VALUE ASSETS + REWARDS

The value of OneUp Cartel's collection of NFTs

In the table below you can see the list of NFTs owned by OneUp Cartel with an indication:

• of the purchase prices
• of the payment method used
• of the current market prices on AtomicHub/NeftyBlocks
• of the difference between purchase price and current market value for each NFT purchased.

Compared to seven days ago, the value in WAX of some NFTs has decreased while for others it has increased. However, the value of OneUp Cartel's collection of NFTs remained almost the same as the previous week even though I recorded a small decrease in value. The value of the difference between the total cost of purchase and the total market value of the NFT collection after two weeks in the positive returns to a slight negative: -1.99$ -16.90 WAX -1.09% (previous report: + $3.35 +26.40 WAX +1.70%)

## Profit and ROI

In the image below you can see the prospectus I created to synthetically and immediately monitor the investment on Farming Tales that I manage for OneUp Cartel.

Considering the investment in terms of WAX tokens, the financial results (Profit and ROI) are positive and improving from the previous week: Profit: +203.03 WAX = +23.96$ (Previous Profit report: +174.53 WAX = +22.12$) ROI: +11.08% (ROI previous report: +9.52%)

On the other hand, if I take as starting point the dollar value of the initial investment the results are not positive but negative.

In fact when I converted the 500 HBDs I received from OneUp Cartel into WAX tokens I had also managed to make an initial profit. On January 29, 2022 1583 WAX tokens were worth $501.

Today as a result of the Bear Market 1583 WAX are worth $186.79 and 1833 WAX which is the total of WAX tokens I had available to invest are worth $216.

If I consider the dollar value of OneUp Cartel's initial investments on the dates they were used and invested in Farming Tales the financial results become negative as you can see from the calculations in the following image.

But the Bear Market will have to end sooner or later, and if the value of WAX tokens returns to hover around the value of $0.30 the financial results will be definitely positive.

## My investment plan on Farming Tales (Update).

It has been less than 4 months since I started as an operator for OneUp Cartel on Farming Tales, and right now I think the best strategy to follow is to continue to collect game rewards (SEST and CBIT) while waiting for the value of WAX tokens to return to what it was before the start of the Bear Market:

• $0.29 (April 14, 2022)
• $0.39 (April 2, 2022)

In my personal evaluation using and investing WAX tokens now I do not think it is the right choice and therefore I will not use liquid WAX tokens.

In the next 7 days my strategy that I will follow will be the same as I have applied in the previous 7 days:

• I will continue to accumulate game rewards (SEST and CBIT) through Harvest operations
• I will continue to sell the NFT SeedBoxes produced daily by the NFT Green House in exchange for WAX tokens
• I will continue to evaluate possible and potentially profitable trading operations on tokens and NFTs.

Le Novità su Farming Tales, Considerazioni sul Valore dei token WAX, SEST e CBIT + l'Investimento di OneUp Cartel: Report N.15

Oggi è mercoledì ed è il giorno in cui, da diverse settimane a questa parte, pubblico un post sul gioco Farming Tales tramite il quale aggiorno i miei lettori sulle novità e sui progressi di sviluppo avvenuti nei precedenti sette giorni e allo stesso tempo condivido i risultati finanziari dell'investimento effettuato da OneUp Cartel su Farming Tales, investimento che OneUp Cartel ha deciso di affidare a me.

Ma prima di entrare nel vivo degli argomenti principali di questo voglio fornire una breve introduzione sul gioco di Farming Tales per i lettori che non conoscono questo gioco.

Cos'è Farming Tales?

(Breve Introduzione)

**Farming Tales** è un simulatore di farming basato su NFT costruito e sviluppato sulla blockchain **WAX**. Ho deciso di iniziare a giocare e ad investire su Farming Tales perchè ho visto delle particolarità in questo gioco che molti altri giochi di farming basati su blockchain non hanno: - Farming Tales ha una **bella grafica** e utilizza un **motore grafico 3D** - Farming Tales ha alcuni **NFT** che sono **collegati a beni reali di reali fattorie** (zafferano, miele,...).

Un'altro punto a favore di Farming Tales rispetto ad altri giochi di farming è che ha scelto la mia amata Hive per:

• pubblicare aggiornamenti relativi al gioco (account: @farmingtales).

• organizzare dei contest per incentivare i suoi giocatori ad iscriversi e a pubblicare contenuti sulla blockchain di Hive.

Inoltre il team di sviluppo di Farming Tales ha tra i suoi obiettivi futuri anche quello di integrarsi sulla blockchain di Hive (Q3 - 2022).

Al momento Farming Tales è un gioco "single player", ogni giocatore ha la sua fattoria in cui tutti gli elementi di produzione come animali, stalle e orti sono NFT. Il team di sviluppo di Farming Tale sta lavorando all'implementazione della modalità di gioco multiplayer che permetterà ai giocatori di avere una zona di gioco comune, la New Waxchester, in cui interagire. vendere e scambiare i prodotti agricoli. Come comunicato di recente da lykos sul canale "Annuncements" sul server Discord di Farming Tales, lo sviluppo della New Waxchester è a buon punto, sono stati fatti molti progressi e quindi il tempo di attesa dovrebbe essere relativamente breve.

Nella New Waxchester ci saranno degli edifici rappresentati da NFT unici di proprietà esclusiva di singoli giocatori. Fino ad ora sono stati venduti 7 edifici della New Waxchester e due giorni fa è iniziata la vendita all'asta dell'ottavo edificio: il Tailor.

La vendita all'asta dell'NFT Tailor si concluderà il 19 maggio 2022 alle ore 17:01:01 UTC.

Nel momento in cui sto scrivendo la migliore offerta di acquisto è di 1010000 token SEST il cui valore in dollari è di 464.80$ (=3939 WAX).

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere i precendenti sette NFT della New Waxchester la cui vendita è stata completata nelle precedenti settimane con l'indicazione del prezzo finale di acquisto in termini di token SEST e il corrispondente attuale valore in dollari e WAX.

Il 15 maggio 2022 è terminato il secondo Crafting Event di durata settimanale. Sono stati premiati i giocatori che hanno acquistato il maggiore numero di NFT Stable dal mercato interno al gioco utilizzando i token SEST come metodo di pagamento.

Per il Crafting Event in corso sono state modificate le regole di partecipazione ed è stato rimosso il tema dell'evento e quindi saranno considerati tutti gli acquisti effettuati dalla sezione Market interna al gioco senza nessuna limitazione relativa alla tipologia degli NFTs acquistati.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere i premi che riceveranno i primi tre classificati della settimana.

## WAX, SEST and CBIT Market Value Considerations

La situazione generale del mercato delle crittovalute è quella del Bear Market e il valore del token della blockchain su cui funziona Farming Tales è leggermente inferiore a quello registrato 7 giorni fa.

Come puoi vedere dalle tabelle e dai calcoli presenti nell'immagine seguente il valore in dollari del token WAX ha perso il 6.90% del suo valore in 7 giorni passando da un valore di 0.126743$ dell'11 maggio 2022 al valore attuale di** 0.118$**.

E' invece in leggero recupero il valore in dollari dei token SEST e dei token CBIT che fanno registrare rispettivamente un +3.74% e un +0.36%.

## OneUp Cartel Investment Update: Report #15

La mia attività di gioco/investimento su Farming Tales è duplice perchè svolgo due ruoli:

• sono un semplice giocatore che ha deciso di investire nell'acquisto di NFT e tokens
• sono un operatore del progetto Cartel della bellissima comunità della blockchain di Hive che si chiama OneUp.

Gestisco l'investimento di OneUp Cartel su Farming Tales dal 29 gennaio 2022 e oggi 18 maggio 2022 sono passati 109 giorni.

OneUp Cartel ha investito nel progetto di Farming Tales in due momenti successivi:

• Primo investimento: 500 HBD (29 gennaio 2022)
• Secondo investimento: 250 WAX (1 marzo 2022)

Dalla conversione dei token HBD in token WAX ho ottenuto 1583 token WAX che sommati al secondo investimento di 250 WAX hanno prodotto un totale di 1833 token WAX. 1833 token WAX è quindi il toltale di token che ho avuto a disposizione per investire su Farming Tales.

Ho utilizzato i 1833 token WAX nel seguente modo:

• Acquisto di NFT: 1585.59 WAX
• Acquisto di Risorse WAX (CPU): 51.54 WAX
• Acquisto di 14970 token SEST: 195.00 WAX

Nell'ultima settimana ho continuato ad accumulare le ricompense di gioco e ho anche venduto alcuni NFT di tipo Seed Box.

## VALUE ASSETS + REWARDS

Il valore della collezione di NFT di OneUp Cartel

Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere l'elenco degli NFT di proprietà di OneUp Cartel con l'indicazione:

• dei prezzi di acquisto
• del metodo di pagamento utilizzato
• dei prezzi di mercato attuali su AtomicHub/NeftyBlocks
• della differenza tra prezzo di acquisto e valore attuale di mercato per ogni NFT acquistato.

Rispetto a sette giorni fa il valore in WAX di alcuni NFT è diminuito mentre per altri è aumentato. Il valore della collezione di NFT di OneUp Cartel è comunque rimasto quasi uguale a quello della settimana precedente anche se ho registrato una piccola diminuzione di valore. Il valore della differenza tra il costo totale di acquisto e il valore di mercato totale della collezione di NFT dopo due settimane in positivo torna in leggero negativo: -1.99$ -16.90 WAX -1.09% (report precedente: + 3.35$ +26.40 WAX +1.70%)

## Profit e ROI

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il prospetto che ho creato per monitorare in modo sintetico e immediato l'investimento su Farming Tales che gestisto per OneUp Cartel.

Considerando l'investimento in termini di WAX token i risultati finanziari (Profit e ROI) sono positivi e in miglioramento rispetto alla settimana precedente: Profit: +203.03 WAX = +23.96$ (Profit report precedente: +174.53 WAX = +22.12$) ROI: +11.08% (ROI report precedente: +9.52%)

Se invece prendo come punto di partenza il valore in dollari dell'investimento iniziale i risultati non sono positivi ma negativi.

Infatti quando ho convertito i 500 HBD che ho ricevuto da OneUp Cartel in token WAX ero riuscito a realizzare anche un profitto iniziale. Il 29 gennaio 2022 1583 token WAX valevano 501$

Oggi per effetto del Bear Market 1583 WAX valgono 186.79$ e 1833 WAX che sono il totale dei token WAX che ho avuto a disposizione da investire valgono 216$.

Se considero il valore in dollari degli investimenti iniziali di OneUp Cartel nelle date in cui sono stati utilizzati e investiti su Farming Tales i risultati finanziari diventano negativi come puoi vedere dai calcoli nell'immagine seguente.

Ma il Bear Market dovrà terminare prima o poi e se il valore dei token WAX tornerà ad oscillare intorno al valore di 0.30$ i risultati finanziari saranno decisamente positivi.

## Il mio piano di investimento su Farming Tales (Update)

Sono passati meno di 4 mesi da quando ho iniziato la mia attività di operatore per OneUp Cartel su Farming Tales e in questo momento penso che la strategia migliore da seguire sia quella di continuare a raccogliere le ricompense di gioco (SEST e CBIT) in attesa che il valore dei token WAX torni quello precedente all'inizio del Bear Market:

• 0.29$ (14 aprile 2022)
• 0.39 (2 aprile 2022)

Secondo la mia personale valutazione utilizzare e investire i token WAX adesso non penso sia la scelta giusta e quindi non utilizzerò i token WAX liquidi.

Nei prossimi 7 giorni la mia strategia che seguirò sarà la stessa che ho attuato nei sette giorni precedenti:

• continuerò ad accumulare le ricompense di gioco (SEST e CBIT) tramite le operazioni di Harvest
• continuerò a vendere gli NFT SeedBox prodotti giornalmente dall'NFT Green House in cambio di token WAX
• continuerò a valutare possibili e potenzialmente profittevoli operazioni di trading su token ed NFT.
