Farming Tales News, Considerations on the Value of WAX, SEST and CBIT tokens + OneUp Cartel's Investment: Report No.16
Today is Thursday and I am one day late in publishing my usual weekly post/report on Farming Tales. The many work and family commitments of the past three months have not allowed me to be as active and consistent in publishing content on Hive as I was in the past but writing and interacting on Hive is something I enjoy very much and I hope soon to have more time to get back to my usual rhythms of publishing and interacting. The purpose of my weekly post on the Farming Tales game is to update my readers on the news and development progress that has occurred in the previous seven days and is also to share the financial results of the investment made by the Cartel project on Farming Tales, an investment that Cartel decided to entrust to me on January 29 of this year.
As always and before covering the main topics of this post I want to provide a short introduction about Farming Tales game play for those of my readers who are not familiar with this game.
Farming Tales is an NFT-based farming simulator built and developed on the WAX blockchain. I decided to start playing and investing in Farming Tales because I saw peculiarities in this game that many other blockchain-based farming games don't have:
- Farming Tales has beautiful graphics and uses a 3D graphics engine.
- Farming Tales has some NFT that are linked to real goods from real farms (saffron, honey,...).
Another point in favor of Farming Tales over other farming games is that it chose my beloved Hive to:
- post game-related updates (account: @farmingtales).
- create a community: https://peakd.com/c/hive-151527/created
- organize contests to incentivize its players to sign up and post content on Hive's blockchain.
In addition, Farming Tales' roadmap also includes a future goal to integrate on Hive blockchain (Q3 - 2022).
On May 19, 2022, the eighth New Waxchester building was sold: the Tailor.
All the New Waxchester buildings are NFT in one copy, and the Tailor property was sold to the skyw player through the auction mechanism. The price paid to purchase the NFT Tailor was 2345000 tokens SEST = 10084 WAX = $1283.
Yesterday, May 25, 2022, the auction of New Waxchester's ninth building began: the Fish Market. The best bid is currently 1010000 SEST and the sale will end on May 28, 2022 at 18:00 UTC.
In the image below you can see all nine of New Waxchester's NFTs sold to date with the corresponding final purchase price in terms of SEST tokens and the corresponding value in dollars and WAX based on current quotations.
One of the special features of Farming Tales that got me interested in the project is that there are NFTs linked to real assets of real farms, and the other new features announced on May 24, 2022 are about the real part of Farming Tales. In fact, on May 27 it will be possible to purchase NFT Foraging Bees on Neftyblocks (https://neftyblocks.com/c/farmingtales/). NFT Foraging Bees will allow you to receive 1 kg of organic honey or the equivalent value in SEST tokens. The price will be $10 in WAX for each NFT.
The other news concerns the sale of Hemp Lands which will take place as for NFT Foragin Bees on Neftyblocks starting June 3, 2022 at 19:00 UTC. In the image below you can see the announcement message posted by Farming Tales on Discord.
The latest news concerns the sale of the second type of pets: the Cats. The sale is scheduled for June 10 and more details will be published later.
The general situation in the cryptocurrency market is still that of the Bear Market but compared to seven days ago the value of the blockchain token on which Farming Tales runs (WAX) and the value of the Farming Tales tokens (SEST and CBIT) has improved slightly.
As you can see from the tables and calculations in the image below all the dollar values of the WAX, SEST and CBIT tokens are improving:
- WAX: +1.20%
- SEST: +6.91%
- CBIT: +29.24%
My gaming/investment activity on Farming Tales is double because I play two roles:
- I am a simple player who has decided to invest in the purchase of NFT and tokens
- I am a operator of the Cartel project of the beautiful community called OneUp.
Cartel is: - a Meta Gaming Guild - a Meta Curation - a Meta Dividend Token
I have been managing OneUp Cartel's investment in Farming Tales since January 29, 2022, and today, May 26, 2022, 117 days have passed.
OneUp Cartel invested in the Farming Tales project in two successive times:
- First investment: 500 HBD (January 29, 2022)
- Second investment: 250 WAX (March 1, 2022)
From the conversion of HBD tokens to WAX tokens, I obtained 1583 WAX tokens, which when added to the second investment of 250 WAX produced a total of 1833 WAX tokens.
1833 WAX tokens is therefore the ttal amount of tokens I had available to invest in Farming Tales.
I used the 1833 WAX tokens in the following ways:
- Purchase of NFT: 1585.59 WAX
- Purchase of WAX Resources (CPU,RAM,NET): 51.54 WAX
- Purchase of 14970 SEST tokens: 195.00 WAX
- Cost of trading on Alcor Exchange: 0.87 WAX
The value of the NFT collection of the Cartel project
In the table below you can see the list of NFTs owned by OneUp Cartel with an indication:
- of the purchase prices
- of the payment method used
- of the current market prices on AtomicHub/NeftyBlocks
- of the difference between purchase price and current market value for each NFT purchased.
To calculate the value of the card collection I consider the lowest market sale value at the time I write my report.
The value of the difference between the total purchase cost (in WAX) and the total market value of the NFT collection is like last week in slight negative: -7.46$ -62.48 WAX -4.03% (previous report: -1.99$ -16.90 WAX -1.09%)
In the prospectus the total initial investment cost is the total amount of WAX tokens I had available to invest.
Considering the investment in terms of WAX tokens, the financial results (Profit and ROI) are positive: Profit: +185.73 WAX = +22.18$ (Previous Profit report: +174.53 WAX = +22.12$) ROI: +10.13% (ROI previous report: +9.52%)
I invested a total of 1833 WAX tokens to get a total investment value (Assets + Rewards) of 2018.73 WAX: +174.56 WAX.
If, on the other hand, I take as starting point the dollar value of the initial investment the results are not positive but negative.
In fact when I received the 500 HBD from OneUp Cartel (January 29, 2022) 500 HBD had a value of $487 and I had managed to make even an initial profit by placing BID offete to buy WAX tokens. On January 29, 2022 from the conversion of 500 HBDs I had managed to obtain 1583 WAX tokens whose value was 501$.
In this report I decided to add the following table showing two financial results that take into account:
- the value of the 500 HBD and 250 WAX at the time of their use
- the current value of Cartel's investment in WAX tokens and in dollars.
he data in the above prospectus are important because they make it possible to calculate the value that the WAX token will have to have in order to reach the break-even point. This value gains importance in the future case that Cartel wants to exit the investment or decrease the capital exposure on Farming Tales.
As you can see from the calculations in the following images, the breakeven point can be reached with a WAX token value equal to $0.2412
The strategy I will follow in the coming days will be as follows:
- I will continue to collect game rewards (SEST and CBIT).
- I will continue to sell the NFT Seed Boxes produced daily by the NFT Green House to increase the amount of liquid WAX tokens.
- I will use the liquid WAX tokens only in case of motlo profitable NFT buying opportunities otherwise I will wait for the value of WAX tokens to return to the value before the beginning of the Bear Market:
- $0.29 (April 14, 2022)
- $0.39 (April 2, 2022)
This week I will also sell the CBIT tokens that I do not need to refill the Water Tower and Silo with water and food in exchange for WAX tokens. The reason for my decision is in the value ratio between CBIT tokens and WAX tokens. As you can see from the table below in seven days the CBIT token has gained value relative to the WAX token (+27.71%) and this could be a good trade to increase the value of the investment when and if the WAX token regains its average value prior to the beginning of the Bear Market.

Le Novità su Farming Tales, Considerazioni sul Valore dei token WAX, SEST e CBIT + l'Investimento di OneUp Cartel: Report N.16
Oggi è giovedì e sono in ritardo di un giorno per la pubblicazione del mio ormai usuale post/report settimanale su Farming Tales. I tanti impegni lavorativi e familiari degli ultimi tre mesi non mi hanno permesso di essere attivo e constante nella pubblicazione di contenuti su Hive come lo ero in passato ma scrivere e interagire su Hive è un'attività che mi piace molto e spero presto di avere più tempo per tornare ai miei ritmi abituali di pubblicazione e di interazione. Lo scopo del mio post settimale sul gioco di Farming Tales è quello di aggiornare i miei lettori sulle novità e sui progressi di sviluppo avvenuti nei precedenti sette giorni ed è anche quello di condividere i risultati finanziari dell'investimento effettuato dal progetto Cartel su Farming Tales, investimento che Cartel ha deciso di affidarmi il 29 gennaio di quest'anno.
Come sempre e prima di trattare gli argomenti principali di questo post voglio fornire una breve introduzione sul gioco di Farming Tales per chi dei miei lettori non conosce questo gioco.
Un'altro punto a favore di Farming Tales rispetto ad altri giochi di farming è che ha scelto la mia amata Hive per:
- pubblicare aggiornamenti relativi al gioco (account: @farmingtales).
- creare una comunità: https://peakd.com/c/hive-151527/created
- organizzare dei contest per incentivare i suoi giocatori ad iscriversi e a pubblicare contenuti sulla blockchain di Hive.
Inoltre il team di sviluppo di Farming Tales ha tra i suoi obiettivi futuri anche quello di integrarsi sulla blockchain di Hive (Q3 - 2022).
Farming Tales è un gioco single player in cui ogni giocatore ha la sua fattoria in cui ogni elemento di produzione come animali, stalle, orti sono NFT dal cui utilizzo si ottengono i token SEST ma nel prossimo futuro sarà un gioco multiplayer. Con la futura introduzione dell'aggiornamentoche New Waxchester tutti i giocatori di Farming Tales avranno un'area di gioco comune popolata da edifici rappresentati da NFT e in quest'area potranno interagire tra di loro scambiando e vendendo i prodotti agricoli. Come comunicato il 24 maggio 2022 all'interno del canale "Annuncements" sul server Discord di Farming Tales, lo sviluppo della New Waxchester continua e in questa settimana il team di sviluppo lavorerà per collegare la Unity build attuale al nuovo product system. Se non ci saranno problemi di sviluppo e di implementazione il rilascio della New Waxchester dovrebbe avvenire in poco tempo.
Il 19 maggio 2022 è stato venduto l'ottavo edificio della New Waxchester: il Tailor.
Tutti gli edifici della New Waxchester sono NFT in unica copia e la proprietà del Tailor se l'è aggiudicata il giocatore skyw tramite il meccanismo di vendita all'asta. Il prezzo pagato per l'acquisto dell'NFT Tailor è stato di 2345000 token SEST = 10084 WAX = 1283$.
Ieri 25 maggio 2022 è iniziata la vendita all'asta del nono edificio della New Waxchester: il Fish Market. La migliore offerta di acquisto è al momento di 1010000 SEST e la vendita si concluderà il 28 maggio 2022 alle ore 18:00 UTC.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutti e nove gli NFT della New Waxchester venduti fino ad oggi con il relativo prezzo finale di acquisto in termini di token SEST e il corrispondente valore in dollari e WAX in base alle quotazioni attuali.
Una delle particolarità di Farming Tales che mi ha fatto interessare al progetto è che ci sono NFT collegati a beni reali di reali fattorie e le altre novità annunciate il 24 maggio 2022 riguardano proprio la parte reale di Farming Tales. Infatti il 27 maggio sarà possibile acquistare gli NFT Foraging Bees su Neftyblocks (https://neftyblocks.com/c/farmingtales/). Gli NFT Foraging Bees permetteranno di ricevere 1 Kg di miele organico oppure l'equivalente valore in token SEST. Il prezzo sarà di 10$ in WAX per ogni NFT.
L'altra novità riguarda la vendita delle Hemp Land che avverrà come per gli NFT Foragin Bees su Neftyblocks a partire dal 3 giugno 2022 alle ore 19:00 UTC. Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il messaggio di annuncio pubblicato da Farming Tales su Discord.
L'ultima novità riguarda la vendita della seconda tipologia di animali domestici: i Gatti. La vendita è prevista per il 10 giugno e maggiori dettagli saranno pubblicati in seguito.
Gioco a diversi giochi basati su blockchain e la maggior parte sono giochi sviluppati sulla blockchain di Hive e per ogni gioco mi piace monitorare il valore dei token collegati al gioco con una cadenza almeno settimanale e lo stesso faccio per i token di Farming Tales.
La situazione generale del mercato delle crittovalute è ancora quella del Bear Market ma rispetto a sette giorni fa il valore del token della blockchain su cui funziona Farming Tales (WAX) e il valore dei token di Farming Tales (SEST e CBIT) è leggermente migliorata.
Come puoi vedere dalle tabelle e dai calcoli presenti nell'immagine seguente tutti i valori in dollari dei token WAX, SEST e CBIT sono in miglioramento:
- WAX: +1.20%
- SEST: +6.91%%
- CBIT: +29.24%
La mia attività di gioco/investimento su Farming Tales è duplice perchè svolgo due ruoli:
- sono un semplice giocatore che ha deciso di investire nell'acquisto di NFT e tokens
- sono un operatore del progetto Cartel della bellissima comunità della blockchain di Hive che si chiama OneUp.
OneUp Cartel è un progetto della comunità di OneUp ed è: - una Meta Gaming Guild - una Meta Curation - un Meta Dividend Token
Gestisco l'investimento di OneUp Cartel su Farming Tales dal 29 gennaio 2022 e oggi 26 maggio 2022 sono passati 117 giorni.
OneUp Cartel ha investito nel progetto di Farming Tales in due momenti successivi:
- Primo investimento: 500 HBD (29 gennaio 2022)
- Secondo investimento: 250 WAX (1 marzo 2022)
Dalla conversione dei token HBD in token WAX ho ottenuto 1583 token WAX che sommati al secondo investimento di 250 WAX hanno prodotto un totale di 1833 token WAX. 1833 token WAX è quindi il toltale di token che ho avuto a disposizione per investire su Farming Tales.
Ho utilizzato i 1833 token WAX nel seguente modo:
- Acquisto di NFT: 1585.59 WAX
- Acquisto di Risorse WAX (CPU): 51.54 WAX
- Acquisto di 14970 token SEST: 195.00 WAX
- Costi per operazioni di trading su Alcor Exchange: 0.87 WAX
Il valore della collezione di NFT del progetto Cartel
Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere l'elenco degli NFT di proprietà di Cartel con l'indicazione:
- dei prezzi di acquisto
- del metodo di pagamento utilizzato
- dei prezzi di mercato attuali su AtomicHub/NeftyBlocks
- della differenza tra prezzo di acquisto e valore attuale di mercato per ogni NFT acquistato.
Per calcolare il valore della collezione di carte considero il valore di vendita sul mercato più basso nel momento in cui scrivo il mio report.
Il valore della differenza tra il costo totale di acquisto (in WAX) e il valore di mercato totale della collezione di NFT è come la settimama scorsa in leggero negativo: -7.46$ -62.48 WAX -4.03% (report precedente: -1.99$ -16.90 WAX -1.09%)
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il prospetto che ho creato per monitorare in modo sintetico e immediato l'investimento su Farming Tales che gestisto per il progetto Cartel.
Nel prospetto il totale dei costi di investimento iniziale è il quantitativo totale di token WAX che ho avuto a disposizione da investire.
Considerando l'investimento in termini di WAX token i risultati finanziari (Profit e ROI) sono positivi: Profit: +185.73 WAX = +22.18$ (Profit report precedente: +174.53 WAX = +22.12$) ROI: +10.13% (ROI report precedente: +9.52%)
Ho investito un totale di 1833 token WAX per ottenere un valore totale dell'investimento (Assets + Rewards) di 2018.73 WAX: +174.56 WAX.
Se invece prendo come punto di partenza il valore in dollari dell'investimento iniziale i risultati non sono positivi ma negativi.
Infatti quando ho ricevuto i 500 HBD da OneUp Cartel (29 gennaio 2022) 500 HBD avevano un valore di 487$ ed io ero riuscito a realizzare anche un profitto iniziale piazzando offete BID per acquistare i token WAX. Il 29 gennaio 2022 dalla conversione di 500 HBD ero riuscito ad ottenere 1583 token WAX il cui valore era di 501$.
In questo report ho deciso di aggiungere il prospetto seguente che mostra due risultati finanziari che tengono conto:
- del valore dei 500 HBD e dei 250 WAX al momento del loro utilizzo
- il valore attuale dell'investimento di Cartel in token WAX e in dollari.
I dati nel prospetto precedente sono importanti perchè permettono di calcolare il valore che dovrà avere il token WAX per raggiungere il punto di pareggio. Questo valore acquista importanza nel caso futuro in cui Cartel volesse uscire dall'investimento o diminuire l'esposizione di capitale su Farming Tales.
Come puoi vedere dai calcoli presenti nelle immagini seguente il punto di pareggio è raggiungibile con un valore del token WAX uguale a 0.2412$
La strategia che seguirò nei prossimi giorni sarà la seguente:
- continuerò a raccogliere le ricompense di gioco (SEST e CBIT)
- continuerò a vendere gli NFT Seed Box prodotti giornalmente dall'NFT Green House per aumentare il quantitativo di token WAX liquidi.
- utilizzerò i token WAX liquidi solo in caso di occasioni di acquisto di NFT motlo vantaggiose altrimenti aspetterò che il valore dei token WAX torni quello precedente all'inizio del Bear Market:
- 0.29$ (14 aprile 2022)
- 0.39 (2 aprile 2022)
In questa settimana venderò anche i token CBIT che non mi servono per ricaricare di acqua e cibo la Water Tower e il Silo in cambio di token WAX. Il motivo di questa mia decisione è nel rapporto di valore tra i token CBIT e i token WAX. Come puoi vedere dalla tabella seguente in sette giorni il token CBIT ha acquistato valore rispetto al token WAX (+27.71%) e questa potrebbe essere una buona operazione per aumentare il valore dell'investimento quando e se il token WAX riacquisterà il suo valore medio precedente all'inizio del Bear Market.
