Hello Hivers and Splinterlands players, there are only a few hours left until the end of the current Splinterlands season, and today I wanted to share with my readers my strategy choices for the last day before the end of the season.
My end of season strategy
This season I will try to get back into the Champion league of Splinterlands after a long time and to achieve my goal I will rent some cards from the market of https://peakmonsters.com/.
My starting point is a rating of 2819 points and a power score of 211430 points.
In order to try to get to at least Lega Champion III I have to meet two requirements:
- a rating of at least 3700 points
- a power score of 500000 points
To reach my goal I need to:
- increase my rating score by 881 points (3700-2819)
- increase my power score by 278570 points (500000-221430)
My card rental budget
This season I have decided to increase my card rental budget. In previous seasons of Splinterlands I spent a maximum of $0.5 on card rentals. This season I have decided to double the budget and will therefore be able to spend up to $1 on card rentals.
I made this decision for two reasons:
- Reason number 1: if I rent more cards I have a better chance of reaching Champion League III and if I reach my goal I will receive 50 more chests than my current end-of-season reward of 30 chests (Gold League I).
- Reason number 2: In the last 20 days, the value of Splinterlands cards has increased significantly. In fact, my card collection has seen a huge increase in value: + 239.40%.
The higher the value of the cards, the more advantageous it is to open more chests because opening more chests means finding more cards. The probability of finding a card in a chest is 1/3, so if you get to Champion III and open 50 more chests than in Gold I, you have a probability of finding 16.66 more cards (50/3).
My rental strategy
I mainly rent legendary cards from level 3 onwards because:
- they are cards that have a good conversion value to DEC which is equivalent to producing a high power score.
- they have abilities that are very useful in battle.
Since last season, I've also started renting summoner cards of the highest or penultimate level that I find on the market at a not very high rental cost.
I only rent cards that have a rental contract with the Termination Escrow equal to 0. If the Termination Escrow is equal to 0 I can decide at any time to terminate the rental contract without paying a penalty and at the end of the season I can terminate all current contracts.
The cards I rented
The cards I have rented are:
- Daria Dragonscale, Reward, Level 6
- Mother Khala, Untamed, Level 8
- Zintar Mortalis, Beta, Level 8
- Lyanna Natura, Beta, Level 7
- Alric Stormbringer, Beta, Level 7
- Delwyn Dragonscale, Promo, Level 10
- Angel of Light, Alpha, Level 4
- Lord Arianthus, Reward, Level 3
- Red Dragon, Promo, Level 4
- Sacred Unicorn, Reward, Level 3

As you can see from the image below, the daily cost of the 20 cards I rented is $0.55 while the total and final cost will only be $1.89 if I complete all rental contracts (which I will not do).
Effects of renting cards
Thanks to the rental of the 20 cards I increased my power score to 439978 points.
So I spent $0.55 to increase my power score by 218548 points.
The requirement for the Champion league is 500000 power points so I still need about 60000 power points to enter the Champion III league but I will only rent more cards and meet this requirement if I reach the rating score of 3700 points.

Da Gold a Champion: la mia Strategia di Fine Stagione
Ciao Hivers e giocatori di Splinterlands, mancano poche ore alla fine della stagione in corso di Splinterlands e oggi volevo condividere con i miei lettori le mie scelte strategiche relative all'ultimo giorno prima della fine della stagione.
La mia strategia di fine stagione
In questa stagione cercherò di tornare nella lega Champion di Splinterlands dopo tanto tempo e per raggiungere il mio obbiettivo noleggerò alcune carte dal mercato di https://peakmonsters.com/.
Il mio punto di partenza è un rating di 2819 punti e un punteggio power di 211430 punti.
Per cercare di arrivare almeno in Lega Champion III devo soddisfare due requisiti:
- un punteggio di rating di almeno 3700 punti
- un punteggio power di 500000 punti
Per raggiungere il mio obbiettivo ho bisogno di:
- incrementare il mio punteggio di rating di 881 punti (3700-2819)
- incrementare il mio punteggio power di 278570 punti (500000-221430)
Il mio budget per il noleggio delle carte
In questa stagione ho deciso di incrementare il mio limite massimo di spesa per il noleggio delle carte. Nelle stagioni di Splinterlands precedenti ho speso al massimo 0.5$ per il noleggio delle carte. In questa stagione ho deciso di raddoppiare il budget e quindi potrò spendere fino ad 1$ per il noleggio delle carte.
Ho preso questa decisione per due motivi:
- Motivo numero 1: se noleggio più carte ho maggiori probabilità di arrivare in lega Champion III e se raggiungo il mio obbiettivo riceverò 50 forzieri in più rispetto alla mia ricompensa di fine stagione attuale che è di 30 forzieri (lega Gold I).
- Motivo numero 2: negli ultimi 20 giorni le carte di Splinterlands hanno registrato un notevole incremento di valore. Infatti la mia collezione di carte ha registrato un forte incremento di valore: + 239.40%
Più le carte hanno un valore alto e più è vantaggioso aprire un numero maggiore di forzieri perchè aprire più forzieri equivale a trovare più carte. La probabilità di trovare una carta all'interno di un forziere è di 1/3 e quindi arrivare in lega Champion III e aprire 50 forzieri in più rispetto alla lega Gold I equivale ad avere una probabilità di trovare 16,66 carte in più (50/3).
La mia strategia di noleggio
Noleggio principalmente carte leggendarie a partire dal livello 3 perchè:
- sono carte che hanno un buon valore di conversione in DEC che equivale a produrre un punteggio power alto.
- sono carte che hanno abilità molto utili in battaglia.
A partire dall'ultima stagione ho iniziato a noleggiare anche le carte evocatore di massimo o penultimo livello che trovo sul mercato ad un costo di noleggio non molto alto.
Noleggio solo carte che hanno un contratto di noleggio con il Termination Escrow uguale a 0. Se il Termination Escrow è uguale a 0 posso decidere in qualsiasi momento di interrompere il contratto di noleggio senza pagare una penale e terminata la stagione interrompo tutti i contratti in corso.

Come puoi vedere dall'immagine in basso il costo giornaliero delle 20 carte che ho noleggiato è di 0,55$ mentre il costo totale e finale sarà di 1.89$ solo nel caso in cui porterò a conclusione tutti i contratti di noleggio (cosa che non farò).
Effetti del noleggio
Grazie al noleggio delle 20 carte ho portato il mio punteggio power a 439978 punti.
Quindi ho speso 0.55$ per incrementaare il mio punteggio power di 218548 punti
Il requisito per la lega Champion è di 500000 punti power e quindi mi mancano ancora circa 60000 punti power per poter accedere alla lega Champion III ma noleggerò altre carte e soddisferò questo requisito solo se raggiungerò il punteggio di rating di 3700 punti.
