Hi Hivers and Splinterlands players, with this post I continue to share the strategy I have chosen to follow to optimize my card collection.
My goal is to optimize my card collection to increase my strength in battle which will hopefully allow me
- to access the most advanced leagues of Splinterlands: the Champion leagues.
- to have some chance to rank in the prize positions of the fortnightly rankings of Splinterlands that have as a prize packs of Untamed cards.
In order to optimize my card collection without having to invest new capital I decided to sell the gold cards that I did not use in battles.
On January 15, 2021 I had 54 gold cards in my card collection.
Today February 9, 2021 I have 19 Gold cards so I have sold a total of 35 cards.
With part of the revenue from the sale of gold cards I bought two cards very useful in battle:
- Fiendish Harpy level 4
- Tortisian Chief of level 4
Now it's time to choose my third purchase goal. I chose to purchase a card that I've always really liked and often rented the last couple of days before the end of Splinterlands seasons.
Card: Gold Dragon (level 3)
Gold Dragon is a card that is part of the Alpha and Beta collections.
It is a Legendary card and is a card of the Dragon element. I chose to buy Level 3 Gold Dragon (Beta) because it is, in my opinion, the level that has the best benefit/price ratio.
Gold Dragon of level 3 has the following stats:
- It has a medium mana cost (7).
- It has 3 magic attack point
- It has 8 life points but no armor points.
- It has a medium speed (3).
- It has three abilities: Flying, Heal and Blast.
Gold Dragon has three very good abilities, and in particular the Heal and Blast abilities are very useful in battle.
My Purchase Strategy
The purchase method I use to buy Splinterlands cards is exclusively the BID purchase offer: a very useful feature made available by the website https://peakmonsters.com/
To have in my collection Gold Dragon level 3 (Beta) I have to buy a total of 5 level 1 cards or I have to buy directly a card already upgraded to level 3 (result of the combination of 5 level 1 cards).
On the Splinterlands marketplace the best sale offer for Gold Dragon level 3 is $30.73 ($6.15 per card).
I will be trying to pay a maximum of $4,200 per card and have entered the data you can see in the image below.
Now, as you can see from the next image, I have 5 open BID offers and I just have to wait for some seller to decide to accept my purchase offer.
If in a few days no one has accepted my bid I will raise the value of my BID.

Ciao Hivers e giocatori di Splinterlands, con questo post continuo a condividere la strategia che ho scelto di seguire per ottimizzazione la mia collezione di carte.
Il mio obbiettivo è di potenziare la mia collezione di carte per aumentare la mia forza in battaglia che spero mi permetterà:
- di accedere alle leghe più avanzate di Splinterlands: le leghe Champion.
- di avere qualche possibilità di classificarmi nelle posizioni premiate delle classifiche quindicinali di Splinterlands che hanno come premio dei pacchi di carte Untamed.
Per ottimizzare la mia collezione di carte senza dover investire nuovo capitale ho deciso di vendere le carte gold che non utilizzavo nelle battaglie.
Il 15 gennaio 2021 avevo nella mia collezione di carte 54 carte Gold.
Oggi 9 febbraio 2021 ho 19 carte Gold e quindi ho venduto un totale di 35 carte.
Con parte del ricavato della vendita delle carte gold ho comprato due carte molto utili in battaglia:
- Fiendish Harpy di livello 4
- Tortisian Chief di livello 4
E' arrivato il momento di scegliere il mio terzo obbiettivo di acquisto. Ho scelto di acquistare una carta che mi è sempre piaciuta molto e che ho spesso noleggiato gli ultimi due giorni prima della fine delle stagioni di Splinterlands.
Carta: Gold Dragon (livello 3)
Gold Dragon è una carta che fa parte delle collezioni Alpha e Beta.
E' una carta Leggendaria ed è una carta dell'elemento Dragone. Ho scelto di comprare Gold Dragon di livello 3 perchè è, secondo me, il livello che ha il miglior rapporto benefici / prezzo.
Gold Dragon di livello 3 ha le seguenti statistiche:
- Ha un costo in mana medio-alto (7)
- Ha 3 punto di attacco magico
- Ha 8 punti vita ma non ha punti armatura.
- Ha una velocità media (3)
- Ha tre abilità: Flying, Heal e Blast.
Gold Dragon ha tre ottime abilità e in particolare sono molto utili in battaglia le abilità Heal e Blast.
Strategia di Acquisto
La modalità di acquisto che utilizzo per comprare le carte di Splinterlands è esclusivamente l'offerta di acquisto BID: funzionalità molto utile messa a disposizione dal sito https://peakmonsters.com/

Per avere nella mia collezione Gold Dragon di livello 3 (Beta) devo comprare in totale 5 carte di livello 1 oppure devo acquistare direttamente una carta già potenziata al livello 3 (risultato della combinazione di 5 carte di livello 1)
Sul mercato di Splinterlands la migliore offerta di vendita per Gold Dragon di livello 3 è di 30,73 $ (6,15$ per carta).
Cercherò di pagare un massimo di 4.200 $ a carta e ho inserito i dati che puoi vedere nell'immagine seguente.
Adesso, come puoi vedere dall'immagine successiva, ho 5 offerte BID aperte e devo solo aspettare che qualche venditore decida di accettare la mia offerta di acquisto.
Se fra qualche giorno nessuno avrà accettato la mia offerta di acquisto alzerò il valore della mia offerta BID.
