Golem Overlord: Break Even Point Reached in 9 Days of Play + My Next Investment Strategy
Today, after only three days, I return to share my gaming experience and strategy on the 14th Hive based game I decided to play and invest in: Golem Overlord.
Golem Overlord is an idle game developed on the Hive blockchain by https://splex.gg/.
If you don't know Golem Overlord you can read the post that I published three days ago in which I wrote a short introduction to the game with the requirements to register and in which I shared my game experience during the first six days since my registration.

Golem Overlord: My First 6 Days Of Play and My Investment Strategy |

The play-and-investment strategy that I shared in my previous post and have followed on Golem Overlord to date is this:
- Pay only the registration fee (30 SWAP.HIVE) and start playing without making any further investment
- Improve game statistics with more focus on defensive statistics (Fortification) to avoid being a " tasty" attack target.
- Reinvest 75% of PART tokens claimed to improve game statistics.
- Sell 25% of the claimed PART tokens to reach the break-even point and transform Golem Overlord from a play-to-earn game to a free-to-play game
Today I am making a change to my strategy because there is a proposal system on Golem Overlord that players can vote on, and the proposal to assign penalties (reduced claims) to players who burn less than 80% of PARTs earned from game activity was approved.
For this reason I will only sell 20% of the PARTs I earn to avoid a reduction of my claims by -25% (from 100% to 75%).
Knowing the percentage of PART tokens burned to avoid receiving penalty on the claim is easy because it is indicated and calculated by Golem Overlord (see image below).
I signed up on Golem Overlord on April 20, 2023 and today April 29, 2023 has passed 9 days.
In 9 days and reinvesting 84% of the PARTs obtained from my gaming activity, I improved my statistics to the levels you can see in the following image.
In the following image you can see the chronological order of my upgrades.
On Golem Overlord, players are rewarded with two tokens: the PART tokens and the SHARD tokens.
Both tokens have decreased in value over the past three days.
In particular, the PART token has experienced a major decrease in value since the date I published my previous post (April 26, 2023):
- -49.29% compared to the value of the HIVE token (April 26, 2023 - April 29, 2023).
- -50.38% compared to the dollar (April 26, 2023 - April 29, 2023)
Despite this decrease in value I still consider the value of PART tokens to be a very high value and for this reason I have also started playing with my curation account for SPT tokens: @libertygame27
In fact on Golem Overlord it is legit and possible to play with multiple accounts.
With my second game account, I spent 10 more SWAP.HIVE = 40 SWAP.HIVE because compared to 9 days ago, the registration cost has increased (30 SWAP.HIVE -> 40 SWAP.HIVE). I will share the game results and financial results of my second game account as well in my next post on Golem Overlord.
I joined Golem Overlord for two reasons:
- I like to test, evaluate and invest in game projects built on Hive's blockchain
- based on the market values of the game tokens (PART and SHARD) the probability of reaching the break-even point in a short time was very high.
My calculations and predictions proved fortunately correct and today and only after 9 days of play I reached the break-even point by selling:
- 15.03 PART
- 3.5 SHARD
Starting from this moment. for my main account Golem Overlord has become a free-to-play game and I have zeroed out the risk attached to the initial investment.
With the earnings I get from now on from selling 20% of PART tokens I will Power Up on Hive or invest in other Hive-based games.
For my second game account (@libertygame27) I should break even in about 15 days because I incurred a higher registration cost cost and because the value of PART tokens has decreased in the last few days.
Of course, my calculation is an estimated calculation and will be valid if the value of PART tokens remains close to the current value in the next 15 days. The amount of time it will take me to reach the break-even point will increase if the value of PART tokens and SHARD tokens decreases while it will be shorter in the opposite case.
My experience on di Golem Overlord is very positive from both the play and financial side.
The game is simple to understand and easy to play thanks to a detailed whitepaper and explanatory windows of the game elements.
I consider idle games to be 5% games and 95% investments and manage them according to this personal assessment of mine and that is why I try to break even as quickly as possible.
In fact based on my personal past experience in other idle games I have played I consider idle games tokens to be "tokens with progressive decrease in value over time " because without the constant addition of new players over time the tokens will most likely lose value...
This is why I like and find it useful to give penalties to those who use less than 80% of the PARTs but my previous considerations do not change.

Golem Overlord: My First 6 Days Of Play and My Investment Strategy |

La strategia di gioco e di investimento che ho condiviso nel mio precedente post e che ho seguito su Golem Overlord fino ad oggi è la seguente:
- Pagare solo il costo di iscrizione (30 SWAP.HIVE) e iniziare a giocare senza fare ulteriori investimenti
- Migliorare le statistiche di gioco con maggiore focus sulla statistica difensiva (Fortification) per evitare di essere un "ghiotto" obiettivo di attacco.
- Reinvestire il 75% dei token PART claimati per migliore le statistiche di gioco
- Vendere il 25% dei token PART claimati per raggiungere il punto di pareggio e trasformare Golem Overlord da un gioco play-to-earn ad un gioco free-to-play
Oggi apporto una modifica alla mia strategia perchè su Golem Overlord c'è un sistema di proposte che i giocatori possono votare ed è stata approvata la proposta di assegnare penalità (claim ridotti) ai giocatori che bruciano meno dell'80% dei PART guadagnati dall'attività di gioco.
Per questo motivo venderò solo il 20% dei PART che guadagnerò per evitare una riduzione dei miei claim del -25% (dal 100% al 75%).
Conoscere la percentuale di token PART bruciati per migliorare le statistiche di gioco è facile perchè è indicato e calcolato da Golem Overlord (vedi immagine seguente).
Mi sono iscritto su Golem Overlord il 20 aprile 2023 e oggi 29 aprile 2023 sono passati 9 giorni.
In 9 giorni e reinvestendo l'84% dei PART ottenuti dalla mia attività di gioco ho migliorato le mie statistiche ai livelli che puoi vedere nell'immagine seguente.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere l'ordine cronologico dei miei upgrades.
Su Golem Overlord i giocatori sono ricompensati con due token: i token PART e i token SHARD.
Entrambi i token hanno subito diminuzioni di valore negli ultimi tre giorni.
In particolare il token PART ha subito una importante diminuzione di valore rispetto alla data in cui ho pubblicato il mio precedente post (26 aprile 2023):
- -49.29% rispetto al valore del token HIVE (26 aprile 2023 - 29 aprile 2023)
- -50.38% rispetto al dollaro (26 aprile 2023 - 29 aprile 2023)
Nonostante questa diminuzione di valore considero il valore dei token PART ancora un valore molto alto e per questo motivo ho iniziato a giocare anche con il mio curation account per i token SPT: @libertygame27
Infatti su Golem Overlord è lecito e possibile giocare con più accounts.
Con il mio secondo account di gioco ho speso 10 SWAP.HIVE in più = 40 SWAP.HIVE perchè rispetto a 9 giorni fa il costo di iscrizione è aumentato (30 SWAP.HIVE -> 40 SWAP.HIVE). Condividerò i risultati di gioco e i risultati finanziari anche del mio secondo account di gioco nel mio prossimo post su Golem Overlord.
Mi sono iscritto su Golem Overlord per due motivi:
- mi piace provare, valutare e investire nei progetti di gioco costruiti sulla blockchain di Hive
- in base ai valori di mercato dei tokens del gioco (PART e SHARD) la probabilità di raggiungere il punto di pareggio in poco tempo era molto alta.
I miei calcoli e le mie previsioni si sono rivelate fortunatamente corrette e oggi e solo dopo 9 giorni di gioco ho raggiunto il punto di pareggio vendendo:
- 15.03 PART
- 3.5 SHARD
A partire da questo momento. per il mio account principale Golem Overlord è diventato un gioco free-to-play e ho azzerato il rischio collegato all'investimento iniziale.
Con i guadagni che otterrò d'ora in poi dalla vendita del 20% dei token PART farò Power Up su Hive o investirò in altri giochi Hive-based.
Per il mio secondo account di gioco (@libertygame27) dovrei raggiungere il punto di pareggio in circa 15 giorni perchè ho sostenuto un costo di iscricione maggiore e perchè il valore dei token PART è diminuito negli ultimi giorni. Ovviamente il mio calcolo è un calcolo stimato ed è valido se il valore dei token PART rimarrà vicino al valore attuale nei prossimi 15 giorni. Il quantitativo di tempo che impiegherò per raggiungere il punto di pareggio aumenterà se il valore dei token PART e dei token SHARD diminuirà mentre sarà più breve nel caso contrario.
La mia esperienza su di Golem Overlord è molto positiva sia dal punto di vista ludico che dal punto di vista del lato finanziario.
Il gioco è semplice da capire e facile da giocare grazie ad un whitepaper dettagliato e alle finestre esplicative degli elementi di gioco.
Considero gli idle games al 5% giochi e al 95% investimenti e li gestisco in base a questa mia personale valutazione ed è per questo motivo che cerco di raggiungere il punto di pareggio nel più breve tempo possibile.
Infatti in base alla mia personale esperienza passata in altri idle games a cui ho giocato considero i tokens degli idle games dei token a diminuzione di valore progressivo nel tempo perchè senza l'aggiunta costante nel tempo di nuovi giocatori i token perderanno con molta probabilità valore...
Per questo motivo mi piace ed è utile la scelta di dare penalità a chi utilizza meno dell'80% dei PART ma le mie considerazioni precedenti non cambiano.
