Today is March 1 and as I have been doing every month for almost three years now, it's time for me to monitor and share my progress and growth goals on the Hive blockchain which is my favorite blockchain project. In four days, on March 5, 2022, it will be just three years since I discovered Hive. Actually Hive is less than three years old but I consider my activity on the blockchain from which Hive was born as if it was on Hive anyway because the communities and people I always interacted with the most immediately moved to Hive abandoning a blockchain project that remained immobile and centralized unlike Hive that continued to improve, develop and kept constant respect for the principles of decentralization and freedom.
Today I read the post of @luba555, a Hive user who registered only two months ago but immediately showed great enthusiasm for Hive. In her post luba555 wrote:
I am loving hive more and more every day! All the people I've met here are all so kind and good! I wish the real world was like HIVE!
When I signed up for Hive I made the same points as she did and today after three years I think the exact same things.
In a world where centralization is rampant there are blockchain projects that are a real "positive ananomaly" and Hive is one of the most beautiful, concrete and positive examples because Hive has no owners and is completely free, uncensored and completely decentralized.
By the way, transparency, freedom of choice and freedom of expression are principles/values that are more and more at risk in the world we live in, and the ongoing war Russia is waging against Ukraine is a clear example of how the centralization of power in the hands of a person or a small group of people can only and always lead to tragic and terrible consequences...
I hope very much that this madness called war will stop as soon as possible....
Hive is unique in the landscape of blockchain projects because it allows to earn HIVE tokens even just by investing time instead of money.
On Hive I invested mostly time and always had a medium - long term view. I used to post and interact with other Hive users when a HIVE token was worth 0.10$ and I do it today when a HIVE token is worth a little more than 1$.
On March 1, 2021, one year ago, the value of a HIVE token was $0.3069.
A 236.92% increase in value is a very good increase in value but I still consider the current value of the HIVE token to be very undervalued considering all that Hive offers and considering all of its utilities.
When I like a project, I also like to set myself some goals and on Hive I have set some precise growth goals that I would like to reach before the end of the year 2022.
My main goal is to reach an amount of 30000 HP by December 31, 2022.
The Hive blockchain has three currency tokens:
- HIVE
- Hive Power (HP)
- Hive Backed Dollars (HBD)
The difference between HIVE, HP, and HBD is explained very well in the FAQ at https://hive.blog (image below)
At the moment the HBD tokens if put in Savings allow to have a slightly higher return than the HP tokens (APR: 12% VS about 10%) but I prefer to have more HP tokens than HBD tokens because the HP tokens offer many advantages whose value in my opinion exceeds the difference of APR:
- + Hive Power = + Voting Weight = + Curation Rewards.
- + Hive Power = + Resource Credits = + Executable Actions on the blockchain
- + Hive Power = + Decision-making power within the blockchain:
- greater weight in choosing Hive witnesses
- greater weight in the choice of proposals and projects to be funded (DHF Proposal)
To reach my main goal my Hive wallet will have to have a total value (HP+HBD+HIVE) of 30000 HIVE by the end of the year.
My Hive Wallet
(March 1, 2022)
Today March 2, 2022 my Hive wallet contains: 348.9 HIVE, 21065.179 HP, 54,659 HBD and 1000 HBD in Savings.
The total value of my Hive Wallet is 22407.56 HIVE = $23169.42.
In one month the HIVE value of my wallet has grown by +3.19% with an increase in value of +692 HIVE.
To track my progress towards my main goal, I created a simple table with my spreadsheet. In the table, I divided my yearly goal into intermediate monthly goals that will be smaller or larger based on the previous month's outcome.
February was not as good as January because I did not reach the intermediate monthly goal that I had set for myself for 61.11 HIVE tokens but it is also true that February has only 28 days while January has three days more. The goal that I must try to achieve for the month of March is an increase in value of my wallet of 759.24 HIVE.
In my previous monthly report I wrote that I would have liked to be able to publish a post a day in the month of February but I didn't succeed. In fact in February I published the same number of posts I published in January: 14 posts in 28 days with an average of one post every two days. February was a really special month for me and my family because we all took Covid. Fortunately the symptoms were very mild and we all recovered within 10 days but my work activity as well as my posting and interaction on Hive was affected. In the month of March I would like to be able to do what I was not able to do in the month of February and therefore I would like to publish a post a day or at least raise my publishing average.
Considering all the difficulties and commitments I've had in the past month I'm still satisfied with the monthly results I've achieved:
- Total Author Rewards: 816.95 HIVE
- Total Curation Rewards: 119.42 HIVE
I've been investing a portion of my monthly author and curator rewards on a few projects built on Hive and in the purchase of second level Hive tokens.
On Hive the first day of every month is Power Up Day and whoever does power up gets a badge on https://hivebuzz.me/
The badges related to the Power Up Days have no economic value but only symbolic but I like them and this year I will try to get them all (12 out of 12).
Since I signed up on Hive I have never done a Power Down and I don't plan to in the near future. Doing Power Ups on Hive is the best way to start the month and today I did a Power Up of 100 liquid HIVE tokens.
I decided to hold a small amount of liquid HIVE tokens to take advantage of the price fluctuations of HBD tokens and HIVE tokens over the course of the year. This way I will try to further increase the amount of HP tokens in my wallet.
A lot of blockchain projects have come up in the last year, but Hive is still my favorite blockchain project and it's also the blockchain project I spend the most time on and do it with pleasure.
Setting goals is the first step to achieve them and I will work hard to achieve my goals on Hive.
In conclusion I want to thank all the people who support me, follow me, read and comment on my posts because they dedicate their time to me and time is the most valuable asset we have.

Oggi è il primo marzo e come faccio ogni mese da quasi tre anni è arrivato il momento per me di monitorare e condividere i miei progressi e i miei obiettivi di crescita sulla blockchain di Hive che è il mio progetto blockchain preferito. Fra quattro giorni, il 5 marzo 2022, saranno passati giusto tre anni da quando ho scoperto Hive. In realtà Hive ha meno di tre anni ma considero la mia attività sulla blockchain da cui è nata Hive come se fosse stata comunque su Hive perchè le comunità e le persone con cui ho sempre interagito di più si sono spostate immediatamente su Hive abbandonando un progetto blockchain che è rimasto immobile e centralizzato a differenza di Hive che ha continuato a migliorarsi, a svilupparsi e che ha mantenuto costante il rispetto per i principi di decentralizzazione e libertà.
Oggi leggevo il post di @luba555, un'utente di Hive che si è registrata solo due mesi fa ma ha mostrato subito un grande entusiasmo per Hive. Nel suo post luba555 ha scritto:
Sto amando hive ogni giorno di più! Tutte le persone che ho conosciuto qui sono tutte gentilissime e buone! Magari il mondo reale fosse come HIVE!
Quando mi sono iscritto su Hive ho fatto le sue stesse considerazioni e oggi dopo tre anni penso le stesse identiche cose.
In un mondo dove la centralizzazione è dilagante ci sono i progetti blockchain che sono una vera e propria "anomalia positiva" e Hive è uno degli esempi più belli, concreti e positivi perchè Hive non ha proprietari ed è completamente libera, priva di censura e completamente decentralizzata.
Tra l'altro la trasparenza, la libertà di scelta e la libertà di espressione sono principi/valori che sono sempre più a rischio nel mondo in cui viviamo e la guerra in corso mossa dalla Russia contro l'Ucranina è un chiaro esempio di come l'accentramento del potere nelle mani di una persona o di un piccolo gruppo di persone può portare solo e sempre a conseguenze tragiche e terribili...
Spero tanto che questa pazzia chiamata guerra si interrompa il prima possibile...
Hive è unica nel panorama dei progetti blockchain perchè permette di guadagnare token HIVE anche solo investendo tempo invece che soldi. Su Hive ho investito soprattutto tempo e ho avuto sempre una visione di medio - lungo periodo. Pubblicavo e interagivo con gli altri utenti di Hive quando un token HIVE valeva 0.10$ e lo faccio oggi che un token HIVE vale poco più di 1$.
Il primo marzo 2021, un anno fa, il valore di un token HIVE era di 0.3069$.
Un incremento di valore del 236.92% è un ottimo incremento di valore ma considero il valore attuale del token HIVE ancora molto sottovalutato considerando tutto quello che Hive offre e considerando tutte le sue utilità.
Quando un progetto mi piace, mi piace anche pormi degli obiettivi e su Hive ho fissato degli obiettivi di crescita ben precisi che vorrei raggiungere prima della fine dell'anno 2022.
Il mio obiettivo principale è raggiungere un quantitativo di 30000 HP entro il 31 dicembre 2022.

Al momento i token HBD se messi in Savings permettono di avere un ritorno leggermente superiore rispetto ai token HP (APR: 12% VS 10% circa) ma io preferisco tenere un maggior numero di token HP rispetto ai token HBD perchè i token HP offrono molti vantaggi il cui valore secondo me supera la differenza dell'APR:

- + Hive Power = + Resource Credits = + Azioni Eseguibili sulla blockchain
- + Hive Power = + potere decisionale all'interno della blockchain:
- maggior peso nella scelta dei testimoni di Hive

Per raggiungere il mio obiettivo principale il mio Hive wallet dovrà avere un valore totale (HP+HBD+HIVE) di 30000 HIVE entro fine anno.

Oggi 2 marzo 2022 il mio Hive wallet contiene: 348.9 HIVE, 21065.179 HP, 54.659 HBD e 1000 HBD in Savings.

In un mese il valore in HIVE del mio wallet è cresciuto del +3.19% con un incremento di valore di +692 HIVE.
Per monitorare il mio percorso verso il mio obiettivo principale ho creato una semplice tabella con il mio foglio di calcolo. Nella tabella ho diviso il mio obiettivo annuale in obiettivi intermedi di durata mensile che saranno più piccoli o più grandi in base al risultato del mese precedente.
Febbraio non è stato un mese positivo come il mese di Gennaio perchè non ho raggiunto l'obiettivo intermedio mensile che mi ero prefissato per 61.11 token HIVE ma è anche vero che febbraio ha solo 28 giorni mentre gennaio ha tre giorni in più. L'obiettivo che devo cercare di raggiungere per il mese di Marzo è un incremento di valore del mio wallet di 759.24 HIVE.
Nel mio report mensile precedente avevo scritto che mi sarebbe piaciuto riuscire a pubblicare un post al giorno nel mese di febbraio ma non ci sono riuscito. Infatti nel mese di febbraio ho pubblicato lo stesso numero di post che ho pubblicato nel mese di gennaio: 14 post in 28 giorni con una media di un post ogni due giorni. Febbraio è stato un mese davvero particolare per me e la mia famiglia perchè abbiamo preso tutti il Covid. Fortunatamente i sintomi sono stati molto leggeri e siamo tutti guariti nel giro di 10 giorni ma la mia attività lavorativa come anche la mia attività di pubblicazione e interazione su Hive ne ha risentito. Nel mese di marzo vorrei riuscire a fare quello che non sono riuscito a fare nel mese di febbraio e quindi vorrei pubblicare un post al giorno o almeno alzare la mia media di pubblicazione.
Considerate tutte le difficoltà e impegni che ho avuto nel mese appena trascorso sono comunque soddisfatto dei risultati mensili che ho ottenuto:

- Total Curation Rewards: 119.42 HIVE
Ho investito una parte delle mie ricompense mensili da autore e curatore su alcuni progetti costruiti su Hive e nell'acquisto di token di secondo livello di Hive.

I badges relativi ai Power Up Days di @hivebuzz non hanno un valore economico ma solo simbolico ma a me piacciono e quest'anno cercherò di ottenerli tutti (12 su 12).
Da quando mi sono iscritto su Hive non ho mai fatto un Power Down e non ho intenzione di farlo nel prossimo futuro. Fare Power Up su Hive è il modo migliore per iniziare il mese e oggi ho fatto un Power Up di 100 token HIVE liquidi.
Ho deciso di tenere un piccola quantità di HIVE liquidi per sfruttare le oscillazioni di prezzo dei token HBD e dei token HIVE nel corso dell'anno. In questo modo cercherò di accrescere ulteriormente il quantitativo di token HP nel mio wallet.
Nell'ultimo anno sono nati molti progetti blockchain ma Hive è ancora il mio progetto blockchain preferito ed è anche il progetto blockchain a cui dedico più tempo e lo faccio con piacere.
Porsi degli obiettivi è il primo passo per raggiungerli e io mi impegnerò al massimo per raggiungere i miei obiettivi su Hive.
