La versione in italiano è subito dopo la versione in inglese - The Italian version is immediately after the English version***It's been over two and a half years since I registered on Hive (March 5, 2019) and Hive has quickly become a pleasant daily habit of mine:
- I like to read the content posted by other authors
- I like to interact with other users
- I like to participate in various initiatives and contests promoted by communities and other users
- I like to help those who are in difficulty and in fact those who have tried to contact me know that my door on Discord is always open especially for new users who may encounter some difficulty in taking their first steps on Hive ;)
- I like to support the various projects on Hive
- I like to play games based on blockchain developed and built on Hive
- I like to publish content related to projects that interest me and in which I have invested.
In recent months and thanks to the success of Splinterlands there have been many new signups on Hive. Those who sign up for Hive through Splinterlands might think that Hive is just a decentralized infrastructure that allows Splinterlands to record game transactions. Someone who signs up for Hive because they clicked on a link to a Hive post shared by me or other hivers on a traditional social network might think that Hive is just a decentralized blogging platform.
In reality Hive is not just one thing but many things at once!
Hive is a DPOS blockchain on which "lives" a large ecosystem of dapp, communities and projects.
In the following image you can see just a very small part of the projects built on the Hive blockchain.
The most beautiful aspect of this great ecosystem present on Hive is its dynamism and its continuous expansion.
24 days ago I wrote a post in which I tried to show the many potentialities and usefulness of Hive and I showed the features of the site https://hiveprojects.io/ that is a good starting point to discover the ecosystem of Hive (link below).
Today there are already 149 projects listed on https://hiveprojects.io/
Today a HIVE token is worth $1.05 (source and screenshots: https://coinmarketcap.com/it/currencies/hive-blockchain/)
Exactly one year ago (October 5, 2020) a HIVE token was worth $0.157
In one year the value of 1 HIVE has increased by +568.79%.
An excellent increase in value, but I still consider it an underestimated value for all that the Hive blockchain offers!
When I like a project, I also like to share my considerations and my goals on the project in question and today I want to share my personal journey towards the goals that I set several months ago and inherent to the Hive blockchain.
Every month I post a monthly report on my growth journey on Hive and I do this for two reasons:
- it helps me to self-motivate myself to achieve the goals I set
- it helps me promote and publicize Hive because I share my Hive posts on some traditional social networks.

Progress Status
To track my progress towards my goal I created a simple table with my spreadsheet in which I divided my main goal into smaller intermediate goals of monthly duration.
As you can see from the data in the table in the image below the intermediate target I had to reach in September was 2170.40 HIVE (fifth column in the table: Monthly Target to Reach).
My Wallet
(September 30, 2021)
On August 31, 2021 my Wallet had a value of 18281 HIVE (HIVE+HP+HBD).
On September 30, 2021 I took the screenshot of my Wallet at: https://peakd.com/@libertycrypto27/wallet and as you can see from the image below, 6 days ago my Wallet contained: 49.71 HIVE, 18390.86 HP and a total of 362.02 HBD (9,962+352,067).
If I add up all the values (HIVE+HP+HBD) I get a corresponding value in HIVE of 19027.31 HIVE (on September 30, 2021)
In one month the HIVE value of my wallet has increased by 746.32 HIVE which corresponds to a percentage increase of +4.08%.
The result I obtained in September is higher than the result of the month of June (+623.22 HIVE) but it is still much lower than the intermediate monthly target that I should have reached in order to reach my final goal.
I have updated the table with the September results and the amount of HIVE tokens I need to reach my final goal is 10972.68 HIVE.
In the month of October I should try to increase the value of my portfolio by 3657.56 HIVE to reach the monthly goal... This is an impossible task but never say never, if some project that I follow or some token that I have in my wallet will acquire a lot of value I could always make a nice Power Up and with a stroke of the tail I could reach the goal of 30000 Hive Power.
Secondary Goals
Reaching 30000 Hive Power is my main goal but it is not the only goal I have set. I have also set secondary goals that I would like to achieve.
Engagement goal (total number of comments): 15000
Out of all the goals, the goal related to the number of comments is the second goal I care most about. The advice I always give to new users is to interact as much as possible on the Hive blockchain by commenting on the posts of other Hive authors who share their same interests or who publish useful and quality content. It's always nice to receive a comment on a post and whoever comments has the opportunity to encourage the publishing activity of the author who follows and at the same time has the opportunity to confront with the ideas, thoughts and moments experienced by another person that may be very different from their own but that are an important moment of personal growth.
I've seen many authors complain and abandon Hive because no one was reading and commenting on their posts. But almost always it was the complainers who didn't read and comment on other authors' posts because they didn't understand the importance of interaction. Why, for example, would a reader prefer to read a post on Hive that talks about Bitcoin instead of reading a post on the same topic by a famous and important online newspaper? The answer is simple: for the interaction with the author of the post and for the atmosphere of sharing and collaboration that exists on Hive.
My comment-related goal is to write a total of 15000 comments by the end of 2021.
To date I have written a total of 11266 comments and my daily average is just over 12 comments per day.
To reach a total number of 15000 comments I have to write 3734 comments by the end of the year with an average of 41 comments per day. To reach this goal I need to interact a lot more. I love reading and commenting but I have one big obstacle: time.
Reputation Goal: 76
On Hive each account is associated with a numerical value called reputation.
Reputation is just one of the many elements that differentiates Hive from other centralized, traditional platforms like Facebook and Twitter. On the centralized blogging platforms reputation is not there because it would be a counterproductive element for the owners of the platforms because the users are and must continue to be only source of sellable data to obtain wealth. That's why controls on activities such as SPAM and plagiarism are soft and almost non-existent on Facebook and other centralized platform.
In a time frame of two months I increased my reputation by +0.39 points.
On July 31, 2021 my reputation was 73.54 points On September 30, 2021 my reputation was 73.93 points
According to the information on the website: https://hivebuzz.me/ranking I am in the number 485 place in the reputation ranking of all users on Hive. The value of the reputation of an account is not always a reliable value because in the past and before the birth of Hive was allowed to use bid-bots but I have never used bid-bots and for this reason I keep this value that provides an indication of my activity of publication and interaction on Hive.
Reaching a reputation of 76 will be virtually impossible but if I get close to 75 I will be satisfied.
In September, I exceeded 1050 published posts and stopped at 1053.
To reach my goal I would have to publish 247 posts in three months with an average of 2.74 posts per day. With my current work and family commitments I can hardly publish a post every day and then I think that this goal will be almost impossible to achieve because I do not have the ability to summarize and I often take too long writing a post...
Followers goal: 1000
On September 1 I had 762 followers, today I have 836 followers. In the month of September I increased the number of followers by 74.
September: Considerations
The month of September was perhaps the month I posted the least since I've been on Hive. I could have done more but I'm satisfied with the results I obtained especially if I consider the little time I had to dedicate to the activities I like to do and, reading posts, publishing content, commenting, interacting and playing games on Hive are all activities I like very much.
Compared to August, I have increased the total amount of rewards I have received as a result of my author activity.
- Total Author Rewards (HP): 528.26 HIVE (last month: 440.18 HIVE)
Curation rewards have decreased but this is a result that I expected because last month I received a delegation of 5000 HP for the duration of 25 days as a reward for my participation in a contest of the community of Olio di Balena.
- Total Curation Rewards (HP): 123.78 HIVE (last month: 169.5 HIVE)
Conclusion
I set all of the goals in this monthly report of mine 11 months ago (November 2020). In all likelihood I will not reach any of the goals that I have set but my commitment will still be maximum in trying to at least get closer to my goals because I believe in the project of Hive and grow on Hive is one of my priorities.
In conclusion I want to thank all the people who follow me, who read and comment on my posts and all the people who support me because they have dedicated their time and contributed to the growth of my account. Negli ultimi mesi e grazie soprattutto al successo di Splinterlands ci sono state tante nuove iscrizioni su Hive. Chi si iscrive ad Hive tramite Splinterlands potrebbe pensare che Hive sia solo un'infrastruttura decentralizzata che permette a Splinterlands di registrare le transazioni di gioco. Chi si iscrive ad Hive perchè ha cliccato su un link di un post di Hive condiviso da me o da altri hivers su un social network tradizionale potrebbe pensare che Hive è solo una piattaforma di blogging decentralizzata.
In realtà Hive non è solo una cosa ma è tante cose insieme!
Hive è una blockchain DPOS sulla quale "vive" un grande ecosistema di dapp, comunità e progetti.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere solo una piccolissima parte dei progetti costruiti sulla blockchain di Hive.
L'aspetto più bello di questo grande ecosistema presente su Hive è la sua dinamicità e la sua continua espansione.
24 giorni fa ho scritto un post in cui ho cercato di mostrare le tante potenzialità e utilità di Hive e ho mostrato le funzionalità del sito https://hiveprojects.io/ che è un buon punto di partenza per scoprire l'ecosistema di Hive (link seguente).

Un ottimo incremento di valore che però io considero ancora un valore decisamente sottovalutato per tutto quello che offre la blockchain di Hive!
Quando un progetto mi piace, mi piace anche condividere le miei considerazioni e i miei obbiettivi sul progetto in questione e oggi voglio condividere il mio personale percorso verso gli obbiettivi che mi sono posto diversi mesi fa e inerenti alla blockchain di Hive.
Ogni mese pubblico un report mensile sul mio percorso di crescita su Hive e lo faccio per due motivi:
- mi aiuta ad automotivarmi per raggiungere gli obbiettivi che mi sono posto
- mi aiuta a promuovere e far conoscere Hive perchè condivido i miei post di Hive su alcuni social network tradizionali.

Stato di avanzamento
Per monitorare il mio percorso verso il mio obbiettivo ho creato una semplice tabella con il mio foglio di calcolo nella quale ho diviso il mio obbiettivo principale in obbiettivi intermedi più piccoli di durata mensile.
Come puoi vedere dai dati presenti nella tabella nell'immagine seguente l'obbiettivo intermedio che dovevo raggiungere nel mese di settembre era di 2170.40 HIVE (quinta colonna della tabella: Monthly Target to Reach).
Il mio Wallet
(30 settembre 2021)
Il 31 agosto 2021 il mio Wallet aveva un valore di 18281 HIVE (HIVE+HP+HBD).
Il 30 settembre 2021 ho fatto lo screenshot del mio Wallet sul sito: https://peakd.com/@libertycrypto27/wallet e come puoi vedere dall'immagine seguente, 6 giorni fa il mio Wallet conteneva: 49.71 HIVE, 18390.86 HP e un totale di 362.02 HBD (9.962+352.067).
Se sommo tutti i valori (HIVE+HP+HBD) ottengo un corrispondente valore in HIVE di 19027.31 HIVE (in data 30 settembre 2021)
In un mese il valore in HIVE del mio wallet è cresciuto di 746.32 HIVE che corrisponde ad un incremento percentuale del +4.08%
Il risultato che ho ottenuto nel mese di settembre è superiore al risultato del mese di giugno (+623.22 HIVE) ma è comunque molto inferiore all'obbiettivo intermedio mensile che avrei dovuto raggiungere per poter centrare il mio obbiettivo finale.
Ho aggiornato la tabella con i risultati del mese di settembre e il quantitativo di token HIVE che mi manca per raggiungere il mio obbiettivo finale è di 10972.68 HIVE.
Nel mese di ottobre dovrei cercare di incrementare il valore del mio portafoglio di 3657.56 HIVE per raggiungere l'obbiettivo mensile... Impresa praticamente impossibile ma mai dire mai, se qualche progetto che seguo o qualche token che ho nel mio wallet acquisterà molto valore potrei sempre fare un bel Power Up e con un colpo di coda potrei riuscire a raggiungere l'obbiettivo dei 30000 Hive Power.
Obbiettivi Secondari
Raggiungere 30000 Hive Power è il mio obbiettivo principale ma non è l'unico obbiettivo che mi sono posto. Ho fissato anche degli obbiettivi secondari che vorrei raggiungere.
Obbiettivo Engagement (numero totale commenti): 15000
Tra tutti gli obbiettivi, l'obbiettivo relativo al numero dei commenti è il secondo obbiettivo a cui tengo di più. Il consiglio che dò sempre ai nuovi utenti è di interagire il più possibile sulla blockchain di Hive commentando i post degli altri autori di Hive che condividono i loro stessi interessi o che pubblicano contenuti utili e di qualità. Fa sempre piacere ricevere un commento ad un proprio post e chi commenta ha l'occasione di incentivare l'attività di pubblicazione dell'autore che segue e allo stesso tempo ha l'occasione di confrontarsi con le idee, i pensieri e i momenti vissuti di un'altra persona che possono essere anche molto diversi dei propri ma che costituiscono un importante momento di crescita personale.
Ho visto tanti autori lamentarsi e abbandonare Hive perchè nessuno leggeva e commentava i loro post. Quasi sempre però era chi si lamentava a non leggere e commentare i post degli altri autori. Perchè ad esempio un lettore dovrebbe preferire leggere un post su Hive che parla di Bitcoin invece di leggere un post sullo stesso argomento di una testata giornalistica online famosa e importante? La risposta è semplice: per l'interazione con l'autore del post e per l'atmosfera di condivisione e collaborazione che c'è su Hive.
Il mio obbiettivo relativo ai commenti è quello di scrivere un totale di 15000 commenti entro la fine del 2021.
Fino ad oggi ho scritto in totale 11266 commenti e la mia media giornaliera è di poco superiore a 12 commenti al giorno.
Per arrivare ad un numero totale di 15000 commenti devo scrivere ancora 3734 commenti entro la fine dell'anno con una media di 41 commenti al giorno. Per raggiungere questo obbiettivo devo interagire molto di più. Leggere e commentare mi piace molto ma ho purtroppo un unico e grande ostacolo: il tempo a disposizione.

Su Hive ad ogni account è associato un valore numerico che si chiama reputazione.
La reputazione è solo uno dei tanti elementi che differenzia Hive dalle altre piattaforme centralizzate e tradizionali come Facebook e Twitter. Sulle piattaforme di blogging centralizzate la reputazione non c'è perchè sarebbe un elemento controproducente per i proprietari delle piattaforme perchè gli utenti sono e devono continuare ad essere soltanto fonte di dati vendibili per ottenere ricchezza. Ecco spiegato il motivo per cui i controlli su attività come SPAM e plagio sono blandi e quasi inesistenti su Facebook e Co.
In un arco temporale di due mesi ho incrementato la mia reputazione di +0.39 punti.

In base alle informazioni del sito: https://hivebuzz.me/ranking mi trovo al posto numero 485 della classifica relativa alla reputazione di tutti gli utenti di Hive. Il valore della reputazione di un account non è sempre un valore attendibile perchè in passato e prima della nascita di Hive era permesso usare i bid-bot ma io non ho mai usato bid-bots e per questo motivo tengo a questo valore che fornisce un indicazione della mia attività di pubblicazione e interazione su Hive.
Raggiungere una reputazione di 76 sarà praticamente impossibile ma se mi avvicinerò al valore di 75 sarò comunque soddisfatto.
Nel mese di settembre ho superato i 1050 post pubblicati e mi sono fermato al numero 1053.
Per raggiungere il mio obbiettivo dovrei pubblicare 247 post in tre mesi con una media di 2,74 post al giorno. Con i miei attuali impegni lavorativi e familiari difficilmente riuscirò a pubblicare un post tutti i giorni e quindi penso che anche questo obbiettivo sarà quasi impossibile da raggiungere anche perchè non ho il dono della sintesi e spesso mi dilungo nella scrittura di un post...

Settembre: Considerazioni
Il mese di settembre è stato forse il mese in cui ho pubblicato meno post da quando sono su Hive. Potevo fare decisamente di più ma sono soddisfatto dei risultati che ho ottenuto soprattutto se considero il poco tempo che ho avuto a disposizione da dedicare alle attività che mi piace fare e, leggere post, pubblicare contenuti, commentare, interagire e giocare ai giochi su Hive sono tutte attività che mi piacciono molto.
Rispetto al mese di agosto ho aumentato il totale delle ricompense ricevute grazie alla mia attività da autore.

Conclusione
Ho fissato tutti gli obbiettivi presenti in questo mio report mensile 11 mesi fa (novembre 2020). Con molta probabilità non raggiungerò nessuno degli obbiettivi che mi sono posto ma il mio impegno sarà comunque massimo nel cercare almeno di avvicinarmi ai miei obbiettivi perchè credo nel progetto di Hive e crescere su Hive è una delle mie priorità.
Gli assets principali della blockchain di Hive sono i token HIVE, HP e HBD ma su Hive ci sono anche i token di secondo livello e ho precisi obbiettivi anche per loro ma questo sarà l'argomento di un mio prossimo post.
In conclusione voglio ringraziare tutte le persone che mi seguono, che leggono e commentano i miei post e tutte le persone che mi supportano perchè mi hanno dedicato il loro tempo e hanno contribuito alla crescita del mio account. Un ringraziamento particolare va come sempre a @fedesox, il creatore della comunità di Olio di Balena di cui sono un felice moderatore, che mi supporta da quando ero un piccolo e inesperto utente di Hive.
