Da quando questo dannato virus è entrato con prepotenza a cambiare abitudini e modi di vivere di noi tutti ho sempre avuto paura per i miei genitori, i miei suoceri e tutti i familiari di una certa età perchè i più a rischio, i più fragili.
Le mie preoccupazioni maggiori le ho avute sempre nei confronti di mio padre che ha una certa età ed ha alcune patologie che lo rendono molto a rischio. Con l'arrivo del vaccino ho tirato un sospiro di sollievo ma purtroppo il virus ha fatto prima.
Nel fine settima mia sorella, che vive con i miei genitori, è tornata da lavoro con qualche decimo di febbre. Mia sorella è una di quelle persone super attente, ha sempre una boccetta di igienizzante nella borsa e disinfetta tutto quello che trova a tiro eppure...
Oggi le mie due sorelle e i miei genitori hanno prenotato e fatto a pagamento il tampone e poche ore fa è arrivato il risultato: tutti positivi. Mio padre per il momento ha una leggera febbre ma non vi nascondo che sono preoccupato. Pochi giorni fa è morta una mia zia anziana che è entrata in ospedale con il covid-19 e non è più uscita con le sue gambe...
Bisogna continuare a prestare la massima attenzione e mi rivolgo in particolare alle persone che prendono superficialmente questo virus che è molto contagioso.
Ne ho sentite tante di fantasiose teorie in questi mesi:
- Il virus non esiste
- I fumatori non prendono il corona virus
- Che mi importa del virus tanto io sono giovane
- ....
Potrei continuare per ore...
Chi pensa in questo modo lo fa solo perchè ha avuto la fortuna di non essere stato toccato direttamente...
Sono totalmente per la libertà di parola e di pensiero e chiunque può e deve esprimere il proprio pensiero ma nessuno dovrebbe mettere a rischio la vita degli altri soprattutto se più deboli o fragili.
Io non sono un medico o un virologo ma so solo che persone che conoscevo e che avevano alcune patologie con cui si può convivere e non morire, come il diabete, sono morte molto prima del tempo... Un mio caro cugino che ha meno di 50 anni, sano e senza alcuna patologia è stato ricoverato in ospedale e solo con l'aiuto del ventilatore e dopo diversi giorni è guarito ed è tornato a casa ma è stato davvero male.
Si può discutere sul modo di aver gestito l'emergenza ma non si può discutere sull'esistenza del covid-19 a mio modesto parere.
Domani mattina io, mia moglie e mia figlia faremo il tampone. Verrà un infermiere a casa per la modica cifra di 306 euro.
Spero di non essere positivo anche io così potrò muovermi liberamente per aiutare i miei cari che dovranno rimanere diversi giorni in quarantena.
Siamo stati davvero tutti scrupolosi e attenti ma proprio mia sorella, la persona che è sempre stata la più attenta in famiglia, è stata contagiata.
Concludo questo post con alcune cosiderazioni Ma chi ha pochi soldi per vivere e ha avuto contatti con positivi accertati oppure ha sintomi evidenti come fa a pagare un tampone 90 - 100 euro? Se i componenti della famiglia sono 4 la spesa diventa esorbitante.
Chi richiede il tampone perchè è stato a contatto con un positivo accertato quanto tempo aspetta per ricevere il tampone e scoprire se è positivo?
Quanto tempo impiega la macchina sanitaria per mettersi in moto e per indagare e accertare i contatti avuti dai positivi certificati per evitare il diffondersi del contagio?
Alcune risposte già le conosco altre le avrò nei giorni seguenti.

Ever since this damn virus came in with force to change habits and ways of life of all of us, I have always been afraid for my parents, my in-laws and all family members of a certain age because they are the most at risk, the most fragile.
My biggest worries have always been about my father, who is of a certain age and has certain pathologies that make him very much at risk. With the arrival of the vaccine I breathed a sigh of relief but unfortunately the virus has done before.
Over the weekend my sister, who lives with my parents, came home from work with a few tenths of a fever. My sister is one of those super careful people, she always has a bottle of sanitizer in her purse and sanitizes everything in reach and yet....
Today my two sisters and my parents booked and paid for the swab and a few hours ago the result came back: all positive. For the moment my father has a slight fever but I won't hide the fact that I'm worried. A few days ago an elderly aunt of mine died, she came into the hospital with covid-19 and never came out on her own....
We must continue to pay the utmost attention and I am particularly addressing people who superficially catch this virus that is very contagious.
I have heard so many fanciful theories over the past few months:
- The virus does not exist
- Smokers do not catch the corona virus
- I don't care about the virus because I am young
- ....
I could go on for hours...
Those who think this way only do it because they have been lucky enough not to have been directly touched...
I am not a doctor or a virologist but I only know that people I knew who had some pathologies with which you can live and not die, such as diabetes, died much earlier than time ... A dear cousin of mine who is less than 50 years old, healthy and without any pathology was hospitalized and only with the help of the ventilator and after several days he recovered and went home but he was really sick.
You can argue about the way you handled the emergency but you cannot argue about the existence of covid-19 in my humble opinion.
Tomorrow morning my wife, daughter and I will be swabbing. A nurse will come to the house for the modest fee of 306 euros.
I hope not to be positive too so I can move freely to help my loved ones who will have to stay several days in quarantine.
We have all been very scrupulous and careful but my sister, the person who has always been the most careful in the family, has been infected.
I conclude this post with some considerations But who has little money to live and has had contact with proven positive or has obvious symptoms how do you pay a swab 90 - 100 euros? If the members of the family are 4 the expense becomes exorbitant.
Who requires the swab because he has been in contact with an established positive, how long does he wait to receive the swab and find out if he is positive?
How long does it take the health care machine to get going and to investigate and ascertain the contacts had by the certified positive to avoid the spread of contagion?
Some answers I already know, others I will have in the days to come.
