Leofinance and My Road To 5000 LEO Power + LPUD and my LEO Power UP!
The Hive blockchain is an ever-expanding and evolving ecosystem. Four days ago (Oct. 11, 2022) there was the twenty-sixth Hard Fork of the Hive blockchain which added new, useful and interesting features to the blockchain such as the ability to separately delegate Hive Power and Resource Credits.
Another very interesting feature introduced with HF26 is the OBI (One Block Irreversibility) protocol that allows most transactions executed on Hive to become irreversible in less than a second.
Hive's blockchain has many utilities and the ability to create a community and create a second level token to reward and incentivize interaction and content publishing activity within a community is just one of the many utilities that Hive has.
I am subscribed to so many communities because so many are my interests and passions and one of the communities I have been subscribed to for a long time is the Leofinance community.
Leofinance is one of the most active and proactive communities on the Hive blockchain and is also very involved in onboarding new users on Hive and has created several useful and interesting projects such as Leo Threads which is the latest Twitter-style project created by the Leofinance development team.

My Road to 5000 LEO Power and my LEO Power Up
The LEO tokens are the tokens created by the Leofinance community to reward Hive users who post content using the front end of Leofinance or who simply use the tag leofinance in posts published on Hive.
Important note: Not all posts can use the Leofinance tag because Leofinance is not a generalist community. In the Leopedia FAQ section you can see the list of all allowed topics, which is very extensive anyway.
The LEO tokens are second-level tokens of the Hive blockchain and can be:
- sold
- transferred
- purchased
- delegated
- stacked
All of the operations I listed above are executable from any of the DEX of Hive's second-level tokens such as LeoDex, HiveEngine and Tribaldex
By the way, LeoDex is precisely the dex created by the Leofinance development team.
When a LEO token is put into stake it becomes a LEO Power (LP) token and the staking operation is called LEO Power UP:
My actual goal related to LEO tokens is to reach an amount of 5000 LEO Power. I have not set a deadline in terms of time to reach this goal but I will try to do so as soon as possible.
My main account is @libertycrypto27 with which I post content and interact on Hive but I have also created a curation account (@libertyleo27) with which I do not post content but vote on posts that have the leo or leofinance tag.
In the scheme below you can see the amount of LEO tokens (liquid and staked) I have accumulated to date.
From the date of the previous LPUD (September 15, 2022) to today, October 15, 2022, I have accumulated a total of 303.81 liquid LEO whose market value is 30.69 HIVE = $14.79.
Today I decided to do a LEO Power Up of 250 token LEO (LEO -> LP) and decided to hold on 53 liquid LEOs for the next LPUD.
In the table below you can see my progress towards 5000 LPs. From September 15, 2022 to today, October 15, 2022, I have increased my LEO Power by 250 units.
I am happy to record a higher LEO Power increase than I recorded in previous months. My goal is still far away but I am getting closer month by month and have completed 67% of my journey.
LPUD: Requirements and Awards
With the LEO Power Up I performed today, I participated in the LEO Power Up Day initiative for the fourth time.
I have only missed one LPUD so far (August 15, 2022) and I will try to participate in all upcoming LPUDs as I do every month also for the HPUD initiative which is instead an initiative related to Hive Power (HP) tokens.
The Leofinance Power Up Day is an initiative that all Hive users can participate in and there are also prizes up for grabs.
In the image below you can see the requirements to participate in the LPUD today, October 15, 2022.
Also this month like the previous month there are prizes to be won and there will be 8 winners who will be drawn from all participants of the October LPUD who have met all the requirements of the initiative. In the image below you can see the list of prizes.
There is also a prize that has no monetary value but I like to get it: a badge at https://hivebuzz.me/ (Power UP section).
Like the HPUD initiative, the #LPUD initiative will also be a monthly regular appointment for me and will also be an occasion to check my progress toward my goal of 5000 LEO Power.

Leofinance Power UP Day + I miei obiettivi su Leofinance
La blockchain di Hive è un ecosistema in continua espansione ed evoluzione. Quattro giorni fa (11 ottobre 2022) c'è stato il ventiseiesimo Hard Fork della blockchain di Hive che ha aggiunto nuove, utili e interessanti funzionalità alla blockchain come ad esempio la possibilità di delegare separatamente Hive Power e Resource Credits.
Un'altra funzionalità molto interessante introdotta con l'HF26 è il protocollo OBI (One Block Irreversibility) che permette alla maggior parte delle transazioni eseguite su Hive di diventare irreversibili in meno di un secondo.
La blockchain di Hive ha tante utilità e la possibilità di creare una comunità e di creare un token di secondo livello per premiare e incentivare l'attività di interazione e pubblicazione di contenuti all'interno di una comunità è solo una delle tante utilità che ha Hive.
Io sono iscritto a tante comunità perchè tanti sono i miei interessi e le mie passioni e una delle comunità a cui sono iscritto da molto tempo è la comunità di Leofinance.
Leofinance è una delle comunità più attive e propositive della blockchain di Hive ed è anche molto impegnata nell'attività di onboarding di nuovi utenti su Hive ed ha creato diversi progetti utili e interessanti come ad esempio Leo Threads che è l'ultimo progetto Twitter-style realizzato dal team di sviluppo di Leofinance.

Il mio percorso verso i 5000 LEO Power e il mio LEO Power Up
I token LEO sono i token creati dalla comunità di Leofinance per ricompensare gli utenti di Hive che pubblicano contenuti utilizzando il front end di Leofinance o che semplicemente utilizzano il tag leofinance nei post pubblicati su Hive.
Nota importante: non tutti i post possono utilizzare il tag Leofinance perchè Leofinance non è una comunità generalista. Nella sezione FAQ di Leopedia puoi vedere la lista di tutti gli argomenti ammessi che è comunque molto ampia.
Tutte le operazioni che ho elencato sopra sono effettuabili da uno qualsiasi dei DEX dei token di secondo livello di Hive come ad esempio LeoDex, HiveEngine e Tribaldex
Tra l'altro LeoDex è proprio il dex creato dal team di sviluppo di Leofinance.
Quando un token LEO viene messo in stake diventa un token LEO Power (LP) e l'operazione di staking si chiama Power UP:
Il mio obiettivo relativo ai token LEO è di raggiungere un quantitativo di 5000 LEO Power. Non ho fissato una scadenza in termini di tempo per raggiungere questo obiettivo ma cercherò di farlo nel più breve tempo possibile.
Il mio account principale è @libertycrypto27 con il quale pubblico contenuti e interagisco su Hive ma ho anche creato un curation account (@libertyleo27) con il quale non pubblico contenuti ma voto i post che hanno il tag leo o leofinance.
Nello schema seguente puoi vedere il quantitativo di token LEO (liquidi e staked) che ho accumulato fino ad oggi.
Dalla data del precedente LPUD (15 settembre 2022) ad oggi 15 ottobre 2022 ho accumulato un totale di 303.81 LEO liquidi il cui valore di mercato è di 30.69 HIVE = 14.79$.
Oggi ho deciso di fare un LEO Power Up di 250 token LEO (LEO -> LP) e ho deciso di conservare 53 LEO liquidi per il prossimo LPUD.
Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere il mio percorso verso i 5000 LP. Dal 15 settembre 2022 ad oggi 15 ottobre 2022 ho incrementato il mio LEO Power di 250 unità.
Sono contento di registrare un incremento di LEO Power superiore a quello che ho registrato nei mesi precedenti. Il mio obiettivo è ancora lontano ma mi sto avvicinando mese dopo mese e ho completato il 67% del mio percorso.
LPUD: Requisiti e Premi
Con il LEO Power Up che ho effettuato oggi ho partecipato per la quarta volta all'iniziativa LEO Power Up Day. Ho saltato solo un LPUD fino ad ora (15 agosto 2022) e cercherò di partecipare a tutti i prossimi LPUD come faccio ogni mese anche per l'iniziativa HPUD che è invece un iniziativa relativa ai token Hive Power (HP).
Il Leofinance Power Up Day è un'iniziativa a cui possono partecipare tutti gli utenti di Hive e ci sono anche dei premi in palio.
