Hello friends, I live in Potenza, a small town in the south of Italy. Phase 2 of the battle against the Corona Virus has finally begun. There have been no new people infected for more than seven days.
I can finally breathe some freedom. It is still necessary to keep your distance. It is necessary to always wear gloves and a mask but you can breathe a more peaceful and positive atmosphere.
Yesterday I went out with my daughter for a walk in the park near my house.
As we walked, a small artistic creation caught our attention: a giant size Corona Virus specimen placed under a tree.

A truly particular creation. Art in any of its forms has always fascinated me. Among other things, art is always an expression of creativity, passion and above all sensitivity. Art is capable of stirring hearts and has a direct and incisive power of communication.

The Corona Virus is an invisible enemy and finding a concrete and visible representation of it is a way to dispel a pinch of fear.

Who is the artist?
Honestly I do not know. On the tree there is a sign with the writing W.A.A.M.

I tried to search the internet but I found several results. I don't know if W.A.A.M. it is a cultural association or foundation.
I am in perfect harmony with the phrases written in the sign hanging on the tree and in particular in the following point:

The sign is written in Italian and this is the English translation:
This is an appeal for those who want to express themselves without submitting to the rules of the market, for those who want art as an integral part of life. Contemporary art dies continuously, freedom cannot do the same. Life like art.
I don't know who made this artistic creation but I liked it very much.
At the end of the sign there is an invitation:
Take a photo, let's make art viral.
Here I still fully agree. If art went viral we would all live in a better world.
Did you like the artistic creation in this post? What do you think of art?
