Hi Hivers and Splinterlands players, I've decided to give my Splinterlands card collection a boost.

Since I decided to upgrade my deck I bought two cards:

• Fiendish Harpy level 4 (Market Price: $14.81)
• Tortisian Chief level 4 (Market Price: $9.14).

I made two BID purchases on the https://peakmonsters.com/ marketplace to try to buy the following cards:

• Red Dragon (level 3)
• Gold Dragon (level 3)

. So far none of my purchase offers have been accepted, but that's normal because when you choose to buy with the BID purchase mode it takes more time but in return you have the possibility to buy a card at a lower price.

Today I chose to upgrade a card of the element Water which is one of my favourite elements.

The card is Medusa.

Medusa

Medusa is a Rare card that is part of two collections: Alpha and Beta.

In my card collection I have Medusa from the Beta collection upgraded to level 3.

Medusa of level 3 has the following stats:

• Has a low mana cost (4)
• Has 1 magic attack point
• Has 4 life points and no armor points.
• Has a low speed (2)
• It is the result of combining 5 level 1 cards.
• It has an ability: Stun (from level 3).

Thanks to the Stun ability, Medusa, whenever she attacks an opposing card, has a chance to block the attack of the opposing card for one round of the battle. This ability is especially useful when the battle rule is Heavy Hitters because all cards in play acquire the Knock Out ability that allows you to deal double damage to cards in a "Stun" state.

I would like to upgrade Medusa to level 5.

I've decided to upgrade Medusa to level 5 because it gains one more magic attack point and becomes a much more useful card to use in battle. By the way, the Water Element Summoner I use the most is Alric Stormbringher, who has the ability to increase the magic attack of summoned cards by one unit, and my upgraded Medusa would gain a total magic attack of 3 points.

Purchase Strategy

Level 5 Medusa is the result of combining 21 level 1 cards. My level 3 Medusa is the result of combining 5 level 1 cards, so to get Medusa to level 5 I need 16 more cards to combine.

My favourite way to buy Splinterlands cards is the BID purchase offer: a very useful feature provided by https://peakmonsters.com/ However, when I looked at the prices on the Splinterlands marketplace I found an already attractive price. As you can see in the following image, the player @sgt-dan has put Medusa level 4 up for sale for $1.43 (cost per card $0.13).

I didn't think twice and immediately bought Medusa level 4 at that price. I spent 2182.98 DEC.

Now I have two Medusa cards in my deck and to get Medusa level 5 I need to buy 5 more level 1 cards or a level 3 card.

I will try to pay a maximum of 0.13$ per card and I have made a BID. In the following image you can see the data I have entered in the "Configure BID" screen on the PeakMonsters website.

Now, as you can see from the next image, I have a total of 3 open BIDs and I just have to wait until some seller decides to accept my bids.

If in a few days no one has accepted my bids I will raise the value of my BIDs.

Ottimizzazione della mia Collezione di Carte:

MEDUSA - livello 5

Ciao Hivers e giocatori di Splinterlands, ho deciso di dare un'accellerata alla mia attività di potenziamento della mia collezione di carte di Splinterlands.

Fino ad oggi ho comprato due carte:

• Fiendish Harpy di livello 4 (Market Price: 14,81$)
• Tortisian Chief di livello 4 (Market Price: 9,14$)

Ho effettuato due offerte di acquisto BID sul mercato di https://peakmonsters.com/ per cercare di comprare le seguenti carte:

• Red Dragon (livello 3)
• Gold Dragon (livello 3)

Fino ad oggi nessuna mia offerta di acquisto è stata accettata ma è normale quando si sceglie di acquistare con la modalità di acquisto BID: ci vuole più tempo ma in compenso si ha la possibilità di acquistare una carta a prezzi inferiori.

Oggi ho scelto di potenziare una carta dell'elemento Water che è uno dei miei elementi preferiti.

La carta è Medusa.

Medusa

Medusa è una carta Rara che fa parte di due collezioni: Alpha e Beta.

Nella mia collezione di carte ho Medusa della collezione Beta potenziata al livello 3.

Medusa di livello 3 ha le seguenti statistiche:

• Ha un costo in mana basso (4)
• Ha 1 punto di attacco magico
• Ha 4 punti vita e non ha punti armatura.
• Ha una velocità bassa (2)
• E' il risultato della combinazione di 5 carte di livello 1.
• Ha un'abilità: Stun (dal livello 3).

Grazie all'abilità Stun, Medusa, ogni volta che attacca una carta avversaria, ha una possibilità di bloccare l'attacco della carta colpita per un round della battaglia. Quest'abilità è particolarmente utile quando la regola di battaglia è Heavy Hitters perchè tutte le carte in gioco acquisiscono l'abilità Knock Out che permette di infliggere un danno doppio alle carte in stato di "Stordimento".

Vorrei potenziare Medusa e portarla al livello 5.

Ho deciso di potenziare Medusa fino al livello 5 perchè così acquisisce un punto di attacco magico in più e diventa una carta molto più utile da usare in battaglia. Tra l'altro l'evocatore dell'elemento Water che uso di più è Alric Stormbringher che ha l'abilità di aumentare l'attacco magico delle carte evocate di un'unità e la mia Medusa potenziata acquisirebbe un attacco magico totale di 3 punti.

Strategia di Acquisto

Medusa di livello 5 è il risultato della combinazione di 21 carte di livello 1. La mia Medusa di livello 3 è il risultato della combinazione di 5 carte di livello 1 e quindi per far arrivare Medusa al livello 5 ho bisogno di altre 16 carte da combinare.

La mia modalità di acquisto preferita per comprare le carte di Splinterlands è l'offerta di acquisto BID: funzionalità molto utile messa a disposizione dal sito https://peakmonsters.com/ Però quando ho guardato i prezzi sul mercato di Splinterlands ho trovato un prezzo già interessante. Come puoi vedere nell'immagine seguente il giocatore @sgt-dan ha messo in vendita Medusa di livello 4 al prezzo di 1,43$ (costo per carta 0,13$).

Non ci ho pensato due volte e ho subito comprato Medusa di livello 4 a quel prezzo. Ho speso 2182,98 DEC

Adesso ho due carte Medusa nel mio deck e per avere Medusa di livello 5 ho bisogno di comprare altre 5 carte di livello 1 oppure una carta di livello 3.

Cercherò di pagare un massimo di 0,13 $ per carta e ho effettuato un'offerta di acquisto BID. Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere i dati che ho inserito nella schermata "Configure BID" del sito di PeakMonsters.

Adesso, come puoi vedere dall'immagine successiva, ho un totale di 3 offerte BID aperte e devo solo aspettare che qualche venditore decida di accettare le mie offerte di acquisto.

Se fra qualche giorno nessuno avrà accettato le mie offerte di acquisto alzerò il valore della mie offerte BID.
