Dcrops is a blockchain based farming game and is the latest game I decided to play.
If this is the first time you hear of the game of Dcrops I explain in brief how it works:
- you must buy land in which you must plant seeds
- from the seeds grow plants that produce fruits
- the fruits can be sold in exchange for "Share" points that allow you to participate in a seasonal ranking that has a duration of fifteen days.
- Players according to the placement in the seasonal ranking receive the tokens native to the game that are called CROPS.
The land and seeds are the NFTs of the game of dcrops. As in the real world, there are 4 seasons in the dCrops game (summer, spring, fall and winter) that are only 15 days long.
The season that is currently running on dcrops is Spring which started 4 days ago and will end in 11 days.
In the previous season (Winter) I had a total of 43 seeds and I used them all.
In the current season I have only 8 seeds that I can plant in the plots that I have available.
Two of the seeds that can be used in spring (1 Broccoli card and 1 Cauliflower card) I found inside a pack of cards I bought using the CROP tokens I earned in the previous season.
My problem is that I have 16 unused plots and with 8 seeds my gain in terms of CROP tokens will be very low.
So I decided to keep investing in buying Seed cards from Dcrops internal market.
The cheapest card to buy on the Dcrops market is the Broccoli card: 0.78 SWAP.HIVE Broccoli paper produces 2 quantities of product and takes 5 days to get to harvest. The selling price is 7 Share points, so the total Share points obtainable is 14.
The second cheapest card is the Kale card which costs 0.85 SWAP.HIVE.
The Kale card produces 2 quantities of produce and takes 6 days to harvest (1 day longer than the Broccoli card).
The selling price is equal to the Broccoli card fruits and is 7 Share points, so the total Share points obtainable is 14.
More expensive than the previous two cards is the Cauliflower card which has a selling price of 1.48 SWAP.HIVE. The Cauliflower card allows you to get 24 Share points in a season and needs 10 days to produce its fruits.
I didn't consider the Potato and Strawberry cards because they cost a lot: Potato: 6.3 SWAP.HIVE Strawberry: 40 SWAP.HIVE
I decided to buy 15 Broccoli cards and 1 Kael card and I spent in total 12.55 SWAP.HIVE
I decided to buy broccoli because they had the lowest purchase price and because they have a time interval of only 5 days to harvest versus 6 days for the Kale card and 10 days for the Cauliflower card.
Also if I bought 16 Cauliflower cards I would have spent 23.68 SWAP.HIVE and would have gotten 384 share points. Buying 15 Broccoli cards and 1 Kale card I spent 12.55 SWAP.HIVE and I will get 224 share points. Moreover in 5 days I could decide to buy other 16 Broccoli or Kale cards and in relation to the share points produced I would have a cost $/share points definitely cheaper than buying 16 Califlower cards.

La mia Strategia su DCROPS: Primavera
Dcrops è un gioco di farming basato su blockchain ed è l'ultimo gioco a cui ho deciso di giocare.
Se è la prima volta che senti parlare del gioco di Dcrops ti spiego in breve come funziona:
- devi comprare dei terreni nei quali devi piantare dei semi
- dai semi nascono delle piante che producono dei frutti
- i frutti possono essere venduti in cambio di punti "Share" che permettono di partecipare ad una classifica stagionale che ha una durata di quindici giorni.
- i giocatori in base al piazzamento nella classifica stagionale ricevono i token nativi del gioco che si chiamano CROPS.
I terreni e i semi sono gli NFT del gioco di dcrops. Come nel mondo reale, nel gioco di dCrops ci sono 4 stagioni (estate, primavera, autunno e inverno) che hanno una durata di soli 15 giorni.
La stagione che è in corso su Dcrops è la Primavera che è iniziata da 4 giorni e terminerà tra 11 giorni.
Nella stagione precedente (Inverno) avevo un totale di 43 semi e li ho utilizzati tutti.
Nella stagione attuale ho invece solo 8 semi che posso piantare nei plots che ho a disposizione.
Due dei semi utilizzabili in primavera (1 carta Broccoli e 1 Carta Cauliflower) li ho trovati all'interno di un pacco di carte che ho comprato utilizzando i token CROP che ho guadagnato nella stagione precedente.
Il mio problema è che ho 16 plots inutilizzati e con 8 semi il mio guadagno in termini di token CROP sarà molto basso.
Così ho deciso di continuare ad investire nell'acquisto di carte Seme dal mercato interno di Dcrops.
Le carta più economica da comprare sul mercato di Dcrops è la carta Broccoli: 0.78 SWAP.HIVE La carta broccoli produce 2 quantità di frutti e impiega 5 giorni per arrivare al raccolto. Il prezzo di vendita è di 7 punti Share e quindi il totale dei punti Share ottenibili è di 14.
La seconda carta più economica è la carta Kale che costa 0.85 SWAP.HIVE. La carta Kale produce 2 quantità di frutti e impiega 6 giorni per arrivare al raccolto (1 giorno in più rispetto alla carta Broccoli). Il prezzo di vendita è uguale ai frutti della carta Broccoli ed è di 7 punti Share e quindi il totale dei punti Share ottenibili è di 14.
Più costosa rispetto alle due carte precedenti è la carta Cauliflower che ha un prezzo di vendita di 1.48 SWAP.HIVE. La carta Cauliflower permette di ottenere in una stagione 24 punti Share e ha bisogno di 10 giorni per produrre i suoi frutti.
Non ho preso in considerazione le carte Potato e Strawberry perchè costano molto: Potato: 6.3 SWAP.HIVE Strawberry: 40 SWAP.HIVE
Ho deciso di comprare 15 carte Broccoli e 1 carta Kael e ho speso in totale 12.55 HIVE
Ho deciso di comprare i broccoli perchè avevano il prezzo di acquisto più basso e perchè hanno un intervallo di tempo di soli 5 giorni per arrivare al raccolto contro i 6 giorni della carta Kale e i 10 giorni della carta Cauliflower.
Inoltre se compravo 16 carte Cauliflower avrei speso 23.68 SWAP.HIVE e avrei ottenuto 384 punti share. Comprando 15 carte broccoli e 1 carta Kale ho speso 12.55 SWAP.HIVE e otterrò 224 punti share. Inoltre tra 5 giorni potrei decidere di comprare altre 16 carte Broccoli o Kale e in rapporto ai punti share prodotti avrei un costo $/punti share decisamente più conveniente rispetto all'acquisto di 16 carte Califlower.
