Today is February 1 and the first month of the year 2023 has already passed. I don't know if the same thing happens to you but the more the years go by, the more time seems to fly by and especially seems to get out of hand. It seems to me that little time has passed since I joined Hive but in reality it has been almost 4 years. In fact, it was March 5, 2019 when I discovered Hive's blockchain, and today I am still here setting goals and sharing my progress toward the growth goals I set for myself on Hive.
Of all the blockchain projects that I follow or have followed Hive is by far the blockchain project that I have been most involved in so far and that I enjoy the most and for that reason it is also the blockchain project that I spend the most time on because on Hive:
- I like writing content
- I like reading other authors' posts
- I like interacting and commenting
- I like playing and investing on Hive Games
- I like to invest in Hive Diesel Pools
- ...
There are really a lot of activities that I like to do on the Hive blockchain and that is why I have always tried to constantly increase my weight within the blockchain. My main goal on Hive so far has always been to increase my Hive Power and for that reason I have never done a Power Down.
In previous years I always set myself a very specific growth goal in terms of HP and I also set a time deadline to reach this goal but after reaching 30000 HP I removed this time deadline because my current goal is to reach Orca status and this goal is linked to an amount of HP that is not fixed but dynamic because it will most likely increase as time goes on.
Looking at the ranking of https://hivebuzz.me/ranking, today February 1 to acquire Orca status it is necessary to have an amount of HP greater than 55794 HP and less than or equal to 56009 HP because the first account to have Orca status above the dolphin with the most HP is @newageinv who has 56009 HP.
Today February 1, 2023 I have in my Hive wallet an amount of 32300.18 Hive Power (HP).
As you can see from the data in the table below, I still need to accumulate 23708.82 HP if I want to reach my goal, and I have completed 57.67% of my path to my goal.
In January, I increased my Hive Power by 622.03 HP.
On the Hive blockchain there are really so many activities that you can do and consequently there are also so many goals that you can set.
One of the secondary goals that I have been trying to achieve for a long time is to be able to publish one post a day on my Hive blog but even in the month of January I was not able to do that because I had so many commitments especially work commitments.
- August 2022: 10 published posts
- September 2022: 16 published posts
- October 2022: 17 published posts
- November 2022: 13 published posts
- December 2022: 15 published posts
- January 2023: 16 published posts
Consistency in publication will be an important element in achieving my goal related to HP tokens, and I hope to be able to increase the average number of published posts during 2023.
If consistency in publishing is an important element in growing on Hive there is an even more important element: interaction.
Every beginning of the month and thanks in part to writing my monthly reports I check my level of interaction on Hive.
I also set an annual goal related to interaction.
- 2023 Engagement Goal (total number of comments): 25000
On January 1, 2023 I had written a total of 18383 comments. Today February 1, 2023 the total is 18810 comments.
In January I wrote less than 500 comments which is the minimum goal I would like to reach each month and in February I will try to catch up by increasing my level of interaction.
Another goal I would like to achieve in 2023 is to enter the top 350 of Hive users with the most HP
This month I have to record, for the first time in many months, a loss of 2 positions in the rankings. On January 1 I was in position 442 while today I am in position 444. But this is still a positive figure because it means that those who were behind me chose to increase the amount of HP tokens.

Hive Power Up Day!
On Hive every first of the month is Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) and every month I always try to participate in this beautiful initiative.
During 2022 I participated 9 out of 12 times in the HPUD initiative but in 2023 I want to do 12 out of 12!
On January 1 I had done a Power Up of 782 HP. This month I will do a smaller Power Up than the previous one: 400 HP.
If you, like me, believe in the potential of the Hive blockchain and have a medium to long term vision you should participate every first of the month in the HIVE Power Up Day which is a nice initiative.
If you are not a Hive user and don't know the world of blockchains you have two options:
You can continue to be a simple number, a simple source of data and wealth for centralized projects like Facebook & Co. without receiving anything or almost anything in return.
You can choose to be free, you can choose to have full ownership of your data and content and you can start your adventure on Hive.
The Hive blockchain is more Unique than Rare!
What makes Hive's blockchain more unique than rare are its peculiarities:
- Hive is a Delegate Proof of Stake (DPOS) blockchain on which a large ecosystem of sites, projects and communities "lives".
- Hive is completely decentralized
- Hive is very fast: 3 second block speeds.
- Hive has no transaction costs
- Hive has many utilities and features
- Hive has a big and beautiful community

Oggi è il 1 febbraio e il primo mese dell'anno 2023 è già passato. Non so se succede la stessa cosa anche a te ma più passano gli anni e più il tempo sembra volare e soprattutto sembra scapparmi di mano. Mi sembra che sia passato poco tempo da quando mi sono iscritto su Hive ma in realtà sono passati quasi 4 anni. Era infatti il 5 marzo 2019 quando ho scoperto la blockchain di Hive e oggi sono ancora qui a fissare obiettivi e a condividere i miei progressi verso gli obiettivi di crescita che mi sono posto su Hive.
Tra tutti i progetti blockchain che seguo o che ho seguito Hive è in assoluto il progetto blockchain che più mi ha coinvolto fino ad ora e che più mi piace e per questo motivo è anche il progetto blockchain a cui dedico più tempo perchè su Hive:
- mi piace scrivere contenuti
- mi piace leggere i post degli altri autori
- mi piace interagire e commentare
- mi piace giocare e investire sugli Hive Games
- mi piace investire nelle Hive Diesel Pools
- ...
Sono davvero tante le attività che mi piace fare sulla blockchain di Hive e per questo motivo ho sempre cercato di aumentare costantemente il mio peso all'interno della blockchain. Il mio obiettivo principale su Hive fino ad ora è stato sempre quello di aumentare il mio Hive Power e per questo motivo non ho mai fatto un Power Down.
Negli anni precedenti mi sono sempre posto un obiettivo di crescita ben preciso in termini di HP e ho fissato anche una scadenza temporale per raggiungere questo obiettivo ma dopo aver raggiunto i 30000 HP ho rimosso questa scadenza temporale perchè il mio attuale obiettivo è di raggiungere lo status di Orca e questo obiettivo è collegato ad un quantitativo di HP che non è fisso ma dinamico perchè con molta probabilità aumenterà con il passare del tempo.
Guardando il ranking del sito https://hivebuzz.me/ranking, oggi 1 febbraio per acquisire lo status di Orca è necessario avere un quantitativo di HP superiore a 55794 HP e inferiore o uguale a 56009 HP perchè il primo account ad avere lo status di orca sopra il delfino con più HP è @newageinv che ha 56009 HP.
Oggi 1 febbraio 2023 ho nel mio Hive wallet un quantitativo di 32300.18 Hive Power (HP).
Come puoi vedere dai dati presenti nella tabella seguente devo accumulare ancora 23708.82 HP se voglio raggiungere il mio obiettivo e ho completato il 57.67% del mio percorso verso il mio obiettivo.
Nel mese di gennaio ho aumentato il mio Hive Power di 622.03 HP.
Sulla blockchain di Hive sono davvero tante le attività che è possibile fare e di conseguenza sono anche tanti gli obiettivi che è possibile fissare.
Uno degli obiettivi secondari che cerco di raggiungere da molto tempo è quello di riuscire a pubblicare un post al giorno sul mio Hive blog ma anche nel mese di gennaio non ci sono riuscito perchè ho avuto tanti impegni soprattutto lavorativi.

La costanza nella pubblicazione sarà un elemento importante per il raggiungimento del mio obiettivo relativo ai token HP e spero di riuscire ad aumentare la media dei post pubblicati nel corso del 2023.
Se la costanza nella pubblicazione è un elemento importante per crescere su Hive c'è un elemento ancora più importante: l'interazione.
Ogni inizio del mese e grazie anche alla scrittura dei miei report mensili controllo il mio livello di interazione su Hive.
Ho anche fissato un obiettivo annuale relativo all'interazione.

Il 1 gennaio 2023 avevo scritto un totale di 18383 commenti. Oggi 1 febbraio 2023 il totale è di 18810 commenti.
Nel mese di gennaio ho scritto meno di 500 commenti che è l'obiettivo minimo che vorrei raggiungere ogni mese e nel mese di febbraio cercerò di recuperare aumentando il mio livello di interazione.

Hive Power Up Day!
Su Hive ogni primo del mese è il Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) e ogni mese cerco sempre di partecipare a questa bella iniziativa.
Nel corso del 2022 ho partecipato 9 volte su 12 all'iniziativa HPUD ma nel 2023 voglio fare 12 su 12!
Il 1 gennaio avevo fatto un Power Up di 782 HP. Questo mese farò un Power Up più piccolo del precedente: 400 HP.
