In real life the summer season is underway, today is August 13 and it's not a day like any other for me because after a heavy and tiring year, for many reasons, a year full of work commitments, I finally give myself a week's vacation at the beach with my family. In the game of Dcrops, however, the temperatures are much lower because the autumn season has just ended and the winter season has just begun.
If this is the first time you hear about the game of Dcrops I'll explain in brief what it is.
Dcrops (https://www.dcrops.com/) is a blockchain-based farming game that runs on the Hive blockchain.
I really like the idea behind the Dcrops game because I love nature. In the game of Dcrops my virtual role, as well as that of all its players, is the role of the agricultural entrepreneur and the aim of the game is to produce as many agricultural products as possible. For agricultural production it is necessary to use two types of cards (NFT).
- land cards (Land)
- seed cards (Seed)
In a previous post of mine I have explained in detail my strategy to buy Dcrops cards and I have given some advices for new players.
My results in the previous season: Fall
In the fall season I used 33 Seed cards:
- 11 Garlic cards
- 17 Carrot cards
- 3 Pumpkin cards
- 2 Beetroot cards
In the fall season, I used all the seed cards I had and sold all my crops for Share points and got 2265 CROP tokens as a reward.
Today August 13, 2021 the value of 2265 CROP tokens is 5.23 HIVE (Highest Bid on Hive Engine).
The last purchase of CROP tokens on Hive Engine was executed at a price of 0.00590 per CROP token.
If I could sell my CROP tokens at the same price as the last sale on Hive Engine I would get 13.36 HIVE.
I am leaving and will be on vacation for 7 days so unlike previous seasons, I will choose what to do with my CROP tokens (buy a pack of cards, shop the market or just sell) when I return from my vacation.
My strategy in the current season: Winter
The winter season started one day ago and will end in 14 days and 9 hours.
Unlike the beginnings of the previous seasons of Dcrops this season I have a number of seed cards that allows me to use all the plots of Land cards I have available and therefore I do not need to buy, at least initially, more seed cards.
I have a total of 44 seed cards that can be used during the fall season:
- 11 Peas cards
- 27 Radish cards
- 4 Cabbage cards
- 1 Onion card
- 1 Bell Pepper card
Seed cards are useless without Land cards. I have a total of 17 Land cards:
- 3 Awesome Land (3 plots)
- 4 Fertile Land (2 plots)
- 10 Average Farmland (1 plot)
Thanks to the characteristics of my Land cards, I can plant 27 seed cards at the same time. Of my 44 seed cards, I planted 27 cards. Of these 27 cards only the Bell Pepper card will occupy a plot for the duration of the season because it does not have a cooldown period while all other cards I can only use once during the entire winter season. The Peas cards have a production period of 4 days and therefore in 4 days I will have 11 free plots in which to plant 11 of the 17 cards that I have not yet used.
My investment in Dcrops
When I signed up to play Dcrops I set a limit on the value of my investment: 100 HIVE. So far I have invested a total of 91.13 HIVE.
My strategy in farming games is always the same and it is as follows:
- First phase: I invest the budget that I have decided to invest
- Second phase: I reach the point of Break Even
- Third phase: I play and invest lightly.
I have invested 91.13 HIVE out of the 100 HIVE that I have allocated to the game of Dcrops and therefore I still have a margin of maneuver of just under 9 HIVE.
With the latest rewards received I have a total of 2727 CROP tokens:
- 2265 CROP tokens in the in-game wallet
- 462 CROP tokens in the Hive Engine wallet
To reach my break-even point I still need to receive a total of 84.84 HIVE worth of rewards.
Note: for personal choice in the calculation of my break-even point I do not consider the value of the cards in my collection but only the value of the rewards received.
Soon two new features will be active in the game of Dcrops:
- Holding Rewards
- Quests
These two new features will allow players to receive additional rewards to those currently provided by the Share points leaderboard.
For this reason, and in all likelihood, I will wait to see the new features active before focusing on reaching the break-even point, and thus may even deviate slightly from my initial strategy.

La mia stagione Invernale su DCROPS
Nella vita reale è in corso la stagione estiva, oggi è il 13 agosto e non è un giorno come tutti gli altri per me perchè dopo un anno pesante e stancante, per tanti motivi, un anno pieno di impegni di lavoro, mi regalo finalmente una settimana di vacanza al mare insieme alla mia famiglia. Nel gioco di Dcrops, invece, le temperature sono molto più basse perchè è appena terminata la stagione autunale ed è appena iniziata la stagione invernale.
Se è la prima volta che senti parlare del gioco di Dcrops ti spiego in breve cos'è.
Dcrops (https://www.dcrops.com/) è un gioco di farming basato su blockchain che funziona sulla blockchain di Hive.
L'idea alla base del gioco di Dcrops mi piace molto perchè amo la natura. Nel gioco di Dcrops il mio ruolo virtuale, come quello di tutti i suoi giocatori, è il ruolo dell'imprenditore agricolo e lo scopo del gioco è di produrre il maggior numero di prodotti agricoli. Per la produzione agricola è necessario utilizzare due tipologie di carte (NFT).
- carte terreno (Land)
- carte seme (Seed)
In un mio precedente post ho spiegato nel dettaglio la mia strategia di acquisto delle carte di Dcrops e ho dato alcuni consigli per i nuovi giocatori.
I miei risultati nella precedente stagione: Autunno
Nella stagione autunnale ho utilizzato 33 carte Seme:
- 11 carte Garlic
- 17 carte Carrot
- 3 carte Pumpkin
- 2 carte Beetroot
Nella stagione autunnale ho utilizzato tutte le carte seme in mio possesso e ho venduto tutti i miei prodotti agricoli in cambio di punti Share e ho ottenuto come ricompensa 2265 token CROP.
Il valore di 2265 token CROP è di 5.23 HIVE (Highest Bid su Hive Engine).
L'ultimo acquisto dei token CROP su Hive Engine è stato eseguito al prezzo di 0.00590 per token CROP.
Se riuscissi a vendere i miei token CROP allo stesso prezzo dell'ultima vendita su Hive Engine otterrei 13.36 HIVE.
Sono in partenza e sarò in vacanza per 7 giorni e per questo motivo, a differenza delle precedenti stagioni, sceglierò cosa fare con i miei token CROP (comprare un pacco di carte, fare acquisti sul mercato o semplicemente vendere) quando ritornerò dalla mia vacanza.
La mia strategia nella stagione in corso: Inverno
La stagione invernale è iniziata da un giorno e terminerà fra 14 giorni e 9 ore.
A differenza degli inizi delle precedenti stagioni di Dcrops in questa stagione ho un numero di carte seme che mi permette di utilizzare tutti i plots delle carte Land che ho a disposizione e quindi non ho necessità di comprare, almeno inizialmente, altre carte seme.
Ho un totale di 44 carte seme utilizzabili durante la stagione autunnale:
- 11 carte Peas
- 27 carte Radish
- 4 carte Cabbage
- 1 carta Onion
- 1 carta Bell Pepper
Le carte seme sono inutilizzabili senza le carte Land. Io ho un totale di 17 carte Land:
- 3 Awesome Land (3 plots)
- 4 Fertile Land (2 plots)
- 10 Average Farmland (1 plots)
Grazie alle caratteristiche delle mie carte Land, posso piantare 27 carte seme contemporaneamente. Delle mie 44 carte seme ho piantato 27 carte. Di queste 27 carte solo la carta Bell Pepper occuperà un plot per tutta la durata della stagione perchè non ha un periodo di Cooldown mentre tutte le altre carte le potrò utilizzare una sola volta durante tutta la stagione invernale. Le carte Peas hanno un periodo di produzione di 4 giorni e quindi fra 4 giorni avrò 11 plot liberi in cui piantare 11 delle 17 carte che non ho ancora utilizzato.
Il mio investimento su Dcrops
Quando mi sono iscritto al gioco di Dcrops ho fissato un limite al valore del mio investimento: 100 HIVE. Fino ad oggi ho investito un totale di 91.13 HIVE.
La mia strategia nei giochi di farming è sempre la stessa ed è la seguente:
- Prima fase: investo il budget che ho deciso di investire
- Seconda fase: raggiungo il punto di Break Even
- Terza fase: gioco e investo a cuor leggero.
Ho investito 91.13 HIVE dei 100 HIVE che ho destinato al gioco di Dcrops e quindi ho ancora un margine di manovra di poco meno di 9 HIVE.
Con le ultime ricompense ricevute ho un totale di 2727 token CROP:
- 2265 token CROP nel wallet interno al gioco
- 462 token CROP nel wallet di Hive Engine
Per raggiungere il mio punto di pareggio devo ricevere ancora un totale di ricompense del valore di 84,84 HIVE.
Nota: per scelta personale nel calcolo del mio punto di pareggio non considero il valore delle carte della mia collezione ma solo il valore delle ricompense ricevute.
Presto saranno attive due nuove funzionalità nel gioco di Dcrops:
- Holding Rewards
- Quests
Queste due novità permetteranno di ricevere ricompense aggiuntive a quelle previste attualmente dalla classifica dei punti Share. Per questo motivo e con molta probabilità aspetterò di vedere attive le nuove funzionalità prima di focalizzarmi sul raggiungimento del punto di pareggio e quindi potrei anche discostarmi leggermente dalla mia strategia iniziale.
