Hello friends, It's been a little over a month since I started playing the Rising Star game.
It is a game that I really like and that takes very little time a day.
In this post I will delve into the main aspect of the Rising Star game: the Missions Section. In particular I will consider the missions of the Home Town and Local Gig Circuit zones. I will also illustrate my strategy that I have followed to date.

Short Introduction of Rising Star
If this is the first time you've heard about Rising Star I'll tell you in brief what it is.
What's Rising Star?

Rising Star is a fun and easy to play game.
The goal of the game is to create a music band and become a music star.
The game is in an early development phase: the Alpha version. For this reason some features are planned but not yet developed.
Rising Star is a game that I have classified as "No Risk" because it does not require any type of initial investment!

- Login mode: Hive Keychain only.
After this brief introduction I'll move on to the main topic of this post.
The Missions
The Missions are the main part of the game because they allow you to earn tokens STARBITS. The more missions you complete and the more STARBITS you accumulate and the more your level in the game will grow.
The game level is indicated by the bar that you can see in the next picture.

My current level is level 23
Mission Requirements
Each mission has 4 requirements to fulfill:

-
a minimum number of Fans
-
a certain Level
-
a quantity of time needed to complete the mission
-
a minimum amount of energy.
The level of the game is one of the main requirements of the missions. The other two main requirements are: Fan and Energy.
Fans
All new players receive an initial card called "The Busker" which allows them to acquire a fixed number of Fans equal to 10. 10 Fans are just the requirement for the first mission called Illegal Busking.
By completing the missions you can also receive a number of Fans "temporary" that will be added to the fixed value obtained from the cards in possession. The temporary number of Fans obtained from a mission has a duration of 12 hours. Beyond this time limit the number of Fans obtained from the mission is reset to zero.
If you are lucky, moreover, from the completion of a mission you can also get rewards that increase the energy available.
The energy
The first mission requires an amount of energy equal to 15%. The energy available in Rising Star is indicated by the following image bar.

There are 3 different zones: Home Town, Local Gig Circuit and Country Tour.

Each zone has a list of missions that you can complete and each mission has different entry requirements to access the mission.
In each zone, as the requirements of the missions increase, so does the reward that can be obtained.
The missions of the Home Town zone
Just entered the Rising Star game the only accessible area is the Home Town zone
There are a total of seven missions in the Home Town zone and you can see them in the next picture.

The best mission, that rewards with more STARBITS is the Saturday Headline mission.

The energy is recharged by 100% in 8 hours (1% every 5 minutes), so if you start a new mission precisely every 8 hours you can complete a total of about three missions per day.
Each mission has a minimum and maximum number of STARBITS that you can get. The prize of the Saturday Headline mission is a random amount of STARBITS in the following range (350-1424 STARBITS).
So completing three missions allows you to earn:
- In the worst case 1050 STARBITS per day. 350 STARBITS * 3 (number of missions) = 1050 STARBITS
- In average case 2661 STARBITS per day. [(350 + 1424)/2] * 3(number of missions) = 2661 STARBITS
- In the best case 3072 STARBITS per day. 1424 STARBITS * 3 (number of missions) = 4272 STARBITS
All with only three clicks per day!
Obviously the worst case and the best case are the most unlikely, while the average case is the one that is most likely and will occur on average.
The missions of the Local Gig Circuit zone
The requirements for access to the Local Gig Circuit zone are as follows:
- Level 20
- i6 Mid Range Acoustic Card

At the time I am writing this post, the lowest price on the market for the i6 Mid Range Acoustic card is 7000 STARBITS (3.57 HIVE).

The Local Mini Tour Support mission requires:
- 1200 Fans
- the level 55
- 300 minutes (Time required to complete)
- 100% energy The energy is recharged by 100% in 8 hours (1% every 5 minutes), so if you start a new mission precisely every 8 hours you can complete a total of about three missions per day.
The Local Mini Tour Support mission reward is a random amount of STARBITS in the following range (750-3026 STARBITS).
So completing three missions allows you to earn:
-
In the worst case 2250 STARBITS per day. 750 STARBITS * 3 (number of missions) = 2250 STARBITS
-
In average case 5664 STARBITS per day. [(750 + 3026)/2] * 3(number of missions) = 5664 STARBITS
-
In the best case 9078 STARBITS per day. 3026 STARBITS * 3 (number of missions) = 9078 STARBITS
Obviously the average case is the most probable.
Mission Band Auditions
The Band Auditions mission has the highest requirements (number Fans and number Level) of the entire Local Gig Circuit area.
The Band Auditions mission** requires:
- 1500 Fan
- the level 75
- 240 minutes (Time required to complete)
- 100% energy
The maximum prize in STARBITS is very low (1-30) but the mission allows you to get a band member.

Unlocking the 4 cards Skater, Goth, Punk, Glam Rocker is the requirement to access the next area: Country Tour.
I haven't arrived to the Country Tour zone yet and when I get there I will write a post about this game zone.
Considerations and Strategy.
In order to access the mission Local Mini Tour Support you need 1200 Fans To be able to access the mission Band Auditions you need 1500 Fans
The number of Fans is a very important element in the game Rising Star.
To get 1500 fans (fixed and not temporary) you need to buy at least two cards from the Marketplace section of Rising Star.
In the moment I write this post, the solution that I recommend and that I consider the cheapest is the purchase of two cards of the category Vehicles: E2 Limo and R10 Touring Coach.
The lowest price on the card market E2 Limo is 14.5 SWAP.HIVE. The E2 Limo card guarantees you 1000 fans.

-
3. Reach level 20 and perform the Saturday Headline mission.
-
4. Reach level 40 and perform the Record a Demo mission. In order to complete the mission Record a Demo you must purchase the i6 Mid Range Acoustic Card (7000 - 7500 STARBITS). At this point you will already have enough STARBITS to buy enough cards to get at least 1200 fans.
-
5. Reach level 55 and perform the Local Mini Tour Support mission.
-
6. Reach level 75 to build your band and meet the requirements to enter the next zone.
Once you have passed a number of Fans equal to 1000 a new factor comes into play: the EGO but I will tell you about this in a next post.
Conclusion
This is the strategy that I chose to follow in the game Rising Star. A fun game that doesn't require any initial investment. I chose to buy two packs of cards and I bought one card from the market but this was my personal strategic choice.
To play and earn STARBITS you don't need to buy any cards. But if you want to increase your game level quickly you have to buy some selected cards from the game market.
The game can also be played from smartphones and until today (September 12, 2020) and in about 42 days (note that I skipped a few days of play) I have accumulated a total of 45532 STARBITS on my game account.
