Hello friends and players of Splinterlands, in a few hours will end another season of Splinterlands, my thirtieth season since I became a player of Splinterlands. At the beginning of the season, about 15 days ago, I set myself the goal of reaching at least the Champion III league. It's a goal that I've been pursuing for several seasons and precisely since the introduction of the league tables.
I am currently in the Diamond II league, have a rating of 3185 points and a Power score of 350455.
My end of season strategy
My Power rating does not allow me to make it to the Champion league because the minimum requirement is a Power rating of 500000 points.
In detail my strategy is the following: As soon as I reach the rating score required to advance a league I go to the Peakmonsters market and rent a number of cards that allow me to meet the Power score requirement for entry into the higher league.
I primarily rent level 3-4 legendary cards because:
- they have a good power score (conversion value to DEC)
- they have very useful abilities in battle.
As you can see from the image below, so far I have rented 8 cards:
- Diamond Dragon, Untamed, Level 4
- Fire Demon, Alpha, Level 6
- Halfling Alchemist, Promo, Level 4
- No.2 Fiendish Harpy, Promo, Level 6
- High Priest Darius, Untamed, Level 3
- Red Dragon, Promo, Level 4
- Gold Dragon, Beta, Level 4
I also made a small mistake: I rented 2 Fiendish Harpy, Promo, Level 6
I rented cards with Termination Escrow equal to 0 or close to 0 because I can decide at any time to terminate the rental contract without paying a penalty.
The total daily cost of the rented cards is $0.25 (about 2 HIVE).
Will I reach my goal? I hope so and I will find out in a few hours....

DEC Tokens are the Non Fungible Tokens of the game of Splinterlands.
DEC tokens maintain a good value even if lower than the value they had the day before the first land pre-sale.
The Death element is not my favorite element and in fact completing the daily mission was a real feat. Not only do I complete the mission in 20 battles:
- 5 victories
- 15 defeats but I also lose a lot of rating points and thus slow down my race to the Champion league.
And here is the reward I got for completing the daily mission.
Out of 10 chests I find:
- 1 single card (Centauri Mage - value $0.045)
- 3 potions
- 74 DEC Maybe it was better if I skipped this mission :)
You can't be lucky all the time and the rewards can be exciting or disappointing but in any case playing, having fun and being rewarded at the same time is always something that no traditional game allows you to do.

# Ciao amici e giocatori di Splinterlands, tra poche ore terminerà un'altra stagione di Splinterlands, la mia trentesima stagione da quando sono diventato un giocatore di Splinterlands. All'inizio della stagione, circa 15 giorni fa, mi ero posto l'obbiettivo di arrivare almeno alla lega Champion III. La mia strategia di fine stagione
Il mio punteggio Power non mi permette di arrivare in lega Champion perchè il requisito minimo da soddisfare è un punteggio Power di 500000 punti.
Nel dettaglio la mia strategia è la seguente: Appena raggiungo il punteggio di rating necessario per avanzare di lega vado sul mercato di Peakmonsters e noleggio un numero di carte che mi permette di soddisfare il requisito del punteggio Power richiesto per l'ingresso nella lega superiore.
Noleggio principalmente carte leggendarie di livello 3-4 perchè:
- hanno un buon punteggio power (valore di conversione in DEC)
- hanno abilità molto utili in battaglia.
Come puoi vedere dall'immagine seguente, fino ad ora ho noleggiato 8 carte:
- Diamond Dragon, Untamed, Level 4
- Fire Demon, Alpha, Level 6
- Halfling Alchemist, Promo, Level 4
- N.2 Fiendish Harpy, Promo, Level 6

Ho fatto anche un piccolo errore: Ho noleggiato 2 Fiendish Harpy, Promo, Level 6
Ho noleggiato carte con il Termination Escrow uguale a 0 o prossimo allo 0 perchè posso decidere in qualsiasi momento di interrompere il contratto di noleggio senza pagare una penale.
Il costo giornaliero totale delle carte noleggiate è di 0.25 $ (circa 2 HIVE).
Riuscirò a raggiungere il mio obbiettivo? Spero di si e lo scoprirò fra poche ore...

I Token DEC sono i Non Fungible Token del gioco di Splinterlands
I token DEC mantengono un buon valore anche se inferiore al valore che avevano il giorno precedente alla prima pre-vendita dei terreni.
L'elemento Morte non è il mio elemento preferito e infatti completare la missione giornaliera è stata una vera e propria impresa. Non solo completo la missione in 20 battaglie:
- 5 vittorie
- 15 sconfitte ma perdo anche molti punti di rating e quindi rallento la mia corsa alla lega Champion.
Ed ecco la ricompensa che ho ottenuto per il completamento della missione giornaliera.
Su 10 forzieri trovo:
- 1 sola carta (Centauri Mage - valore 0.045$)
- 3 pozioni
- 74 DEC
Con il senno di poi era meglio se la saltavo questa missione :)
Non si può essere sempre fortunati e le ricompense possono essere esaltanti o deludenti ma in ogni caso giocare, divertirsi e allo stesso tempo venire ricompensati è sempre qualcosa che nessun gioco tradizionale permette di fare.
