Hello friends and players of Splinterlands, in a little over 1 day will end another season of Splinterlands.
This is my 31st season since becoming a Splinterlands player. I've been trying to get to Champion III for six straight seasons now, but I end up in Diamond II, so I've set myself a difficult but less ambitious goal for this season: get to the Diamond I league.
Will I be able to reach my goal?
I am currently in the Gold I league, have a rating of 2628 points and a Power score of 353805.
Renting cards in the last days of the season has become a routine.
I rent mainly legendary cards of level 3-4 because:
- they have a good power score (conversion value to DEC)
- they have very useful abilities in battle.
As you can see from the image below, the 9 cards I rented are::
- Lord Arianthus, Reward, Level 3
- Spirit of the Forest, Beta, Level 4
- Diamond Dragon, Untamed, Level 4
- High Priest Darius, Untamed, Level 4
- Fire Demon, Alpha, Level 6
- Red Dragon, Promo, Level 4
- Gold Dragon, Beta, Level 4
- Fendish Harpy, Promo, Level 6
- Tortisian Chief, Untamed, Level 4
Looking at the image above you may have noticed that I only rent cards that have a rental contract with the Termination Escrow equal to 0. If the Termination Escrow is equal to 0 I can decide at any time to terminate the rental contract without paying a penalty.
The total daily cost of the cards I rented is $0.23 (about 2 HIVE).
I'm considering renting two summoners at the highest level to have more strength in battle on the last day of the season....
But now let's take a look at the trend of DEC tokens that are the Non Fungible Tokens of the Splinterlands game
DEC
As you can see from the image below the DEC tokens maintain a good value and the last days show a slight increase.
The days when 1 DEC was worth less than 0.003 HIVE are getting farther and farther away and this is definitely a good sign for the Splinterlands game and for us players. For example, on August 1, 2020, 1 DEC was worth 0.00295 HIVE. On December 15, 2020 the value of a DEC was 0.00599 HIVE (Highest Bid). Today December 29, 2020 the value of a DEC is 0.006828 HIVE (Highest Bid).
DEC tokens rank first in daily trading volume followed by LEO and SIM tokens.
SPT
The other tokens created by Splinterlans are the SPT tokens. SPT tokens are not directly related to the game of Splinterlands because they can not be used to buy cards and other items of the game (although rumors speak of a future use) but are related to the activity of writing posts with Splinterlands topic. In fact when I write a post like this I always use the tags splinterlands and spt to receive not only HIVE but also SPT tokens.
Compared to DEC tokens the SPT tokens have a much lower value.
Today December 29, 2020 the value of an SPT is 0.001170 HIVE (Highest Bid).
Although the value is low and the daily volume is a few dollars I continue to accumulate SPT tokens and my goal is to reach 1 million SPT tokens (staked).
Now I say goodbye because the season of Splinterlands is coming to an end and I have battles to win ;)

Ciao amici e giocatori di Splinterlands, tra poco più di 1 giorno terminerà un'altra stagione di Splinterlands.
E' la mia trentunesima stagione da quando sono diventato un giocatore di Splinterlands. Sono sei stagioni consecutive che cerco di arrivare in lega Champion III ma termino in lega Diamond II e per questo motivo mi sono posto un obbiettivo difficile ma meno ambizioso per la stagione in corso: arrivare in lega Diamond I.
Riuscirò a raggiungere il mio obbiettivo?
Al momento sono in lega Gold I, ho un rating di 2628 punti e un punteggio Power di 353805.
Il mio punteggio Power mi permette di arrivare al massimo in lega Diamond II mentre il requisito per la lega Diamond I è di 400000 punti power. Se supererò il punteggio di rating di 3400 punti sbloccherò l'accesso alla lega Diamond I noleggiando carte dal mercato di Peakmonsters(https://peakmonsters.com/).
Ormai noleggiare carte negli ultimi giorni della stagione è diventata una consuetudine.
Noleggio principalmente carte leggendarie di livello 3-4 perchè:
- hanno un buon punteggio power (valore di conversione in DEC)
- hanno abilità molto utili in battaglia.
Come puoi vedere dall'immagine seguente, le 9 carte che ho noleggiato sono::

Avrai sicuramente notato che noleggio solo carte che hanno un contratto di noleggio con il Termination Escrow uguale a 0. Se il Termination Escrow è uguale a 0 posso decidere in qualsiasi momento di interrompere il contratto di noleggio senza pagare una penale.
Il costo totale giornaliero delle carte che ho noleggiato è di 0.25 $ (circa 2 HIVE).
Sto valutando se è il caso di noleggiare due evocatori al massimo livello per avere più forza in battaglia nell'ultimo giorno della stagione...
Ma adesso diamo uno sguardo all'andamento dei token DEC che sono i Non Fungible Token del gioco di Splinterlands
DEC
Come puoi vedere dall'immagine seguente i token DEC mantengono un buon valore e gli ultimi giorni fanno registrare anche una leggera risalita.

Sono sempre più lontani i giorni in cui 1 DEC valeva meno di 0.003 HIVE e questo è decisamente un buon segnale per il gioco di Splinterlands e per noi giocatori. Ad esempio il 1 Agosto 2020 1 DEC valeva 0.00295 HIVE. Il 15 Dicembre 2020 il valore di un DEC era di 0.00599 HIVE (Highest Bid). Oggi 29 Dicembre 2020 il valore di un DEC è di 0.006828 HIVE (Highest Bid).
I token DEC sono al primo posto per volume di scambio giornaliero seguiti da i token LEO e SIM.
SPT
Gli altri token creati da Splinterlans sono i token SPT I token SPT non sono collegati direttamente al gioco di Splinterlands perchè non possono essere utilizzati per acquistare carte e altri elementi del gioco (anche se rumors parlano di un futuro utilizzo) ma sono collegati all'attività di scrittura di post con argomento Splinterlands. Infatti quando scrivo un post come questo utilizzo sempre i tag splinterlands ed spt per ricevere non solo HIVE ma anche token SPT.
Rispetto ai token DEC i token SPT hanno un valore molto inferiore.
Oggi 29 Dicembre 2020 il valore di un SPT è di 0.001170 HIVE (Highest Bid).
Anche se il valore è basso e il volume giornaliero è di pochi dollari io continuo ad accumulare i token SPT e il mio obbiettivo è di arrivare a 1 milione di token SPT (staked).
