Stardom Play is an idle game built and developed on the Hive blockchain. The theme of the game is cinema and the game mechanisms are very simple and are very similar to another hive-based game which is Rising Star which I have been playing since 2020.

I started playing on Stardom Play on Feb. 13, 2023, 14 days ago, when I published a post sharing my first impressions and my first purchases of NFTs. You can read my first overview on Stardom Play by clicking on the following link.

In today's post, I focus on the financial aspect of Stardom Play by sharing in addition to my game progress, my financial evaluations and the earnings I have obtained after 14 days.

Stardom Play is a game that can be played in two modes:

• free to play
• play to earn

Those who choose the free to play mode can collect game rewards but can only play the first game mission and can only play that until they increase their level of play and their number of fans.

Those who choose the play to earn mode buy packs of cards and/or Nfts to increase the number of Fans to meet the requirements of missions after the first one that have greater rewards.

I chose to play in the play to earn mode because I decided to purchase NFTs from the marketplace using https://nftm.art/buy/stardom with the goal of advancing faster in the game and at the same time collecting more rewards.

The in-game rewards are the STARDOM tokens that are the reward of each mission. For example, the first mission reward (Casting Call) is a random amount of STARDOM tokens within the range of: 1-15 STARDOM.

STARDOM tokens are second-level tokens on the Hive blockchain and can be sold, purchased, and transferred from one of Hive's second-level token DEXs such as Hive Engine, TribalDex, and LeoDex.

Today, February 27, 2023 1 STARDOM has a value of:

• 0.00047800 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0002188 (Lowest Ask).
• 0.00045511 SWAP.HIVE = $0.0002083 (Highest Bid)

In the table below you can see the difference in HIVE and dollar value of the STARDOM token in the time interval February 13, 2023 - February 27, 2023.

## Evaluation of my investment in Stardom Play ### (After 14 days of play)

Every blockchain-based game becomes also an investment in the moment I decide to purchase assets (NFTs and tokens) using my liquidity outside the game. In addition to the strategic and purely game aspects, I like to keep track of the financial results related to each blockchain-based game in which I play.

## Total Investment Cost

On February 13, 2023, I purchased 3 NFT Boosters: 3 Burger from https://nftm.art/buy/stardom. For this purchase I spent 29999 STARDOM which I purchased from https://hive-engine.com/trade/STARDOM spending 14.39952 SWAP.HIVE

I also purchased an NFT TR5 Grip Van to increase the number of my Fans and to have access to missions above the first one. I spent 7.1 SWAP.HIVE on this purchase.

As you can see from the calculations in the table below the total cost of my investment on Stardom Play to date has been 21.50 SWAP.HIVE = $9.98.

## TOTAL VALUE NFTs + REWARDS

In the table below, I calculated the total market value of the NFTs I purchased and the STARDOM tokens I accumulated in 14 days by considering the Highest Bid value.

The total value of Stardom Play assets in my possession is 27.10 SWAP.HIVE = $12.39.

## Calculation of PROFIT and ROI

With the data I have collected, I can calculate the financial results (Profit and ROI) of my gaming activity and my investment on Stardom Play.

In 14 days I achieved:

• a Profit of 5.60 SWAP.HIVE = $2.56
• a ROI of +26.50%

## My Investment Strategy

In 14 days I reached game level 11

With level 11 I can play 5 of the 7 available missions.

My game goal is to reach level 25 which will allow me to perform the Show Hosting mission that has the highest STARDOM reward: 500-1500 STARDOM.

Based on the current value of the HIVE and STARDOM tokens (Highest Bid value), I created a table in which I calculated for each type of mission:

• the average gain in STARDOM per mission completed
• the number of missions that can be completed with 100% energy
• the average gain achievable using 100% energy expressed in terms of STARDOM, SWAP.HIVE and $.

I have also calculated the average maximum daily gain obtainable by having unlimited energy obtainable by using Boosters Hamburger that recharge energy by 100% each time they are used (current cost 4.30 HIVE per booster).

Important Note: The results of the calculations in my tables are estimated values and theoretical values because they are based on the current value of the HIVE and STARDOM tokens and may vary as market values change and also do not take into consideration the effect of EGO which if greater than the Ability attribute will produce a diminition of mission rewards.

My strategic goal on Stardom Play is not to get as much daily income as possible but is to get a good income by making a low number of clicks per day.

I'm not a fan of faucets and I don't like to be on the clock to be able to make 196 or 96 clicks a day because I would go crazy or get bored.... My goal is to do 8-6 clicks a day and do mostly missions 6 and 7.

In the next few days I will evaluate buying NFT to increase my skill score to counteract the negative effects of the EGO that comes into play when reaching level 10 or when reaching an amount of Fans greater than or equal to 1000.

Although my investment has been small (9.98$), I have already achieved good results financially, so I am satisfied that I chose to invest in Stardom Play.

In farming and idle games such as Stardom Play I always like to follow a low-risk strategy and after an initial investment phase I try to reach the break-even point considering only the value of the rewards obtained which in the case of Stardom Play are the STARDOM tokens obtained from completing missions.

How long will it take for my investment to be fully covered by the value of STARDOM token rewards?

In these 14 days I have not played consistently and I have not completed all the missions I could complete, and if I am more consistent in playing in the future I should reach the break-even point in about 1 1/2 months or less.

Nel post di oggi mi focalizzo sull'aspetto finanziario di Stardom Play condividendo oltre ai miei progressi di gioco, le miei valutazioni e i guadagni che ho ottenuto dopo 14 giorni.

Stardom Play è un gioco che può essere giocato in due modalità:

• free to play
• play to earn

Chi sceglie la modalità free to play può raccogliere le ricompense di gioco ma può svolgere soltanto la prima missione di gioco e potrà svolgere solo quella fin quando non aumentarà il suo livello di gioco e il suo numero di fans.

Chi sceglie la modalità play to earn acquista pacchi di carte e/o Nfts per aumentare il numero di Fans e per soddisfare i requisiti delle missioni successive alla prima che hanno premi maggiori.

Io ho scelto di giocare nella modalità play to earn perhè ho deciso di acquistare degli NFTs dal mercato utilizzando il sito https://nftm.art/buy/stardom con l'obiettivo di avanzare più velocemente nel gioco e allo stesso tempo raccogliere un maggior numero di ricompense.

Le ricompense di gioco sono gli STARDOM tokens che sono il premio di ogni missione. Ad esempio il premio della prima missione (Casting Call) è un quantitativo di token STARDOM casuale compreso nel range di valori: 1-15 STARDOM.

I token STARDOM sono token di secondo livello della blockchain di Hive e possono essere venduti, acquistati e trasferiti da uno dei DEX dei token di secondo livello di Hive come ad esempio Hive Engine, TribalDex e LeoDex.

## Valutazione del mio investimento su Stardom Play ### (14 giorni dopo)

Ogni gioco basato su blockchain diventa anche un investimento nel momento in cui decido di acquistare assets (NFTs e tokens) utilizzando la mia liquidità esterna al gioco. Oltre agli aspetti strategici e puramente di gioco mi piace tenere traccia dei risultati finanziari collegati ad ogni gioco basato su blockchain in cui gioco.

Come puoi vedere dai calcoli presenti nella tabella seguente il costo totale del mio investimento su Stardom Play è stato fino ad oggi di 21.50 SWAP.HIVE = 9.98$.

## TOTAL VALUE NFTs + REWARDS

Nella tabella seguente ho calcolato il valore totale di mercato degli NFTs che ho acquistato e dei token STARDOM che ho accumulato in 14 giorni considerarndo il valore Highest Bid.

Il valore totale degli assets di Stardom Play in mio possesso è di 27.10 SWAP.HIVE = 12.39$.

## Calcolo del PROFIT e del ROI

Con i dati che ho raccolto posso calcolare i risultati finanziari (Profit e ROI) della mia attività di gioco e del mio investimento su Stardom Play.

In 14 giorni ho ottenuto:

• un Profit di 5.60 SWAP.HIVE = 2.56$
• un ROI del +26.50%

## My Investment Strategy

In 14 giorni ho raggiunto il livello di gioco 11

Con il livello 11 posso svolgere 5 delle 7 missioni disponibili.

Il mio obiettivo di gioco è arrivare al livello 25 che mi permetterà di svolgere la missione Show Hosting che ha il premio in STARDOM più alto: 500-1500 STARDOM.

In base al valore attuale dei token HIVE e STARDOM (Highest Bid) ho creato una tabella in cui ho calcolato per ogni tipologia di missione:

• il guadagno medio in STARDOM per missione completata
• il numero di missioni completabili con 100% di energia
• il guadagno medio ottenibile utilizzando il 100% di energia espresso in termini di STARDOM, SWAP.HIVE e $.

Ho calcolato anche il guadagno massimo medio giornaliero ottenibile avendo a disposizione un'energia illimitata ottenibile usando i Boosters Hamburger che ricaricano l'energia del 100% ogni volta che vengono utilizzati (costo attuale 4.30 HIVE per booster).

Nota Importante: I risultati dei calcoli nelle mie tabelle sono valori stimati e valori teorici perchè si basano sul valore attuale dei token HIVE e STARDOM e potrebbero variare al variare dei valori di mercato e inoltre non tengono conto dell'effetto dell'EGO che se maggiore dell'attributo Ability produrrà una diminizione delle ricompense delle missioni.

Il mio obiettivo strategico su Stardom Play non è quello di ottenere il maggior guadagno giornaliero possibile ma è di ottenere un buon guadagno effettuando un basso numero di click al giorno.

Non sono un fan dei faucets e non mi piace stare con l'orologio in mano per riuscire a fare 196 o 96 click al giorno perchè impazzirei o mi annoierei... Il mio obiettivo è fare 8-6 click al giorno e svolgere prevalentemente le missioni 6 e 7.

Nei prossimi giorni valuterò l'acquisto di NFT per aumentare il mio punteggio di abilità per contrastare gli effetti negativi dell'EGO che entra in gioco quando si raggiunge il livello 10 o quando si raggiunge un quantitativo di Fans maggiore o uguale a 1000.

Anche se il mio investimento è stato piccolo (9.98$) ho già ottenuto dei buoni risultati dal punto di vista finanziario e quindi sono soddisfatto di aver scelto di investire su Stardom Play.

Nei giochi di farming e negli idle games come Stardom Play mi piace sempre seguire una strategia a basso rischio e dopo una prima fase di investimento cerco di raggiungere il punto di break-even considerando solo il valore delle ricompense ottenute che nel caso di Stardom Play sono i token STARDOM ottenuti dal completamento delle missioni.

Quanto tempo occorrerà al mio investimento per essere coperto totalmente dal valore delle ricompense in STARDOM token?

In questi 14 giorni non ho giocato sempre e non ho completato tutte le missioni che potevo completare e se in futuro sarò più costante nel giocare dovrei raggiungere il punto di break-even in circa 1 mese e mezzo o anche meno.
