Today, after 16 days since my last post on Terracore, I return to share my gaming experience and investment strategy on Terracore which is a idle game developed on the Hive blockchain.

# Changes and news that have occurred in the past 16 days

Since my last post on Terracore 16 days have passed, and in these 16 days news and new features have been introduced in the game:

• on April 24, 2023 NFTs and Crates were introduced: Terracore: Devlog #16 - Introducing Terracore NFTs!

The Crates contain 1 game item and the price is linked to the value of the SCRAP tokens and therefore may change over time.

To purchase a Crate, it is necessary to click on the chest symbol on the main page of Terracore as indicated by the arrow in the following image.

On the next page you need to click on BUY CRATE and then authorize the transfer of SCRAP tokens from your Hive Engine Wallet by clicking on Confirm within the Hive Keychain screen.

NFTs can also be purchased and sold individually from the market of Terracore Hub accessible at the following address: https://terracorehub.com/market

Each transaction on the market has a fee of 5% which the seller obviously pays.

• On April 26, 2023 a change to the registration cost (Citizenship) was introduced.

The new registration cost is fixed at $10 payable in HIVE (previously it was 20 HIVE) The new Refer a Friend bonus has been set at $2 in HIVE.

• on April 30, 2023 the Engineering statistic** equation has been changed whose upgrade now follows a less steep increase than before and thus the mechanism governing the minerate has changed (see screenshot below).

## My Game Activity and My Investment Strategy After 43 Days of Play

In my previous post on Terracore I shared the achievement of a important financial result that has long been part of my consolidated investment strategy in idle games: reaching the break-even point in the shortest possible time.

I reached the break-even point in 26 game days, and now that Terracore has become a free-to-play game for me, I can play and reinvest the game rewards to improve my game stats without any worries.

In 43 days of play I have made the claim of a total of 403.29 SCRAP whose current market value (Highest Bid) is 49.36 HIVE = $20.23

I used SCRAP tokens in the way indicated by the percentages you can see in the table below.

I used the 52.80% (213 SCRAP) to improve my game statistics. In the following image you can see the starting point and my current game stats.

To date, I have chosen to upgrade mainly the statistics:

• ENGINEERING
• DEFENSE

My current game strategy is to continue powering mainly the DEFENSE stat until I notice a decrease in the attacks I suffer when my STASH contains more than 3 SCRAP.

With the stat DEFENSE = 70 I manage to suffer no attacks in a span of about 4 hours but then and especially in the morning after waking up I always find two to five attacks suffered.

With the stat ENGINEERING = 7 I could gain 0.63776 SCRAP per hour = 15.30 SCRAP per day but these calculations are estimated because they do not take into consideration the effects of attacks suffered and attacks made by me.

If you are a new player, I recommend that you initially invest especially in the DEFENSE stat ;).

From the financial point of view I am very happy that I chose to play and invest in Terracore.

In the table below you can see the amount of SCRAP tokens I have sold so far and the profit I have made.

In 43 days of play, I obtained the following financial results:

• profit: 4.57 SWAP.HIVE = $1.91
• ROI: +22.85%

My investment strategy on Terracore (as in all idle games I play) will always be influenced by two main elements:

• the number of active players
• the value of SCRAP tokens.

My basic strategy will be:

• reinvest 50% of the game rewards (SCRAP) back into the game
• Sell 50% of the SCRAP tokens to make Power Up on Hive.

Those who start playing today will start at a MINE RATE = 0.0001 SCRAP per second and in the table below you can see the potential hourly and daily earnings.

Important note: the results I calculated in the above table are estimated values because they do not consider the effect:

• of attacks suffered that reduce the estimated gains
• of the attacks made that positively affect the estimated gains

I will end this post with a small focus on the SCRAP token which has been maintaining good stability for some time now by staying within a fairly restricted range of values.

In the table below you can see the difference in value of SCRAP tokens (in HIVE and dollars) over the time interval: April 19, 2023 - May 5, 2023.

In a 16-day time interval, both the HIVE token and the SCRAP token lose value against the dollar but this decrease in value is minimal:

• HIVE: -5.75%
• SCRAP: -15.60% (Highest Bid Value)
• SCRAP: -7.62% (Lowest Ask Value)

# Changes and news that have occurred in the past 16 days

Dal mio ultimo post su Terracore sono passati 16 giorni e in questi 16 giorni sono state introdotte novità e nuove funzionalità nel gioco:

• il 24 aprile 2023 sono stati introdotti gli NFTs e i Crates: Terracore: Devlog #16 - Introducing Terracore NFTs!

I Crates contengono 1 game item e il prezzo è collegato al valore dei token SCRAP e quindi può variare nel corso del tempo.

Per acquistare un Crate è necessario cliccare sul simbolo del forziere nella pagina principale di Terracore come indicato dalla freccia nell'immagine seguente.

Nella pagina successiva è necessario cliccare su BUY CRATE e poi autorizzare il trasferimento dei token SCRAP dal tuo Hive Engine Wallet cliccando su Confirm all'interno della schermata di Hive Keychain.

Gli NFTs possono essere acquistati e venduti anche singolarmente dal market di Terracore Hub accessibile al seguente indirizzo: https://terracorehub.com/market

Ogni transazione sul market ha una fee del 5% che ovviamente paga il venditore.

• il 30 aprile 2023 è stata modificata l'equazione della statistica Engineering il cui upgrade segue adesso un incremento meno ripido rispetto a prima e quindi è cambiato il meccanismo che governa il minerate (vedi screenshot seguente).

## My Game Activity and My Investment Strategy After 43 Days of Play

Nel mio precedente post su Terracore ho condiviso il raggiungimento di un importante risultato finanziario che fa parte da tempo della mia strategia di investimento consolidata negli idle games: raggiungere il punto di pareggio nel più breve tempo possibile.

Ho raggiunto il punto di pareggio in 26 giorni di gioco e adesso che Terracore è diventato per me un free-to-play game posso giocare e reinvestire le ricompense di gioco per migliorare le mie statistiche di gioco senza pensieri.

In 43 giorni di gioco ho fatto il claim di un totale di 403.29 SCRAP il cui valore di mercato attuale (Highest Bid) è di 49.36 HIVE = 20.23$

Ho utilizzato i token SCRAP in base alle percentuali che puoi vedere nella tabella seguente.

Ho utilizzato il 52.80% (213 SCRAP) per migliorare le mie statistiche di gioco. Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere il punto di partenza e le mie statistiche di gioco attuali.

Fino ad oggi ho scelto di potenziare principalmente le statistiche:

• ENGINEERING
• DEFENSE

La mia strategia di gioco attuale è di continuare a potenziare soprattuto la stat DEFENSE fino a quando noterò una diminuzione degli attacchi che subisco quando il mio STASH contiene più di 3 SCRAP.

Con la stat DEFENSE = 70 riesco a non subire attacchi in un arco di tempo di circa 4 ore ma poi e soprattutto la mattina trovo sempre da due a cinque attacchi subiti.

Con la stat ENGINEERING = 7 potrei guadagnare 0.63776 SCRAP all'ora = 15.30 SCRAP al giorno ma questi calcoli sono stimati perchè non considerano gli effetti degli attacchi subiti e degli attacchi da me effettuati.

Se sei un nuovo giocatore ti consiglio di investire inizialmente soprattutto sulla statistica DEFENSE ;)

Dal punto di vista finanziario sono molto contento di aver scelto di giocare e di investire su Terracore.

Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere il quantitativo di token SCRAP che ho venduto fino ad ora e il guadagno che ho ottenuto.

In 43 giorni di gioco ho ottenuto i seguenti risultati finanziari:

• Profitto: 4.57 SWAP.HIVE = 1.91$
• ROI: +22.85%

La mia strategia di investimento su Terracore (come in tutti gli idle games in cui gioco) sarà sempre influenzata da due elementi principali:

• il numero dei giocatori attivi
• il valore dei token SCRAP

La mia strategia di base sarà:

• reinvestire nel gioco il 50% delle ricompense di gioco (SCRAP)
• vendere il 50% dei token SCRAP per fare Power Up su Hive

Chi inizia a giocare oggi partirà da un MINE RATE = 0.0001 SCRAP al secondo e nella tabella seguente puoi vedere i potenziali guadagni orari e giornalieri.

Nota importante: i risultati che ho calcolato nella tabella precedente sono valori stimati perchè non considerano l'effetto:

• degli attacchi subiti che riducono i guadagni stimati
• degli attacchi effettuati che influiscono positivamente sui guadagni stimati

Se sei un nuovo giocatore per riuscire ad ottenere questi guadagni dovrai prima incrementare le tue statistiche di gioco soprattutto difensive ;)

Concludo questo post con un piccolo focus sul token SCRAP che mantiene da tempo una buona stabilità mantenendosi in un range di valori abbastanza ristretto.

Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere la differenza di valore dei token SCRAP (in HIVE e in dollari) nell'intervallo di tempo: 19 aprile 2023 - 5 maggio 2023.

In un intervallo di tempo di 16 giorni sia il token HIVE che il token SCRAP perdono valore rispetto al dollaro ma questa diminuzione di valore è minima:

• HIVE: -5.75%
• SCRAP: -15.60% (Highest Bid Value)
• SCRAP: -7.62% (Lowest Ask Value)
