Hi friends, this is a post on Splinterlands a little different from the posts I wrote earlier. I will not deal with game-related topics such as advice on which cards to buy or game strategies.
Today I want to leave out the game of Splinterlands and focus attention only on the posts and contests of Splinterlands. In this way I will show you that Splinterlands is not only a game but it is much more.
So far between guides, tips, ratings and contests I have written more than twenty posts on Splinterlands and I will show you how much I have earned.
Why should you write posts about Splinterlands?
When I joined Splinterlands (almost 5 months ago) I immediately realized that I was playing a fun game with great potential.
When I like something I immediately try to pass on my positive impressions to friends.
So after five days from joining the game I wrote my first post on Splinterlands where I asked myself the question: Is Splinterlands a game or an investment?

Those who follow me or have read my posts already know the answer to this question: Splinterlands is a nice game but it is above all an excellent investment (calculations in hand and at least until today).
Those who play Splinterlands can choose to play only or they can do like me. In addition to playing, I also dedicate myself to writing posts and I participate with pleasure in the various weekly contests that Splinterlands offers to its players.
If you like playing, you'll also like to write posts.
Taking part in Splinterlands contests is fun and it is, at the same time, very convenient to participate.
How much did I earn with Splinterlands posts?
Important Notes:
For simplicity of calculation I have considered:
- The STU value equal to the Dollar value, but the STU (Steem Token Units) are not dollars and their value in the last 5 months has always been lower than the dollar.
- I have considered an average STEEM value of approximate $ 0.16, but, as you can see from the graph in the following image, the value of a STEEM has changed continuously over the past 5 months. A single post, after the canonical 7 days, received as a reward a quantity of STEEM inversely proportional to the value of STEEM. So the less STEEM was worth at the time of payment and the more my post earned STEEM and vice versa.
- I have not considered other aspects that influence the amount of a post's final reward.

In five months I have written a total of 20 posts on Splinterlands.

To calculate the total profit, I filtered my posts with the spt tag and added all the votes received by @steemmonsters.

As you well know, the reward for the post author is 50%
My total reward is 61.905 STU ( 123.81 / 2 ).
Now if I divide the value in STU by the value of a STEEM I get the STEEM gain obtained from all my posts with the spt tag.

When I signed up, 1 STEEM was worth $ 0.13, almost equal to today's March 13, 2020 value.

In what other centralized game is it possible to do this?
Are you a Splinterlands player?
If you are a Splinterlands player and if you do not post Splinterlands and do not participate in the contests, I suggest you start.
Each week Splinterlands publishes four different contests with different themes:
Contest: Share your battle

Contest link: https://steemit.com/splinterlands/@splinterlands/tnfgu-share-your-battle-weekly-challenge-win-upvotes
It's a fun contest. You must share your own battle respecting the weekly theme. This week the theme is the Gelatinous Cube card.
If you don't know how to participate you can read the step-by-step guide I wrote some time ago. The steps of the guide are still valid, you just have to use the Gelatinous Cube card instead of Naga Windmaster.
If you want a generous upvote you have to share your post on any other social network.
Contest: Weekly Curation Challenge!

It is a free theme contest and therefore you can write anything you want. The more quality your post will be, the more rewarded you will be. You will receive a more substantial upvote if you share your post on any other social network.

If I also consider the rewards of my posts on Splinterlands I recovered the initial expenditure in less than a month and then I only had earnings.
I will reward all Stemians who register on Splinterlands, who use my refferal link and who purchase the Starter Set with:
